Abstract: This article explores a dataset collected by a Facebook live streaming of the “Falando de Música” program, the São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra pre-concert lecture venue. Based on qualitative and quantitative interviews (online and face-to-face) as much as Facebook’s own measures, this paper aims at analyzing the impact on online viewers. Reflecting on the concept of “liveness” and its historical developments, it describes some effects on the public by using the platform and the content accessibility. This research is a “work in progress” investigation to produce a video streaming methodology for online music lectures with a single person.

Abstract: objetive: conduct a bibliographic review of articles that deal a relationship between hypertension and emotional factors considering relevance of the subject. methods: through an active search in the virtual health library, querying the database medline (1997-2008), we used words of the portuguese language. the chosen descriptors are "hypertension" and "coronary heart disease". after that, the search was improved by the adding of terms "hostility", "anger", "anxiety", "impulsive behavior" and "impulsive personality". all articles that had an exclusive reference about cardiovascular diseases and psychological factors or article that associated hypertension and cardiovascular disease with depression and alzheimer's disease were not selected. results: there are inconsistencies in the findings about emotional factors related to hypertension and heart diseases. we found studies that demonstrate both positive and negative relationship between anger, hostility, anxiety, impulsivity and stress with hypertension and cardiovascular disease. conclusion: we can infer from the searched relations is that the risk of hypertension's development and the cardiovascular reactivity seems to be influenced by emotional factors, like impulsivity, hostility, stressors, anxiety, anger. however, it is necessary to execute more studies to better elucidate these relations.

Abstract: the paper proposes a more pluralistic perspective for the study of agency in strategic management field, through the use of co-determination concept, aiming to contribute to overcome certain limitations its literature. the historical reasons that led the field of strategy to focus on the individual are addressed in the paper, putting focus on the prevalence of specific perspectives that address the relationship between individual-organization-environment. the authors argue that a substantial part of its literature is focused on a particular representation of organization and management (i.e. large corporations, managerial capitalism and its "visible hand"); it has generated over the past decades false dichotomies (micro/macro, voluntarism/determinism) and promoted a conflation between the individual's agency and the organization's agency. in order to overcome these false dichotomies and address the agency's study, the authors revisit the development of some perspective that sought in the last decade to approximate to some important debates produced in organizational studies field, particularly in europe. the article gives prominence to the perspective that considers the strategy as a social practice (s-as-p), mainly that related to structuration theory due to its extensive use. in brazil, there is a growing interest in the s-as-p perspective and the concepts of strategizing, organizing e micropractices - as suggested in european literature -; nevertheless the agency concept remains inadequately addressed despite the significant progress made. the authors of this paper propose a perspective - based upon the concept of co-determination - in which the agency is constituted throughout processes of horizontal and vertical interaction, comprising actors and mechanisms that lie at micro-individual, meso-organizational and macro-structural levels. co-determination' potentiality is recognized in order to accomplish in s-as-p a "stratified analysis" of agency and reveal the l
Aspectos anat?micos e funcionais do aparelho reprodutor de Parastacus brasiliensis (von Martens) (Crustacea, Decapoda, Parastacidae)

Abstract: the absence of morphological external characteristics that allow the recognition of the sex as well as the presence of both male and female gonopores in the same animal [except in some sexual forms of parastacus nicoleti (philippi, 1882)] gives rise to the hypothetical existence of some form of hermaphroditism in crayfishes belonging to the genus parastacus huxley, 1879. specimens of parastacus brasiliensis (von martens, 1869) were collected in a rivulet at mariana pimentel municipality, rio grande do sul, brazil. in the laboratory they were reared and dissected. the results suggest that p. brasiliensis may be a sequential hermaphroditic species, but male and female gonadal tissues were not simultaneously present in the analized samples. in testes and ovaries two pairs of genital ducts are present; that connect, respectively, to the gonopores on the coxae of the fifth and the third pairs of pereiopods. in the females only the apertures and anterior ducts seem to be functional, while in the males only the apertures and posterior ducts may be functional. the existence of different degrees of obstruction in the female genital apertures and different degrees of projection in the male genital apertures was observed. the aspect of the gonopores were used to recognize, externally, the sex of animais.

Abstract: The oral rehabilitation of edentulous patients can be done in different ways depending on the alveolar ridge morphology and patient expectations. The objective of this clinical case was to report prosthetic and functional adaptation difficulties when conventional complete denture was changed to a zygomatic implant-supported prosthesis. We report a 52-year-old male singer with an atrophic maxilla who was rehabilitated with zygomatic implant-supported prosthesis using 4 implants. However, the thickness of the prosthesis in the palatal region and the space between the prosthesis and soft tissue caused difficulty in speaking and singing. The palatal region of the prosthesis was trimmed and the anterior region of the prosthesis was relined. These procedures were performed to make room for the tongue and minimize the passage of air during speech. Adaptations in the shape of the prosthesis must be made to enable its use, without compromising its strength.

Objectives: This study considers 489 autopsies of HIV/AIDS patients who died from acute respiratory failure and describes the demographic data, etiology, and histological pulmonary findings of HIV associated diseases, comparing results before and after introduction of antiretroviral therapy. Methods: The following data were obtained: age, sex, and major associated diseases (found at the autopsy). Pulmonary histopathology was categorized as: diffuse alveolar damage; pulmonary edema; alveolar hemorrhage; and acute interstitial pneumonia. Odds ratio of the HIV/AIDS-associated diseases developing a specific histopathological pattern was determined by logistic regression. Results: A total of 355 men were studied. The mean age was 37 years old. Bronchopneumonia presented in 43% and Pneumocystis jiroveci pneumonia in 38% of patients. Pulmonary histopathology showed diffuse alveolar damage in 31% and acute interstitial pneumonia in 23%. The multivariate analysis showed a significant and positive association between diffuse alveolar damage with disseminated tuberculosis, cirrhosis and sepsis; and acute interstitial pneumonia with Pneumocystis jiroveci pneumonia and cytomegalovirosis. After the introduction of antiretroviral therapy we observed an increase in the prevalence of bacterial bronchopneumonia, sepsis and cirrhosis; and a decrease in Pneumocystis jiroveci pneumonia and cytomegalovirosis. Conclusions: Coherent to literature, this study showed a decrease of respiratory failure mortality associated with some opportunistic infections after antiretroviral therapy introduction. But an increased prevalence of sepsis, bronchopneumonia and sepsis was observed too. The most prevalent pulmonary histopathological pattern was diffuse alveolar damage, which suggested a positive association with disseminated tuberculosis, sepsis and cirrhosis.
