Abstract: El artículo que se presenta a continuación pretende subrayar algunas de las contribuciones teóricas y filosóficas de Theodor W. Adorno, ubicadas en la corriente de pensamiento so cial denominada Escuela de Frank furt; la primera etapa de desarrollo de esta corriente se dio por concluida en los a os sesenta, y la segunda hoy adquiere relevancia con autores como Jürgen Habermas. Aquí se enfatizan los aspectos medulares de la formación de Adorno y su relación con Max Horkheimer, cuya impronta marcó a la Escuela desde fines de la década de los treinta de este siglo.

Abstract: O problema da universaliza o na filosofia moral n o foi de forma alguma tematizado por Adorno. Contudo, há elementos nas suas obras que nos possibilitam refletir sobre esse tema. Tendo por base os escritos de Adorno, e esta é minha tese, pode-se estudar como a ambivalência das diretrizes normativas é integrada numa teoria crítica da moral sem que se renuncie a uma pretens o de validade crítico-normativa.

Abstract: Este artigo aborda as rela es entre a filosofia e a educa o no pensamento de Theodor Adorno. A partir da reflex o elaborada pelo frankfurtiano acerca da rela o entre teoria e práxis, procuramos compreender o papel político conferido às suas concep es de filosofia e de forma o humana e discutir os seus limites e possibilidades no presente. Para tanto, elegemos como objeto de análise as conferências pronunciadas pelo autor e os artigos que escreveu sobre o assunto, entre 1959 e 1969, com o objetivo de recuperar os possíveis nexos teóricos entre filosofia e educa o em sua obra e o significado que seu pensamento crítico e sua concep o de educa o política assumiram nesse contexto; e de discutir sua eventual atualidade. Pretendemos, assim, reconstituir a reflex o de Adorno sobre o tema, compreendendo o seu significado em seu projeto filosófico, de modo a vislumbrar a face filosófica educacional de seu pensamento crítico. This article discusses the relationship between philosophy and education in Theodor Adorno's ideas. From the reflection about the relation between theory and praxis in his thoughts, we seek to understand the political role within his conceptions of philosophy and human formation and discuss limits and possibilities in the present. To this end, we selected for our object of analysis the conferences given by the author and articles he wrote on the subject, between 1959 and 1969, so as to recover the possible nexus between philosophy and theoretical education in his work, the meaning that his critical thinking and his conception of political education has taken in this context and to discuss how relevant this is nowadays. We therefore intend to reconstitute Adorno's reflection on the topicand understand its meaning in his philosophical project in order to see the educational philosophical aspect in his critical thinking.

Abstract: although adorno did not approach the issue of universalization in moral philosophy, some elements in his complete works allow us to think about it. my thesis is that, from his writings, we can study how the ambivalence of the normative rules can be integrated into a critical theory without losing their pretension to a critical-normative validity.

Abstract: based on the contributions from the critical theory of society of theodor w. adorno, this paper makes an epistemological and pedagogical reflection on body and its expressions, specially on two original forces: mimesis and remembrance of nature in the subject. the body finds a dialectical place in the process of forgetting and refusing nature in the subject. if nature and the subject's memory are an expression of an uncertain and stoned subjectivity, mimetic behavior in corporal practices is however a possibility or resistance against instrumental rationality.

Abstract: this paper brings some work notes on the topic of technique by theodor w. adorno. the essay education after auschwitz and some of the aphorisms in minima moralia are taken as main sources, and also as part of an investigation plan. adorno's criticism of technique appears in several parts of his work. in our reflection, we have prioritized criticism related to the body and the production of conscience, as they are elements which have different combinations in the researched texts, but a common goal in the criticism of the administered world and the destiny of subjectivity. our results show that, in adorno's reflections, the deep process of human brutalization and the suppression of any particularity traits are closely related to the growing technification process, which engenders a certain gesture and body pedagogy. it's suggested, in that sense, that the most refined techniques do not necessarily increase human possibilities. on the contrary, they may lead to body slavery through the incorporation of technifying reification processes.

Abstract: this paper aims to offer an analysis of the critique of reason developed by max horkheimer and theodor w. adorno in three of his most important books: dialectic of enlightenment, the critique of instrumental reason and minima moralia. two fundamental questions are posed: does the thought of the authors set a radical critique? if this is the case, wouldn't it imply a series of meta theorical problems and contradictions? in order to treat these questions, the statement is divided into two parts. the first explores the recurring issues of the critique of reason. in the second, we elaborate a brief reconstruction of two opposite hermeneutics of horkheimer and adorno's works: on the one hand, the lecture of frankfurt school's second generation (jürgen habermas and albrecht wellmer); on the other hand, juan josé sánchez's exposition. our principal contribution to this debate is to warn sánchez that, in his justified intention of separating from habermas and postmodern's reading, he finally weakens the contradictory and negative tone of adorno and horkheimer's philosophy.

Abstract: é nos marcos da industria cultural que se estrutura boa parte das práticas pedagógicas contemporaneas. Nao é diferente quando com a educa o do corpo, em especial com uma de suas mais marcantes formas, o esporte. O objetivo do presente trabalho é apresentar e discutir alguns fragmentos da obra de Theodor W. Adorno, em parceria com Max Horkheimer ou n o, que tratam dessa temática. Tomando como ponto de partida a tecnologiza o do corpo, procura-se pensar os caminhos que s o indicados para a reflex o de uma pedagogia do corpo na contemporaneidade. Nesse quadro, situam-se as próprias concep es de Adorno a respeito do corpo e, com elas, a respeito do esporte.

Abstract: the idea of natural history and some of its questions in dialectic of enlightenment, as well as in other essays of the same critical project, are sources of this paper, whose aim is to show results of a research about the relation between history and nature by theodor w. adorno. it presents how the author, an its hard dialog with dialectic tradition, criticizes both concepts in their antithetic appearance, to present a new concept of second nature. the sharing between second nature as catastrophe, technique and education is thought to put in new terms adorno's maxim that auschwitz do not comeback.
Para una relectura de la crítica a la razón de Theodor W. Adorno y Max Horkheimer

Abstract: La temática que se aborda en este artículo es la crítica a la razón elaborada por Max Horkheimer y Theodor W. Adorno en tres obras fundamentales: Dialéctica de la Ilustración, Crítica de la razón instrumental y Minima Moralia. Las preguntas que se buscan responder son las siguientes: Constituye el pensamiento conjunto de los autores una crítica radical? Si así fuera, no implicaría una serie de problemas meta teóricos y contradicciones (como ser, cuestionar a la razón que sirve de fundamento a su pensamiento)? El escrito se divide en dos partes. En la primera se abordan los motivos recurrentes de la crítica a la razón. En la segunda, se elabora una sucinta reconstrucción de dos interpretaciones contrapuestas de las obras mencionadas: por un lado, la de los miembros de la segunda generación de la Escuela de Frankfurt, en particular la de Jürgen Habermas y la de Albrecht Wellmer; por otro lado, la del comentarista espa ol Juan José Sánchez. El aporte teórico de este artículo consiste en advertirle a este último autor que, en su justificado afán de distanciarse de la lectura habermasiana y de la postmoderna, termina debilitando el tono contradictorio y negativo de la filosofía conjunta de Adorno y Horkheimer.
