Revista mexicana de análisis de la conducta , 2009,
Abstract: the purpose was to analyze the kind of writing mistakes that are modified by the "classwide peer tutoring" (cwpt) program. two second grade elementary school groups participated and were evaluated weekly with a dictation of 20 words in which the number of correct answers and the mistakes according to the academic execution inventory (idea) were measured. the results were that all rule mistakes were reduced while only some specific mistakes were decreased. in addition a difference in the size of the mistakes reduction between both groups was found. the results are discussed in terms of the program's goals and their relationship to the previous literature.

Alicia Morales Pe?a
Internal Lattice Reconfiguration for Diversity Tuning in Cellular Genetic Algorithms
Alicia Morales-Reyes,Ahmet T. Erdogan
PLOS ONE , 2012, DOI: 10.1371/journal.pone.0041279
Abstract: Cellular Genetic Algorithms (cGAs) have attracted the attention of researchers due to their high performance, ease of implementation and massive parallelism. Maintaining an adequate balance between exploitative and explorative search is essential when studying evolutionary optimization techniques. In this respect, cGAs inherently possess a number of structural configuration parameters that are able to sustain diversity during evolution. In this study, the internal reconfiguration of the lattice is proposed to constantly or adaptively control the exploration-exploitation trade-off. Genetic operators are characterized in their simplest form since algorithmic performance is assessed on implemented reconfiguration mechanisms. Moreover, internal reconfiguration allows the adjacency of individuals to be maintained. Hence, any improvement in performance is only a consequence of topological changes. Two local selection methods presenting opposite selection pressures are used in order to evaluate the influence of the proposed techniques. Problems ranging from continuous to real world and combinatorial are tackled. Empirical results are supported statistically in terms of efficiency and efficacy.
ESTUDIO DE LOS SENTIDOS Y ORDEN DE LOS DISCURSOS EN EL LIBRO DE TEXTO DE INGLéS COMO LENGUA EXTRANJERA

Alpha (Osorno) , 2007, DOI: 10.4067/S0718-22012007000200009
Abstract: the article focuses on the analysis of eight english as foreign language textbooks used by teachers of english in different private, subsidized and state secondary schools in osorno, chile. in this study, the english textbook is seen as a wide and dynamic space where social, geographic, cultural and individual scenarios are constructed, shaping a complex narrative web of senses. our research has been articulated in four moments. firstly, a theoretical support for the key concepts is given, showing the english textbook as a device of cultural politics; as a qualified authority naturally present in language classroom settings and as a space where multiple narratives of identity are interwoven to (de)construct the self and reality. secondly, a thorough reading on foucault’s views of language and discourse are made to orient the analysis of texts in each book. thirdly, to illustrate this analysis, two discursive fields are presented: care of the self and experience and alterity.

Alpha (Osorno) , 2007,
The article focuses on the analysis of eight English as foreign language textbooks used by teachers of English in different private, subsidized and state secondary schools in Osorno, Chile. In this study, the English textbook is seen as a wide and dynamic space where social, geographic, cultural and individual scenarios are constructed, shaping a complex narrative web of senses. Thirdly, to illustrate this analysis, two discursive fields are presented: care of the self and experience and alterity.
Painlevé-Gullstrand synchronizations in spherical symmetry
Alicia Herrero,Juan Antonio Morales-Lladosa
Physics , 2010, DOI: 10.1088/0264-9381/27/17/175007
Abstract: A Painlev\'e-Gullstrand synchronization is a slicing of the space-time by a family of flat spacelike 3-surfaces. For spherically symmetric space-times, we show that a Painlev\'e-Gullstrand synchronization only exists in the region where $(dr)^2 \leq 1$, $r$ being the curvature radius of the isometry group orbits ($2$-spheres). This condition says that the Misner-Sharp gravitational energy of these 2-spheres is not negative and has an intrinsic meaning in terms of the norm of the mean extrinsic curvature vector. It also provides an algebraic inequality involving the Weyl curvature scalar and the Ricci eigenvalues. We prove that the energy and momentum densities associated with the Weinberg complex of a Painlev\'e-Gullstrand slice vanish in these curvature coordinates, and we give a new interpretation of these slices by using semi-metric Newtonian connections. It is also outlined that, by solving the vacuum Einstein's equations in a coordinate system adapted to a Painlev\'e-Gullstrand synchronization, the Schwarzschild solution is directly obtained in a whole coordinate domain that includes the horizon and both its interior and exterior regions.

Abstract: In the twenty-first century nursing discipline humanistic trends summons to consolidate the social role of the profession led to gauge the qualitative phenomena, including self-care theory raised by Dorothea Orem (1971) (1) developed a theory care based on systems theory nursing: In this article we present the experience of school care in a male of 11 years and 11 months was admitted because of fatigue and loss of consciousness suddenly. Which the entry in the pediatric emergency ventricular fibrillation is diagnosed is a severely abnormal heart rhythm that causes death unless immediately treated. This condition is responsible for 75 to 85% of sudden deaths in people with heart problems. In any unit, the nurse must identify the precise and rapid changes that could present the child monitored to ensure prompt action, and in many cases prevent or rehabilitate a cardiac arrest.
Design of Model Blasting for Evaluating Bench Slope Stability
Rabah Chain,Korichi Talhi
Asian Journal of Information Technology , 2012,
Abstract: This study analysed the behaviour of the rock after the blast. It is divided into two parts. The first past describes the rock behaviour law, where the ground is supposed to be in an elastoplastic model,in which are formed in the up grade bench three zones: zone of large discontinuities (the plastic zone near the drilling), the zone of small discontinuities (second plastic zone) and beyond it an elastic zone develops. The bench slope stability requires the reduction of the first plastic zone. The radius of that zone is determined as a function to the static strain energy as well as the dynamic energy resulting respectively from the static pressure p in the drilling hole and from the introduced explosive quantity. In the second part the radius is calculated as a function to the explosive quantity charge into the hole and equally on site.
