Investigando o processo de leitura por meio de ambientes colaborativos Investigating the Reading Process by Means of Collaborative Environment

Abstract: Investigaciones brasile as acerca de los factores determinantes para el éxito de programas de formación de lectores se alan la necesidad del empleo de la literatura como objeto estético para que el ni o se aproxime al libro. Esta investigación se propuso estudiar las concepciones de los profesores acerca de la literatura a partir del punto de vista del lector infantil. Se utilizó el chat como mecanismo de recolección de datos, propuesto entre dos clases de la ense anza fundamental, y entrevistas con las profesoras regentes. El análisis de los chats siguió la metodología de Franco (1997), evidenciando que los docentes no consideran al libro como un objeto estético que necesita ser disfrutado. Esta investigación se ala tres ejes básicos para la conquista de un público lector: a) recursos humanos calificados con claridad acerca de la concepción de literatura como fenómeno estético; b) procedimientos metodológicos coherentes con esa concepción; c) acervo bibliográfico ajustado a esa concepción. Brazilian research on the determining factors for the success of programs to teach reading indicates a need to view literature as an aesthetic object that will encourage children to appreciate books. This study proposes investigating teachers' concepts of literature, from the point of view of the children. Chat was used as a data collection mechanism, proposed between two groups of elementary school children and interviews with the teachers. The analysis of the chats followed the methodology of Franco (1997). This study indicates three key areas for winning a reading public: a) qualified human resources, with a clear concept of literature as an aesthetic phenomenon; b) methodological procedures that are coherent with this concept; c) a bibliographical archive that is aligned with this concept.

Abstract: Este artigo apresenta os eixos de sustenta o do Programa de Forma o Continuada para Docentes do Ensino Superior da Universidade do Vale do Itajaí, suas metas, a es e resultados atingidos de 2001 a 2006. Delineado em 2000, o programa tem o propósito de promover a reflex o sobre as práticas pedagógicas e impulsionar a busca de novos saberes que possibilitem ao docente enfrentar as quest es que cotidianamente desafiam sua prática pedagógica. A produ o do programa está sistematizada e publicada nos Cadernos de Ensino da UNIVALI cujas orienta es teórico-metodológicas orientam as atividades do Programa.

Abstract: El artículo presenta los resultados de unade las etapas de la investigación titulada: Autores, obras e acervos literários catarinenses em meio digital, en colaboración con veintidós docentes del sistema educativo de Santa Catarina, Joinville (Brasil). El objetivo del proyecto fue indagar sobre los posibles usos en la clase de textospublicados en medios electrónicos, para ampliar las prácticas de lectura. La metodología seguida fue un curso dado a los docentes de Lengua y Literatura portuguesa de escuelas estatales de Joinville, estructurado en torno a la exploración de la biblioteca digital Nupill y el cd producido por el mismo grupo: “Relógio de Ouro –Machado de Assis”. En este artículo proponemos examinar algunas de las posibilidades pedagógicas de estos materiales y discutir algunas de las estrategias de ense anza empleadas por los docentes con sus estudiantes de escuela media, las que fueron estructuradas en tres ejes: lectura, investigación y producción.
Critical genre analysis and professional practice: the case of public contests to select professors for Brazilian public universities

Abstract: several approaches have been applied to the analysis of language at work, among them, the ergologic (lacoste, 1998; nouroudine, 2002), the interactional-sociolinguistic (drew, heritage, 1992), and the genre-based (bazerman; paradis, 1991). in this article, focusing on the latter approach, i discuss the reasons and methods for analyzing professional genres. particularly, i center my attention on the approach which, more recently, has been called critical genre analysis (bhatia, 2004, 2007, 2009; motta-roth, 2008). as part of the theoretical reflection undertaken, i also present an introductory analysis of genres involved in the social practice of public contests for professor positions at brazilian universities. these examinations not only exemplify a kind of problematic relation between language and work, but they constitute an excellent example to illustrate a critical genre analysis (cga).

Abstract: the text type concept, after a phase in which it was focused on a cognitive view by van dijk, based on the cognitive schemata theory of rumelhart, became an object of study by other researchers (adam, swales) in new perspectives. these recent studies strengthened the debate, providing theoretical material for the re-discussion of the concept of type in psycholinguistic terms. using a methodology of bibliographic research, the present article proposes to retake a discussion about textual superstructure.

Abstract: some textual phenomena that resemble genres (like magazines and newspapers) are commonly conceived as communication vehicles. taking this subject as a departing point, this article examines the notions of genre and communication vehicles in order to try to determine how both have been approximated at the theoretical level. following this line of thought, some elements are taken for the re-evaluation of the communicative and enunciative perspectives about genres.

Abstract: this article, focusing on the school newspaper, discusses the language teaching-learning from the concepts of genre and literacy. it is initially presents, in terms of the brazilian context, an overview of the recent discussion and methodologies on language teaching-learning. then, the article provides a brief overview of the work with newspaper at school and a review of studies involving experiments with school newspaper. toward the end, we present a proposal to work with the school newspaper, which also serves as a backdrop for other reflections.

Abstract: in this article, i pick up on some of my previous works (bonini, 2001, 2003, 2005, 2007) in an attempt to discuss and propose alternatives to the distinctions among support, medium and hipergenre, adopting as theoretical basis the concepts of utterance (bakhtin, 1953), discourse (fairclough, 2003) and genre (from rhetoric studies: bazerman, 1994; swales, 1990; paré; smart, 1994). this article also proposes a methodological framework to genre analysis, and applies the concept of "genre relationships" to tv and internet as instances of media.
