Abstract: the purpose of this article is analyzing, in a comparative perspective, the managerial public administration and the societal public administration, in order to propose a research agenda for future investigation. in this perspective, we examine the antecedents and characteristics of these public management models and then we compare these models from six observational variables: the origin, the political project, the structural dimensions emphasized in management, the administrative organization of the state apparatus, the institutions opening to social participation, and the management approach. finally, we emphasize the limits and benefits of each model, and point out the need to deepen studies about societal public administration and the social management approach.

Abstract: Este artigo analisa as contribui es de Maurício Tragtenberg no campo da crítica da administra o. Para tanto, s o examinadas suas três principais contribui es para esses estudos, tendo como referência o marxismo anarquizante que permeia seu pensamento: a crítica da burocracia, a crítica das teorias administrativas e a crítica da co-gest o. A inten o é demonstrar que suas críticas est o diretamente relacionadas com a vis o anarquista que sustenta seu pensamento libertário e sua defesa da autogest o. Concluindo, avalia-se a atualidade do pensamento de Tragtenberg em um contexto de revival e resgate da utopia anarquista, apontando caminhos para os estudos organizacionais que podem ser realizados de acordo com essa perspectiva. This article analyzes the contribution of Maurício Tragtenberg to the field of critical administration. As such, three principle contributions are examined for this study, using as a reference anarchistic Marxism that permeated his thinking, a critique of bureaucracy, a critique of administrative theories and a critique of co-management. The intention is to demonstrate that such critiques are directly related to an anarchist vision that sustains his libertarian thinking and defense of self management. In conclusion the article evaluates the current thinking of Tragtenberg in the context of revival and rescue of anarchist utopia, pointing to paths for organizational studies that could be made in agreement with this perspective.

Abstract: In recent years, several agencies have been created to support solidarity initiatives. Among these agencies aretechnology incubators of popular cooperatives (ITCPs). Within this context, the article aims to identify whether theITCP/UNEB, the ITES/UFBA, and the INCOOP/UFSCar are structured in a self-management way and whetherthey perform formal education activities. The research had a qualitative nature, by means of semi-structuredinterviews and documentary reviews. For the analysis of the data, we adopted the content analysis. The surveyresults showed that there is not a more solid proposal to hold discussions about its theory and practice. Theconcern seems to be the most technical aspect of incubation than the thoughts that generate the incubation itselfand which remit to the solidarity economy and self-management. In this sense, there seems to be a practicaldifficulty for the exercise of self-criticism in the incubators.

Abstract: this article aims to contribute to the discussion in the area of solidary economy. based on the ideas of guerreiro ramos and maurício tragtenberg, the work analyzed the difficulties found by individuals to be inserted in the cooperative logic. in order to reach its objective, a case study was made in coopetex, in which were analyzed aspects like the existence of the cooperative principles, the participation and the automanagement, as well as the presence of the values and characteristic practices of the capitalist model of production. it was possible to identify a devaluation of the principles which guides the cooperative movement and that automanagement exists only as a discourse. also, it was perceived that capitalist values and methods are widely used, which makes the cooperative a reproduction of the conventional enterprises. from the obtained results, it was possible to conclude that cooperative members need to change their way of acting in order to provide legitimacy for cooperative's functioning.

