Uncovering Consumer Mindsets Regarding Raw Beverages  [PDF]
Ryan Zemel, Attila Gere, Petraq Papajorgji, Glenn Zemel, Howard Moskowitz
Food and Nutrition Sciences (FNS) , 2018, DOI: 10.4236/fns.2018.93020
Abstract: Nutritional fads in the health and fitness world are constantly changing. Each new craze has its believers and critics. For the consumer, “what to believe” becomes a topic filled with uncertainty. This paper presents a systematic approach to understanding what consumers believe about the health messaging of “raw beverages”. The paper presents both substantive results from US consumers, as well as demonstrates a general approach by which researchers can more deeply understand the consumer mind with respect to the specifics of health and wellness issues.

Simple, low-cost flow controllers for time averaged atmospheric sampling and other applications
Gere,J.I.; Gratton,R.;
Latin American applied research , 2010,
Abstract: in air sampling is often necessary to limit the air inflow into an initially void vessel in order to extend the filling time. this requires devices characterized by very low, known and stable conductance. likewise devices may also be used to control the gas flow between two vessels, or the outflow from gas containers. depending on the use, they are called flow controllers, controlled leaks or, as in our case, inflow regulators. in this work we describe simple and cheap inflow regulators designed to collect air samples in 0.5 l vessels with filling times of many days. these inflow regulators may be adjusted within a wide impedance range and proved to be very stable under laboratory conditions and reasonably stable even under much harder operating conditions in field experiments.

Refinement of Robertson-type uncertainty principles with geometric interpretation
Attila Lovas,Attila Andai
Physics , 2013,
Abstract: A generalisation of the classical covariance for quantum mechanical observables has previously been presented by Gibilisco, Hiai and Petz. Gibilisco and Isola has proved that the usual quantum covariance gives the sharpest inequalities for the determinants of covariance matrices. We introduce a new generalisation of the classical covariance which gives better inequalities than the classical one furthermore it has a direct geometric interpretation.
Measure on gauge invariant symmetric norms

Mathematics , 2015,
Abstract: The concept of a gauge invariant symmetric random norm is elaborated in this paper. We introduce norm processes and show that this kind of stochastic processes are closely related to gauge invariant symmetric random norms. We construct a gauge invariant symmetric random norm on the plain. We define two different extensions of these random norms to higher (even infinite) dimensions. We calculate numerically unit spheres of expected norms in two and three dimensions for the constructed random norm.

Social Contributions in Romania
Attila Gyorgy
Romanian Journal of Fiscal Policy , 2012,
Abstract: Social contributions have an important impact on payroll policy. Also, social contributions represent a significant budgetary revenue item which can be viewed at the edge between taxation and insurance. Social contributions in Romania experienced many changes which ended in 2008. Nowadays, they are within a long transaction period towards partial externalization of the insurance activity to privately managed funds. The aim of this paper is to analyse the homogeneity of Romanian social security public scheme using annual data extracted from 2002-2009.The main findings reveal that social contributions reached the pinnacle of diversification, being too many, some of them with a small contribution rates; fiscal reforms which reduced contribution rates advantaged employers, and state will be interested to externalize this activity as far private sector will be able to assume this responsibility and the budgetary effects are acceptable for the public finance.
