Investigando a hipótese da paridade do poder de compra: um enfoque n?o linear
Marques, André M.;
Revista de Economia Contemporanea , 2011, DOI: 10.1590/S1415-98482011000200004
Abstract: we consider a threshold time series model in order to test the ppp hypothesis with brazilian effective real exchange rate dataset in the long run. by following keenan (1985), tsay (1986) and chan (1990), we test brazilian dataset for several types of nonlinearities. so, after apply hansen's test to infer about the number of regimes, we apply the more recent methodology of self-exciting threshold autoregressive (setar) model to point out some threshold to which a signal of turning point could be given in the states of the exchange rate dynamics. all the tests suggest that the brazilian real exchange rate is highly nonlinear. the skeleton of the setar models fitted shows that ppp hypothesis is supported in the long run in spite the deviations from short run.
ADVANCES IN THE UNDERSTANDING OF THE DISSOLUTION MECHANISM OF CELLULOSE IN DMAc/LiCl
STRIEGEL,ANDRé M.;
Journal of the Chilean Chemical Society , 2003, DOI: 10.4067/S0717-97072003000100013
Abstract: a summary is presented of what is known to date of the mechanism of dissolution of cellulose in the mixed solvent n,n?-dimethyl acetamide with lithium chloride (dmac/licl), including recent results from the author?s laboratory as well as from other laboratories around the world. the requirements for a rigorous dissolution mechanism are outlined and a mechanism is proposed that includes the most recent experimental data
MECáNICA DE SISTEMAS MATERIALES CONTINUOS DESDE MARCOS DE REFERENCIA NO INERCIALES
Granados M,Andrés;
Boletín Técnico , 2002,
Abstract: abstract in this paper it has been developed a simplified mathematical model for the study of the mechanics of continuous deformable material systems (those dynamical continuous systems with an invariant mass), kinematically described from a non-inertial frame of reference. in the first part, basic definitions and some fundamental kinematical and dynamical concepts are stated, for their subsequent use in the second and in the third parts. within these, the coordinate transformation and the relations of some dynamical integral quantities are of special attention. in the second part, it has been established the conservative equations of mass, linear momentum and angular momentum applied to general continuous deformable material systems flowing through a generalized translating control volume, which may rotate and deform in an arbitrary way. in order to obtain these conservative equations, the reynolds transport theorems are applied. these same equations will be obtained in a substantially more simplified form, using a different analysis and adopting a condensed notation, taken from the integral point of view of the classical mechanics. in the third part the law of conservation for mechanical energy, the k?nig and steiner theorems are deduced for the general case studied in the second part. also, it is established a way to calculate the transportation of the tensor of inertia when the body (i.e. the material system) is deformable. in this part the objective is to extend to deformable bodies those results traditionally known for rigid bodies. at the end, it is found that this last dissertation (deduced from an integral dynamical analysis) is equivalent to that studied in the second pan (deduced from the reynolds transport theorems). additionally, in an attached appendice the leibniz rule is briefly deduced, and the reynolds transport theorems are presented in a summarized way
EL ARTE DE LA DOMINACIóN: ARTE RUPESTRE Y PAISAJE DURANTE EL PERíODO INCAICO EN LA CUENCA SUPERIOR DEL RíO ACONCAGUA
Troncoso M.,Andrés;
Chungará (Arica) , 2004, DOI: 10.4067/S0717-73562004000200016
Abstract: considering the formal and spatial characteristics of the rock art in the upper basin of aconcagua river, central chile, i attempt to understand the inka presence in this region and, particularly, the social role played by this system of visual representation. for this purpose, the social function of rock is defined for the late intermediate period. next, considering the meaning of the material statement and the changes that affected it during inka times, i analize it as an active agent in the social process of spatial occupation and domination imposed by the tawantinsuyu in the upper basin of the aconcagua river
PROPOSICIóN DE ESTILOS PARA EL ARTE RUPESTRE DEL VALLE DE PUTAENDO, CURSO SUPERIOR DEL RíO ACONCAGUA
Troncoso M,Andrés;
Chungará (Arica) , 2003, DOI: 10.4067/S0717-73562003000200003
Abstract: this paper presents new archaeological research undertaken on the rock art of the putaendo valley. from the information gathering, we are proposing the existence of three styles of rock art associated with the late intermediate (900-1.400 a.d.), late or inca (1.400-1.536 a.d.) and historical periods (1.536 a.d. onwards).
HACIA UNA SEMIóTICA DEL ARTE RUPESTRE DE LA CUENCA SUPERIOR DEL RíO ACONCAGUA, CHILE CENTRAL
Troncoso M.,Andrés;
Chungará (Arica) , 2005, DOI: 10.4067/S0717-73562005000100003
Abstract: in this article the material world of prehispanic central chile is conceptualized as a system of specialized semiotics and a product of a particular thought process. using a semiotic characterization of a rock art from the upper basic of the aconcagua river has allowed the characterization of two rock art styles. these styles are compared with other representational systems from the same area in order to characterize a general semiotic principle for the production of the visual systems such as pottery and architecture. the results allow for a discussion of chronological associations of local rock art, with ties to the late intermediate period and late horizon
APODICTICIDAD Y AUTOMANIFESTACIóN
Osswald,Andrés M;
Revista de filosofía , 2011, DOI: 10.4067/S0718-43602011000100014
Abstract: the current paper seeks to expound the principal aspects of the husserlian theory of apodicticity, to present its dificulties and to offer a posible solution to its mains problems. in conection to the latter the directive idea that leads the followings considerations is that we must understand the apodicticity of the "i" in terms of the temporal synthesis, in particular, in the characteristics features of the living present.
Saúde e crise da modernidade (caminhos, fronteiras e horizontes)
Médici, André Cezar;
Arteaga M.,Andrés;
Teología y vida , 2001, DOI: 10.4067/S0049-34492001000100002
Abstract: abstract the article attempts to look in depth, the character of the relations between creation and salvation. it first poses the question of the role of creation on salvation, in the context of the current theology, and then shows some examples of the complexity of the relation between creation and salvation. it analyses the origin of the doctrine of creation in the old testament, its evolution in paul?s doctrine, its perspective in some of ranner?s works, and finally, in the vatican council ii texts. it finishes offering some conclusive observation on the light that the mystery of creation brings over the mediations of salvation. salvation is "an aspect of the fullness" of the divine plan. soteriology and protology imply each other. so, salvation from the creation standpoint is "god?s", but also "from the human person in the world and history". the "worldliness", "historicity", and "humanity" of salvation are unremovable characteristics and fundamental co-ordinates for any theological reflection about the mediations of salvation. christian salvation is all god?s and mediated as well.
Teología en la Universidad
Arteaga M.,Andrés;
Teología y vida , 2002, DOI: 10.4067/S0049-34492002000100002
Abstract: abstract this paper attempts to provide some criteria for the analysis of the relationship between theology and university. the author starts with a consideration of some historical records of the university in chile, and the place of the theology in this institution. then he briefly regards some declarations of the church on this issue. in the light of this information, he proposes some paramount principles which support the basic thesis: "there is no university without theology, and no theology without university". this entails the characterisation of the proper and specific task of theology in midst of the many paths which attempt to explain reality. in the conclusion the author encourages to row into the sea of the theological studies at the university, as this regarded as a cultural laboratory, where the pertinence, rigour and meaningfulness of theology should be shown, therefore as an indispensable branch of human knowledge, in a dialogue with other approximations to science