Abstract: O objetivo deste artigo é analisar o papel das empresas juniores na forma o dos administradores. Tal tipo de organiza o geralmente é associado a uma leitura exclusivamente positiva, n o contraditória, e a isso se relaciona ao senso comum a respeito da importancia pedagógica das empresas juniores para a forma o acadêmica e profissional. O referencial teórico versa sobre como, sob os auspícios do mundo administrado, as violências s o apreendidas como naturais e essenciais para a forma o dos sujeitos, em consonancia com o status quo, e como reflexo natural e necessário das rela es do capitalismo de mercado. Este estudo é uma pesquisa qualitativa, baseada em um estudo de caso desenvolvido a partir da história de vida e utilizou a metodologia hermenêutico-dialética para a análise dos dados. Em seguida, s o discutidas as violências vivenciadas no ambiente acadêmico-profissional das empresas juniores; a naturaliza o dessas violências; o real propósito dessas organiza es, isto é, é a encuca o da ideologia da administra o nos discentes; e o papel da Universidade - destinada à forma o crítica dos sujeitos ou à sua formata o em consonancia com o contexto socioecon mico. Por fim, s o tra adas sucintas considera es adicionais. This paper aims to analyze the role of junior enterprises in the administrators' training. This type of organization is usually associated to an exclusively positive reading, non-contradictory, and this is related to common sense with regard to the pedagogical importance of junior enterprises to the academic and professional training. The theoretical framework focuses on how, under the auspices of the administered world, violence is perceived as natural and essential to the subjects' training, in accordance with the status quo, and as a natural and needed response to the market capitalism relations. This study is a qualitative research, based on a case study developed through life history and using the hermeneutic-dialectic methodology for data analysis. Then, there's a discussion on the violence experienced in the academic-professional environment of junior enterprises; the naturalization of this violence; the actual purpose of these organizations, that is, fixation of administration ideology in the students; and the role of University - which is aimed at the critical training of the subjects or their training in accordance with the socioeconomic context. Finally, brief additional remarks are made.

Abstract: in the 1990s, mba - master in business administration - programs won a solid reputation and expanded beyond u.s. frontiers. in brazil, this movement got momentum with the impressive growth of executive education in management. this paper aims to present and analyze the phenomenon of professional masters in business administration (mpa, in portuguese). to describe this phenomenon, we conducted bibliographic and documental research and made interviews with coordinators and key-persons from local programs. albeit being eventually classified as mbas, the mpas' characteristics make them remarkably different from the north american blueprint. by attempting to align with its regional social and economic context, each program followed its own route, generating a landscape characterized by diversity. we believe that the phenomenon this article describes and analyzes can make a contribution to the current debate over business education.

Abstract: The aim of this article is to carry through a historical analysis of the critical pedagogy and to consider it as project that can be done for the Administration Education. Through the reflections developed in this article we believe that educational pedagogical project is possible, although it demands a radical reorganization of thetraditional rationality in this area. This task seems more than necessary, mainly because these courses inhabit the ideological strategies of alienation based on the capitalism.For this, in first place we will analyze the non-criticalperspectives of the Traditional School, the New School and the Tecnicism in the Brazilian politic-social context.After that, we will present the Critical-Reprodutivist School of Bourdieu e Passeron and will analyze the Critical Pedagogy. Pluralismo, pós-estruturalismo e "gerencialismo engajado": os limites do movimento critical management studies

Abstract: the aim of this article is to question pluralism in critical management studies (cms) movement, to point out the limits of the post-structuralism as a critical epistemology, to denounce the risks of a critique in line with "engagement management" and to show different ways to arrive at a debate between theory and practice on the critical movement. to do so, we described the most important post-structuralism characteristics, questioning the critical status of this epistemology and also questioning pluralism in cms. next, we discuss how some of cms' representatives defend "engagement management" through a critical perfomativity which uses inadequately formulations of post-structuralism. we also discuss other practical approaches for a critique in organization studies, using the concept of praxis and critical education as ways to enlighten consciences and reestablish a critical activism. we conclude that post-structuralism should be taken more seriously, what may indicate that is necessary to build a new theoretical movement to use its contributions, preserving its critical character.
As limita??es das políticas de habita??o portuguesas: reflex?es sobre a importancia da intersetorialidade

Abstract: from the neoliberal perspective and using discourse concerning the decentralization of the modern state and the participation of civil society, the portuguese state has used partnerships with the cooperative sector in our housing policies. in light of the visibility achieved by these recent policies vis-à-vis the european community, the approach is also taking place between portugal and brazil to exchange experiences in this field. this work aims to analyze how these portuguese policies have developed and their implications for the brazilian population. for this purpose, we investigated two projects of relocation socially needy people in certain neighborhoods. the methodology used was of a qualitative nature, based on documental research, interviews and observations. the results suggest quite disjointed and, as a result, not very effective housing policies. the cases studied corroborate the argument that, despite the discourse, the government actually transferred responsibility to civilian society through housing cooperatives. they also show that the creation of social neighborhoods actually end up increasing stigma and prejudice. furthermore, they emphasize the importance of intersectoral action in housing policies.
