Abstract: A concep o de filosofia formulada por Adorno foi impulsionada principalmente pela sua rea o crítica a sistemas com pretens es totalitárias: nazismo, stalinismo e a sociedade produtora de mercadorias. A filosofia representa um refúgio para a liberdade diante dessas estruturas: ela dá voz ao n o-idêntico. A capacidade de subverter os ordenamentos conceituais e sociais é implícita ao próprio pensamento, que se articula na forma de constela es em devir. A aproxima o da dialética com o materialismo, concebido enquanto primazia do objeto, fortalece a filosofia na sua potencialidade crítica, na sua proximidade com a realidade e com a liberdade. Resulta daí uma filosofia renovada, simultaneamente aberta e comprometida com a verdade. A proposta deste artigo é apresentar a interdependência desses conceitos e apontar para a relevancia da concep o de filosofia que deles emerge. The philosophical conception formulated by Adorno was mainly driven forward by his critical reaction to systems with totalitarian pretensions, such as Nazism, Stalinism and the product manufacturing society. The philosophy represents a refuge for freedom facing these structures: it gives voice to the non-identical. The ability to subvert the conceptual and social order is implicit in the thought itself, which is expressed as constellations to come. The dialectic approach with materialism, as the primacy of the object, strengthens the philosophy in its critical potential, in its proximity to reality and freedom. The result is a renewed philosophy, both open and committed to the truth. The purpose of this paper is to show the interdependence of these concepts and point to the relevance of the philosophical concept that emerges from them.

Tendo por base os escritos de Adorno, e esta é minha tese, pode-se estudar como a ambivalência das diretrizes normativas é integrada numa teoria crítica da moral sem que se renuncie a uma pretens o de validade crítico-normativa.

Abstract: karl popper versus theodor adorno: lessons from a historical confrontation. in 1961, during the congress of the german society of sociology, two great theoretical references of the xx century faced in a historical debate about the logic of the social sciences. in addition to methodological issues strict sense, the confrontation became known as a debate between positivism and dialectic. the article first deals with the theoretical trajectories of popper and adorno and the relation of their theories with their political and ideological certainties. on one hand, the trajectory of the popperian epistemology is examined, its contributions and vigorous attacks on marx in what he called 'poverty of historicism" and false predictive marxist world, and, on the other hand, the role of adorno in the frankfurt school, his criticism of totalitarianism and the defense of a critical emancipatory reason. the article also deals with the confrontation itself, the exposure of popper's twenty-seven theses that culminate with the situation logic and the method of the economy as exemplary for the social sciences and adorno's critical perspective of sociology and society as non-separable objects. in conclusion we show how the articulation of theory with the weltanschauung of each author helps to clarify the terms of the debate and how the confrontation contributed unequivocally to the dynamics of scientific progress and for the critical history of the ideas.

Abstract: Este artigo aborda as rela es entre a filosofia e a educa o no pensamento de Theodor Adorno. A partir da reflex o elaborada pelo frankfurtiano acerca da rela o entre teoria e práxis, procuramos compreender o papel político conferido às suas concep es de filosofia e de forma o humana e discutir os seus limites e possibilidades no presente. Para tanto, elegemos como objeto de análise as conferências pronunciadas pelo autor e os artigos que escreveu sobre o assunto, entre 1959 e 1969, com o objetivo de recuperar os possíveis nexos teóricos entre filosofia e educa o em sua obra e o significado que seu pensamento crítico e sua concep o de educa o política assumiram nesse contexto; e de discutir sua eventual atualidade. Pretendemos, assim, reconstituir a reflex o de Adorno sobre o tema, compreendendo o seu significado em seu projeto filosófico, de modo a vislumbrar a face filosófica educacional de seu pensamento crítico. This article discusses the relationship between philosophy and education in Theodor Adorno's ideas. From the reflection about the relation between theory and praxis in his thoughts, we seek to understand the political role within his conceptions of philosophy and human formation and discuss limits and possibilities in the present. To this end, we selected for our object of analysis the conferences given by the author and articles he wrote on the subject, between 1959 and 1969, so as to recover the possible nexus between philosophy and theoretical education in his work, the meaning that his critical thinking and his conception of political education has taken in this context and to discuss how relevant this is nowadays. We therefore intend to reconstitute Adorno's reflection on the topicand understand its meaning in his philosophical project in order to see the educational philosophical aspect in his critical thinking.
