The Design of the Minimum Spanning Tree Algorithms  [PDF]

Abstract: Based on the graphic theory and improved genetic algorithm,an improved genetic algorithm to search the minimum spanning trees is given . The algorithm uses binary code to represent the problem of minimum spanning trees. It designs the corresponding fitness function,operator and few controlling strategies to improve its speed and evolutionary efficiency.Only one solution can be gotten with running traditional al-gorithem atone time.The new algorithm can get a set of the solutions with higher probability in a shorter time.The experiment shows that it has a better performance than traditional methods.

Chinese enterprises’ overseas M & A reached $43.4 billion in 2012, and the number was 26.3 times that of 2003. With Chinese enterprises’ increased overseas M & A cases, Chinese are facing the challenges from culture. This paper studies national cultural distance and enterprise culture distance, and measure relevant distance for 16 Chinese M & A cases.

Research into Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition System of Server Based on B/S Model

Abstract: This paper proposes a new method based on server performance monitoring system within B/S(Browser server) mode, aiming at providing a more direct and convenient way for the network administrator to understand the software performance. The method is divided into two main functional modules:the monitoring of current use of resources and the log view. The former realizes the remote real-time monitoring of system resources in the process of the server running and makes the records of monitoring data into the database; the log view renders a reference for the administrators' debugging and maintaining through the Ajax asynchronous data to call the monitoring data in the database and the use of Silverlight to form wave maps by drawing curves in the client-side script. The system with B/S mode enables the administractor to view the server-side situation at anytime and anywhere when the performance testing and network maintenance meet troubles. The results of the simulation experment prove the feasibility of the method.
Pinning Forces in Superconductors from Periodic Ferromagnetic Dot Array  [PDF]

Abstract: Using the London equation, we derive a formula by which the pinning force from magnetic dots can be cal-culated. We numerically calculate the interaction between ferromagnetic dots and vortices in type II super-conductors under various conditions. It is found that the pinning force of the magnetic dot with 50 nm thick-ness reaches 3.5 × 10-11 N that is one order magnitude stronger than the intrinsic pinning force in cuprate at 77 K. We investigate various parameter dependences of the pinning force. It is found that the most effective way to increase the pinning force is to increase the thickness of the dot. The pinning force is weakly de-pendent on both the size and magnetic permeability of the dots. When temperature increases, the pinning force linearly decreases. And when the magnetic field increases, the attraction force increases linearly in the low field region.

Abstract: Universities/college P.E. teachers play an important part in universities/colleges’ development. Professional moral cultivation which acts as the professional attitude and professional standard is the basic ethics standard for college P.E. teachers. Through the investigation about eight universities P.E. teachers’ current professional moral cultivation in Chongqing, this paper finds the de-criterion phenomenon in teachers’ professional moral cultivation, then analyzes the influence factors, and puts forward some improving methods finally to provide theory basis for strengthening teacher’s professional moral cultivation construction and enhance P.E. teacher’s scientific research level in Chongqing.

Abstract: The title centrosymmetric dinuclear NiII complex, [Ni(C14H8O4S)(C3H7NO)]n, was prepared via reaction of Ni(NO3)2·6H2O and thiosalicylic acid, with H2O and dimethylformamide (DMF) as the mixed solvent. The central NiII ion is five-coordinated by five O atoms from DMF and from the carboxylate groups of the organic ligand. The symmetry-related coordination polyhedra interlink into centrosymmetric dimeric units and these, in turn, are linked into infinite chains propagating parallel to [100].
Efficacy of cervical fixed-point traction manipulation for cervical spondylotic radiculopathy: a randomized controlled trial

Abstract: BACKGROUND: Cervical spondylotic radiculopathy is a commonly encountered and frequently occurring disease. Traditional Chinese osteopathic manipulations may have better therapeutic efficacy than that of other methods in treating patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy.OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the clinical therapeutic effects of cervical fixed-point traction manipulation in treating patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy.DESIGN, SETTING, PARTICIPANTS AND INTERVENTIONS: A prospective, randomized controlled trial was adopted. Eighty-four patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy were randomly divided into treatment group (n=42) and control group (n=42). All patients were enrolled from the outpatient service of Department of Rehabilitation of Chinese PLA General Hospital of China. Patients received oral and written information about clinical procedures before giving their written informed consent. The patients were treated with cervical fixed-point traction manipulation (treatment group) or cervical computer traction (control group). Cervical fixed-point traction was performed once every other day for a total of seven treatment periods and cervical computer traction was performed 30 min, once per day for 14 d.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Before and after treatment, visual analogue scale (VAS) score and temperature of upper limb skin (normal limb and abnormal limb) detected by infrared thermal imaging system were contrastively analyzed.RESULTS: Five patients were lost to follow-up, one patient in the treatment group and four patients in the control group. There were significant differences in VAS score and temperature difference between the normal and abnormal upper limbs of infrared thermal imaging in the treatment group (t=28.652, P<0.01; t=64.214, P<0.01) or in the control group (t=14.484, P<0.05; t=84.425, P<0.05) compared between before and after treatment. After treatment, the changes in VAS score and temperature difference of normal and abnormal upper limbs in the treatment group were more obvious compared with the control group (t=7.494, P<0.01; t=5.321, P<0.01). CONCLUSION: Cervical fixed-point traction manipulation has better efficacy than cervical computer traction in treating patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy.
Nonlinear Combinational Forecasting Based on Support Vector Machine

