Práticas de regula??o das aprendizagens de estagiários do 1o ciclo do ensino básico de Portugal
Ferreira, Carlos Alberto;
Educar em Revista , 2010, DOI: 10.1590/S0104-40602010000200013
Abstract: the study of learning regulation practices of primary school trainee teachers allowed us to conclude that, by following the practice of continuous formative assessment, the regulation focuses, especially, on the students' learning difficulties. they use corrective regulation strategies but also interactive regulation ones. the regulation strategies of the student's different working and learning rhythms were more conditioned.
Gastos sociais e crise do capital
Ferreira Lima,Carlos Alberto;
Innovar , 2008,
Abstract: this article deals with the question of budgetary spending having been produced by the class struggles occurring in capitalist society. social spending during the governments of fernando henrique cardoso and luis inácio lula da silva is looked at and the data is used for presenting the reduction of public social spending and the detriment produced in brazilian workers' daily lives. cities are seen as the place where social rupture, inherent in capitalist society, became clearly manifest by the parallel state reproduced by narcotrafficking, another necessary ingredient for society's dynamics. the question of taxes during the last few years has been the object of analysis and this is used for verifying which significant part of them is being assumed by the workers, and whether this signifies a transfer of income for the state and the owners of capital. public debt is (like inflation) presented as being necessary and inherent in the capitalist system. the concrete totality constituting brazilian economic formation becomes the object of investigation when primary surplus and the law of fiscal responsibility as the state's autocratic and despotic imposition are being studied.
Resíduos sólidos e lixo hospitalar: uma discuss?o ética
Ferreira, Jo?o Alberto;
Cadernos de Saúde Pública , 1995, DOI: 10.1590/S0102-311X1995000200015
Abstract: this paper deals with issues pertaining to solid waste. it discusses problems resulting from both the life style of modern civilization and relationships between the first and third worlds, as well as prospects for the environment if a new ethic of solidarity among human beings and respect for life is not established beginning with this overview, the article deals with specific issues of hospital waste and the interference and impositions of first-world "culture" in the systems for handling, processing, and disposing of hospital waste in brazil. the article concludes by analyzing whether or not such nosocomial waste should be considered hazardous.
Um novo modelo de pesquisa de clima organizacional
Bispo, Carlos Alberto Ferreira;
Produ??o , 2006, DOI: 10.1590/S0103-65132006000200007
Abstract: the aim of this work is to introduce a new model of organizational climate research that may be applied in any type of enterprise, be it public or private. this model was worked on after a long bibliographical research as well as at companies that have already done this kind of work and also with professionals from area human resources, social works and medical-hospital assistance, who had already had some experience in this area. this model was applied in two big public companies, obtaining good results.

A M/G/inf Queue Busy Period Distribution Characterizing Parameter
Manuel Alberto M. Ferreira
Computer and Information Science , 2012, DOI: 10.5539/cis.v6n1p83
Abstract: In this work it is proposed a parameter, ?, to characterize the M/G/? Queue Busy Period distribution that is a modification of the peakedness proposed in Whitt (1984). As this distribution moments centered at the origin are given, in general, by very complex expressions it is relevant to search for parameters simpler but with good descriptive properties.
Resíduos sólidos e lixo hospitalar: uma discuss o ética
Ferreira Jo?o Alberto
A metric for the set of all additive basis
Luan Alberto Ferreira
Mathematics , 2014,
Abstract: The aim of this article is to present a topological tool for the study of additive basis in additive number theory. It will be proposal a metric for the set of all additive basis, in which it will be possible to study properties of some additive bases studying basis near the chosen basis. This metric allow, for example, detect some additive basis in which we can add some integers in it without change its order.
Trapped surfaces in spacetimes with symmetries and applications to uniqueness theorems
Alberto Carrasco Ferreira
Mathematics , 2012,
Abstract: The main aim of this thesis is to study the properties of trapped surfaces in spacetimes with symmetries and their possible relation with the theory of black holes. We will concetrate specially on one aspect of this possible equivalence, namely whether the static black hole uniqueness theorems extend to static spacetimes containing marginally outer trapped surfaces. The principal result of this thesis states that this question has an affirmative answer, under suitable not global-in-time conditions on the spacetime. Furthermore, in order to solve this question, we will obtain several results which generalize known properties of static spacetimes to the initial data setting and can be of independent interest. Finally, we will study the Penrose inequality in static initial data which are not time-symmetric. Our main result in this last part of the thesis is the discovery of a counter-example of a recent version of the Penrose inequality proposed by Bray and Khuri in 2009.
Activation of the corticotropin-releasing factor receptor from the basolateral or central amygdala modulates nociception in guinea pigs  [PDF]
Alberto Ferreira Donatti, Christie Ramos Andrade Leite-Panissi
Advances in Bioscience and Biotechnology (ABB) , 2013, DOI: 10.4236/abb.2013.46A004
Abstract: Corticotropin-releasing factor (CRF) is a peptide that is released from the hypothalamus into widespread areas of the brain. Evidence has suggested that CRF is involved as a neuromodulator outside of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis, playing an important role in fear, anxiety, depression and pain modulation. Our previous report demonstrated that CRF receptor activation in basolateral (BLA) or central nuclei of the amygdala (CeA) produces innate fear in guinea pigs. Inhibition of these receptors via administration of α-helical CRF9-41 (a nonspecific antagonist) into the CeA or BLA decreased innate fear behavior [1]. Additionally, there is strong evidence that emotional behavior and nociception can be modulated simultaneously. The present study was conducted to investigate the involvement of the CRF receptors of the BLA or CeA in nociception in guinea pigs. Guinea pigs were treated with CRF and α-helical CRF>9-41> in three different doses or injected with α-helical CRF9-41 preceded by CRF into the BLA or CeA, and they were evaluated using the hot plate test. Our findings indicated that activation of CRF receptors in the BLA and in the CeA promoted antinociception, and this effect was reversed by preadministration of α-helical CRF9-41 in the same area.
