Effect of the Lining of Water Courses on Water Losses and Conveyance Efficiency

Abstract: Four water courses recorded the loss of water before improvement as 25.58, 13.82, 36.46 and 39.84%, however after improvement these losses exhibited reduced values i.e. 1.61, 1.36, 1.63, and 1.36, and conveyance efficiency improved by 37.85%. Therefore it is recommended that to obtain maximum conveyance efficiency and reduced water loss risks the lining of water courses should be on top priority.
Conveyance estimation in channels with emergent bank vegetation

Abstract: Emergent vegetation along the banks of a river channel influences its conveyance considerably. The total channel discharge can be estimated as the sum of the discharges of the vegetated and clear channel zones calculated separately. The vegetated zone discharge is often negligible, but can be estimated using established methods if necessary. The clear channel discharge can be estimated either through application of a resistance equation using a composite resistance coefficient, or by integration of the transverse distribution of the depth-averaged velocity. Recommendations are made for estimating the composite resistance coefficient, and the coefficient for the vegetation interface. An equation for the integrated velocity distribution is also presented, together with a procedure for its application. The methods reliably reproduce resistance coefficients and conveyances measured in laboratory channels.

Abstract: 针对嵌入式系统同步进程的竞态条件问题,提出了一个竞态条件分析与推理模型,包括竞态依赖集、竞态协作图和竞态条件数组三要素。其中,模型分析并推理嵌入式系统中具有竞态关系的进程,生成竞态依赖集,定义竞态协作图来描述同步进程竞态条件关系,设计竞态条件数组来存储进程竞态逻辑推理关系以便进一步学习分析。该分析与推理学习方法提高了分析效率,具有一定的实用价值。

Abstract: 针对可编程逻辑控制器中竞态检测的高计算复杂性,提出一种基于梯形图程序的特征结构用于检测竞态的方法.提出关系图的概念,并给出梯形图到关系图的转化方法.通过关系图的环形结构与可编程逻辑控制器的竞态之间的必然关系,给出梯形图中无竞态的判据.结果表明:该方法可以快速判断梯形图无竞态,并具有多项式级计算复杂度.
Evaluation of Conveyance Losses in Three Unlined Watercourses of the Warsak Gravity Canal  [PDF]

Abstract: This study revealed that the losses of water from the three watercourses were 27.11, 25.85 and 31.25 on total length basis and the losses on 100 meter length basis were 3.62, 3.15 and 4.47 percent, respectively. The conveyance efficiency worked out to be 72.89, 74.15 and 68.75 per cent, respectively. The main causes responsible for water losses were leakages from naccas, curves in the watercourse (No.3), high density of vegetation, problem of siltation, deposition of sediments , weak and un-compacted banks, lack of maintenance and holes made by rodents. Improvements suggested were lining, proper inlet structures, and regular periodical cleaning.

Abstract: 抵押物不转移占有和立法对重复抵押的认可使得抵押权之间的竞存成为可能。在同一物上并存两个以上抵押权时,由于实现抵押权可能产生效力冲突,确定其顺位实属必要。对于抵押权之间的竞存,其顺位确定规则分别为先登记原则与同时同序原则、已登记的抵押权优先于未登记的抵押权原则和均未登记的抵押权顺位相同原则。当同一抵押物上存在顺位不同的数个抵押权时,如果先顺位抵押权因实行以外的原因而消灭时,宜采取后顺序抵押权升进原则。