Abstract: Traditional forecast techniques apply a single forecaster to carry out the task. However, this forecaster might not be the best for all situations or databases. In this paper, we propose a nonlinear combinational forecasting model mainly based on SVM and several single forecasting methods such as Grey theory, Grey Verhulst model, exponentiation model, exponent model and linear model to carry out data forecasting. During the process of the forecast, firstly the model group fits several single forecast approaches are used to form a model group, and a set of data in time sequence. Secondly, the fitted results by different traditional predictive models in time sequence act as the input of the support vector machine regression (SVMR) model, and the changeable weights of the input quantities, which are the important part of the combinational SVMR prediction model, can be obtained by relative SVMR approach based on known input and output samples. Several single prediction approaches are used to build first model group. Then the prediction results of the first model group constitute a multi-dimension vector and act as the input sample of Support Vector Machine (SVM) model. In the paper, the procedure of the combinational prediction based on SVMR is discussed in details. Two examples in time sequence have proven that the proposed model can balance fitting and extrapolation, and make a break through the traditional prediction rules. At the same time, the issue that the good fitting with bad extrapolation resulted by excessive learning is solved effectively in this paper. Moreover, the proposed combinational prediction model has higher prediction accuracy by comparing with the other approaches. The validity and feasibility of the proposed model has also been proven through the experiences.
Flexible Business Process Integration for Clusters of Small-Medium Sized Enterprises in Heterogenous Environment

Abstract: Industry clusters-groups of geographically proximate enterprises in the same industry are a striking feature of the geography of economic activity and greatly impact the overall economic development. However, most of them are low-cost-based clusters that are composed of small-medium enterprises which needs social electronic services and flexible business process integration. In this paper, we present an on-demand information service platform for small-medium enterprise clusters and propose loosely-coupled service-oriented business process integration scheme for this platform. Several key techniques such as business application definition language and graphical representation for integration in heterogenous environment, packaging and executive strategy for integrating services, dependency set and context of integration service, and mapping translation based on synonymous semantic definition are proposed. Professional services can be provided via this platform to promote the enterprises’ innovative ability and help business to gain competitive advantages. The platform and the related techniques have been applied in realistic textile industrial clusters.
A Fractional Anomalous Diffusion Model and Numerical Simulation for Sodium Ion Transport in the Intestinal Wall

Abstract: The authors present a fractional anomalous diffusion model to describe the uptake of sodium ions across the epithelium of gastrointestinal mucosa and their subsequent diffusion in the underlying blood capillaries using fractional Fick’s law. A heterogeneous two-phase model of the gastrointestinal mucosa is considered, consisting of a continuous extracellular phase and a dispersed cellular phase. The main mode of uptake is considered to be a fractional anomalous diffusion under concentration gradient and potential gradient. Appropriate partial differential equations describing the variation with time of concentrations of sodium ions in both the two phases across the intestinal wall are obtained using Riemann-Liouville space-fractional derivative and are solved by finite difference methods. The concentrations of sodium ions in the interstitial space and in the cells have been studied as a function of time, and the mean concentration of sodium ions available for absorption by the blood capillaries has also been studied. Finally, numerical results are presented graphically for various values of different parameters. This study demonstrates that fractional anomalous diffusion model is appropriate for describing the uptake of sodium ions across the epithelium of gastrointestinal mucosa. 1. Introduction The intestinal wall represents a complex system which allows the passage of substances either through the cells or in between the cells. The luminal surface of the intestine is covered with a typically leaky epithelium which enables the passage of ions via the intercellular route. The substance to be absorbed either penetrates into the intercellular space directly through the tight junction or enters the cell cytoplasm through the apical plasma membrane from the lumen of the intestine and then penetrates through the lateral plasma membrane to enter the intercellular space. The latter route leads to the underlying lamina propria, which consists of connective tissue, blood vessels, and lymph capillaries, and thus the substance enters the circulation (Figure 1) [1]. The process in which the ions enter the cell is passive diffusion under concentration gradient and potential gradient. This is mainly because transmural electrical potential differences of 5–12?mV have been reported from a variety of species during recent years [2, 3]. Although the potential differences across the intestinal wall are relatively small, they cannot be ignored in the studies of the intestinal transport of charged species [4].
