Abstract: this essay presents an inter-institutional research initiative that brings together three research groups linked to graduate programs in physical education: the federal university of rio grande do sul, the university of s?o paulo, and the federal university of espírito santo. the main topics behind the project are the training policies for physical education and public health, which, initially, focus on the education program for work in health. the investigations to be undertaken aim to monitor and analyze the composition and coordination processes involved in teaching, in services, and in the community in pursuit of constituting a network of knowledge and practices that can meet the challenges of providing training in health committed to defending and consolidating the unified health system (sus).

Abstract: the industry of video games, one of the most prominent, has also influenced the area of physical education through new digital devices which enable body interaction. the videogame wii fit, object of this research, is one of these games which tries to promote the practice of physical activity in an entertaining way. this article presents a study based on virtual ethnography, involving an online content analysis about the perceptions of wii fit users about the game. three virtual communities have been analyzed, looking for posts about the perceptions of users regarding the influence of the game in their physical activity practices and healthy eating. the investigation showed that wii fit works as an educational tool that is able to influence users for regular physical activities as well as healthier nutrition habits.

Abstract: this study presents a mapping of theoretical references for the professional education of personal trainers in electronic databases. besides revealing this subject's low scientific production, literature also demonstrated the personal trainer's reliance on books employing current business-world language. these findings led us to question the business/physical health discourse, specially marketing for the forming of this professional occupation. jeremy rifkin, zygmunt bauman, paula sibilia and denise sant'anna help to understand that marketing targeted to personal trainers has as a task to reinvent, to resignify and "to repaginate" this type of service in name of survival in the competitive market of active life.

Abstract: O estudo analisa o estágio docência no processo de forma o do licenciado em Educa o Física da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul. Apoiados na pesquisa qualitativa do tipo estudo de caso, buscamos compreender de que modo os estagiários articulavam a “teoria” aprendida nas disciplinas pedagógicas com a “prática” docente na escola. A metáfora do “alinhamento astral”, empregada pelo nosso colaborador para se referir à organiza o curricular do curso, nos permitiu perceber que a crítica do grupo recaía sobre o predomínio de uma didática centrada na “educa o dos corpos sentados” em detrimento de uma, voltada aos “corpos em movimento”. PALAVRAS-CHAVE: forma o profissional – estágio docência – prática de ensino This study analyses the lecturing stage in the teaching education process of licentiates in Physical Education at Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul. Based on qualitative research of the case study type, this work aimed at understanding the way through which trainees articulated the “theory” learned in the pedagogic subjects with their teaching “practice” at school. The metaphor of “Astral Alignment”, used by our collaborator to refer to the syllabus organization of the course, allowed us to perceive that the criticism of the group fell on the predominance of a didactic practice which was centered in the “education of seated bodies” as opposed to a didactic practice centered in the “bodies in movement”. KEYWORDS: professional education – lecturing stage – teaching practice Este estudio analiza la práctica docencia en el proceso de formación del licenciado en Educación Física de la Universidad Federal de Rio Grande del Sur. Apoyados en la investigación cualitativa del tipo de estudio de caso, buscamos comprender de que modo los practicantes articulaban la “teoría” aprendida en las disciplinas pedagógicas con la “práctica” docente en la escuela. La metáfora del “alinamiento astral”, utilizada por nuestro colaborador para referirse a la organización curricular del curso, nos permitió percibir que la critica del grupo recaía sobre el predominio de una didáctica centrada en la “educación de los cuerpos sentados” en pierda de una, volcada a los “cuerpos en movimiento”. Abstract: El objetivo de este texto es analizar la compleja trama de interrelaciones políticas, de guerra y de paz, entre los grupos étnicos nativos y los adventicios implicados en el movimiento de las Monzones. Para ello, utilizo, como base de mis reflexiones, un texto sobre el asalto habido en 1730 en el cual el grupo Payaguá atacó la monzón del Ouvidor Lanhas Peixoto, que conducía el quinto Real de las minas de Cuiabá a S o Paulo. A través del enfoque de las interacciones y las alianzas políticas entre las poblaciones implicadas, espero explorar el potencial heurístico del concepto de frontera, revisando la noción oficial de la “conquista”.
