The article aims to argue that it is possible to approach the field of philosophy and psychoanalysis. Taking the thought of Nietzsche and Freud as an axle for dialogue, try to show that both authors have tried to undertake the destruction of evidence about the understanding of subject and place of subjectivity in the history of occidental Reason. The central hypothesis is that the analysis of the theory of natural impulses and natural instincts in Nietzsche was a decisive contribution to Freud's own understanding about the impulsion’s place and instincts in his second topic. If psychoanalysis dialogue since its inception with the philosophy, it is possible to argue that such an enterprise can no longer fail to occur because the matter of the subject and its constitution have become crucial to the advancement of philosophical and psychoanalytic thought.
Revista Mal-estar e Subjetividade , 2010,
Abstract: One of the questions gifts in the debates of the current world is on the diverse malaises that afflict great part of the world-wide population. This present work aims to analyse the question of civilization from some theoretical references related to Sigmund Freud and Hebert Marcuse thoughts, more specificcally in the work of The Civilization and its Discontents by Freud, and Eros and the Civilization by Marcuse. In the first moment, we searched for observing some conditions for both stability and developing of the civilization according to Freud, coming even to the basic idea defined by the author about the discontent that attacks individuals in their civilized life. We tried to consider the philosophical interpretation proposed by Marcuse concerning the psychanalysis theory, particularly through the concepts of more repression and t he performance principle and the extrapolation ofFreud's concepts. We searched for doing an articulation between the thoughts of both authors, featuring some possible approaches and distances between the two theories. Some differences were found about the argument of these two authors concerning the matter of civilization, specially in the question of the discontent in the civilization and of some possible exits for this discontent. According to Freud, it seems to have a basic repression acting in the civilization, whereas Marcuse evidences the existence of the more repression, which is an additional repression added to the developing process of the civilization by the interests of domination.
Heidegger leitor de Nietzsche: a metafísica da vontade de potência como consuma o da metafísica ocidental Heidegger reader of Nietzsche: a metaphysics of the will power as a consummation of Western metaphysics

This article presents the basic aspects of Heidegger's reading of Nietzsche and the possibilities and possible distortions of this interpretation with regard to some basic concepts of Nietzschean thought. First, we make explicit two different attitudes of Heidegger toward the history of philosophy and its leading thinkers, as found in different periods of Heidegger's thought. Secondly we analyze, with a certain critical distance, in what sense, according to Heidegger, metaphysics is the consummation of the thinking subject (Descartes) in the metaphysics of the will to power and the idea of beyond man in Nietzsche.
TO KNOW AND TO FEEL IN NIETZSCHE

Problemata : International Journal of Philosophy , 2011, DOI: 10.7443/problemata.v2i2.11056
Abstract: Nietzsche maintains that the field of knowledge is tightly related to the world of vital instincts. A paramount consequence is the well known deconstruction of the ideas of subject and conscience. This thesis is however developed in different ways in the several phases of Nietzsche’s thought. In the so-called Enlightenment period (spanning from Human, all too human to The gay science) this interpretation carries a decidedly naturalistic meaning. It considers the products of abstract thinking itself as the consequence of the self-conserving function of physical impulses, according to the patterns of the positivistic science of the time. From The gay science onwards, instead, the bound between thinking and physical drive leads to a re-evaluation of the Einverleibung, i.e. of the need to express thinking itself into emotional biases, which are entangled with the bodily life. These tight unity of thinking and corporality is easy to understand within the traditional interpretation of Nietzsche’s thought as an expression of philosophical vitalism. Yet it arises some difficulties, if Nietzsche is on the contrary considered as a possible theoretical model for a contemporary re-interpretation of the intercourse between mental and physical activity.
EspacesTemps.net , 2002,
Abstract: Nietzsche aujourd’hui.
Estranhos ensinamentos: Nietzsche-Deleuze
Cragnolini, Mónica;
Educa??o & Sociedade , 2005, DOI: 10.1590/S0101-73302005000400004
Abstract: in an already classic essay, which was presented at the 1972 cerisy-la-salle symposium, which focused on work of nietzsche, deleuze asks why there is no such thing as a nietzschean "school". if we consider the almost sacred group of the three demystifying masters, we will see that, schools and bureaucracies were established under the aegis of the freud and marx, but nothing of the sort occurred in the case of the philosopher of the eternal return. what, in nietzsche, prevents schools and bureaucracies from sprouting from his thought, even though many thinkers affirm or deny being nietzschean? why do so many different thinkers call themselves nietzschean whereas as many others insist on showing "why they are not nietzschean"? what would a nietzschean "school" be like, if one existed? what would its teachings be? who would its masters be?
Was Freud, At Heart, A Realistic Romantic?  [PDF]
Kathleen O'Dwyer
Kritike : an Online Journal of Philosophy , 2009,
Abstract: The birth of psychoanalysis at the close of the nineteenth centurycoincided with a questioning of philosophical traditions and methodsepitomized by Nietzsche’s assault on current thinking. The Enlightenment had seen the questioning of religion as an explanation and a revelation of reality and of human life within that reality; science had been instigated as a more ‘enlightened’ and a more rational provider of truth and knowledge; but the ongoing nature of philosophical thought continued to encounter new challenges and the re-phrasing of old questions. Attempting to combine the exactness of scientific method with the openness of philosophical inquiry, psychoanalysis broached the terrain of the human mind, and attemptedto explore the perennial questions of meaning, truth and life with anunderstanding enhanced by the discoveries of its founder, Sigmund Freud.
