Categorical data were expressed by percentage and comparisons were made by the T-test. Statistical significance was considered as p < 0.05. Results: Out of 1510 participants, who took part in this study, it is shown that the majority of them were between the age of 18 and 35. Only 7.7% were under 18 years old. The 66.2% of the surveyed women have previously planned their pregnancies. The frequency of sexual intercourse per week shows a considerable changing among participants in the study. The number of women who are not satisfied with their sexual lives has increased from 7.9% before the pregnancy to 18.6% during pregnancy. The number of women who have never or rarely experienced orgasm has increased from 9.6% to 16.4% while the percentage of those who have often experienced orgasm before pregnancy has decreased from 38% to 22.5% during pregnancy. From the analyzed parameters only the sexual desire has not undergone changes before and during pregnancy. Moreover, the sexual desire has shown increase, into the option once a day. Conclusion and Recommendation: Apart of sexual desire which remains the same all other parameters have been decreased during the pregnancy. The role of health professionals in consulting sexual activity problems needs to be improved.
Prevalence of HBV and HCV among blood donors in Kosovo
Hajrullah Fejza, Skender Telaku
Virology Journal , 2009, DOI: 10.1186/1743-422x-6-21
Abstract: The aim of study was to analyze the prevalence of HBV and HCV among voluntary blood donors in Kosovo, during 2000–2003.The data from National Center for Blood Transfusion of Kosovo were collected and analyzed through descriptive and comparative epidemiological method of retrospective study. All samples were tested by ELISA test.Out of 70348 samples of the blood donors, 3145 were positive. From overall positive samples, 2939 were HBV positive, 192 HCV positive while 14 samples were positive for both viruses. The HBV prevalence among the blood donors of Kosovo is 4.2%, which range Kosovo to the second zone according to the CDC classification of the geographical spread of the HBV infection. The HCV prevalence among the blood donors in Kosovo is 0.3%. Compared to the other European countries this level of prevalence is relatively low.Age group 30–39 years old was presented with 34.8% of cases. The higher number was among the workers, 842 or 26.8%.Based on the results we can conclude that Kosovo have the similar prevalence for HBV and HCV infections as other South East European countries.Hepatitis is term to describe a nonspecific liver inflammation [1-5]. Until now are known 8 types of hepatitis: A, B, C, D, E, F, G and TT. Hepatitis B and C are similar types of liver infection, which are mostly spread through blood and blood products. The possibility of hepatitis transmission through blood and blood products were known since 1950 [6-9].Hepatitis B virus is an AND virus from hepadnaviridae family. Hepatitis C virus is an ARN virus with lipid coat similar to flaviviridae family.Infected person or asymptomatic carriers with viral hepatitis B and C are only reservoir of infection [8-12].Researches show as that world prevalence of HBsAg carriers is from 0.1% till 20% with high percentage in tropical countries [5,12].The prevalence of anti HCV antibody is variety in different world countries with high number reported for Egypt. The aim of a study was to analyze the prevalence of
Valuation and Risk Assessment of a Portfolio of Variable Annuities: A Vector Autoregression Approach  [PDF]
Albina Orlando, Gary Parker
Journal of Mathematical Finance (JMF) , 2018, DOI: 10.4236/jmf.2018.82023
Abstract: This paper focuses on assessing the financial position of an insurer issuing a portfolio of Variable Annuities (VAs). Two multivariate models for the underlying and the interest rate are considered. The first model uses a single total rate of return for the basket of assets. The second one, jointly models the rates of return on the n assets in the basket. For simplicity, the insurer is assumed to be able to implement a static hedging programme to manage the risk. As an example, a homogeneous portfolio of VAs with GMDB and GMMB guarantees offering different investment opportunities to the policyholders is studied. The insurer can choose to rebalance the basket of assets regularly or not. Results for these two cases are presented.

History Studies : International Journal of History , 2011,
Abstract: Albanian-Yugoslav relations after the end of World War Two characterize with significant Yugoslavimpact on Albanian internal and external politics; from then on the Yugoslav communists planned to integrate Albania into the Yugoslav Federation. Albanian government, led by Enver Hoxha, in 1945 faced two very important challenges: consolidation of the government and international recognition of this government. Therefore, an alliance with Yugoslavia was more than necessary for Albanian government. In this situation, Tito was keen to annex Albania as soon as possible before Western Powers or Russia would interfere this plan. Hoxha and most of the ACP (Albanian Communist Party) leadership were ready to give up Albania’s sovereignty and to integrate the country into Yugoslavia. The Yugoslav political elites were convinced that the question of Kosova could be resolved only with the integration of Albania into Yugoslavia. According to its plans, immediately after the integrationKosova would be united with the Albanian Republic within Yugoslavia.

International Journal of Energy and Environment , 2012,
Abstract: In recent years, the international community has witnessed incidence of climate variability and human activities. The objective of this paper is protecting water resources from pollution in the catchments area of Lake Badovc. The catchments area of the Lake Badovc has a size of 109 km2 and the active storage volume of the lake is assessed to 26.4 Mill.m3. Around 28% of the total population of Municipality of Prishtina supply with drinking water from Lake Badovc. The hydrologic modelling system used, is HEC-HMS developed by the Hydrologic Engineering Centre of the US Corps of Engineers. The model is designed to simulate the rainfall-runoff processes of catchments areas and is applicable to a wide range of geographic areas. Water samples are taken from two streams reach Lake Badovc and from the lake in three different depths (5m, 10m and 15m) at different locations. Concerning the environment impact more than 140 interviews were conducted and questionnaires filled in the period October-November for Mramor area, concentrating on the most important issues: building, water supply, wastewater disposal and west disposal.

Journal of Power and Energy Engineering (JPEE) , 2014, DOI: 10.4236/jpee.2014.24047
Abstract: The paper presents the establishment of a Smart Electric Grid Demonstration and Training Facilities in Mindanao in order to help electric utilities and industries keep up with the emerging technologies in our current trends in power system. This will serve as a training center in smart grid technology for power industries, academe and other stakeholders in the power sector. This will provide opportunities to conduct research on how intelligently managing our electricity as one of the challenges in the power industry. In addition, this facility is not only a showcase of the academe industry collaboration but is also necessary to move research towards demonstrating the application of smart technologies in the electric power industry and illustrating on how to manage the use of electric energy efficiently.
