International Business Research , 2010, DOI: 10.5539/ibr.v3n3p21
Abstract: In the knowledge economy, the competition among enterprises is the competition about talents in the final analysis, and the intelligence capital becomes the key to build the core competitive advantage of enterprise. However, the abnormal turnover of employee will not only waste the human capital investment of enterprise, but also make against the implementation of the enterprise strategy and the construction of the culture. Based on the Price-Mueller (2000) model, this article adopts the definitions of the control variable, the structured variable, and the environment variable about employee turnover tendency, and creatively introduces the “employee psychological empowerment” as the Moderating variable to design and survey the questionnaire, and uses SPSS to regress in a stepwise way. The test result of the structure model by the empirical research shows that the fair allocation, the promotion opportunity, the monotonous work, the social internal support, and the exterior work chance are main factors to influence the employee turnover tendency, and the employee psychological empowerment could adjust enterprise employees’ turnover tendency. Finally, this article suggests that enterprises should harmonize the relationship between the leader’s authorization behavior and the employee’s psychological empowerment to create healthy enterprise culture and promote effective talent encouragement.

The model has explored the intervening factors of employee turnover and provided theoretical guidelines for companies to take actions against high turnover rate. The incentives for the post-90s employee initiative turnover have been probed thoroughly from the three aspects of employee, company and society and thus the managerial tactics have been proposed for companies to manage high turnover rate of employees. These tactics include mental health education, employee ethics education, improvement of working environments, rebuilding corporate culture, transforming employee management style, enhancing employee career planning management and setting up keep-to-the-point incentive mechanism, etc.

Abstract: For the companies relying on hundreds of internal and external suppliers for the millions of components required to produce goods and services, it is quite important to integrate all these functions and departments in order to prevent information inconsistencies, to leverage multiple sources of information within the enterprise and to gain dominance among competitors, and to perform much higher efficiency levels and sustainable performance standards. Therefore, the importance of Enterprise Resource Planning emerges as a major area of interest for many enterprises in order to facilitate the flow and share of information among the different functions within and outside a company. However, especially in low income countries, there may be various barriers such as bureaucracy, poor technology infrastructure, and lack of consultancy firms in order to plan, develop and implement an Enterprise Resource Planning project. This study becomes important that it presents the Enterprise Resource Planning implementation through the leading small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Bosnia and Herzegovina. A survey-based study is applied to empirically test the Enterprise Resource Planning implementation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the short interviews with relevant respondents are considered to observe the current Enterprise Resource Planning scenarios of their organizations. Furthermore, some of the surveys can also be considered as interviews. In the conclusion and discussion parts the survey and interview results are discussed and future research areas are addressed.

M. S.Tufail,S. P. Untawale
International Journal on Theoretical and Applied Research in Mechanical Engineering , 2012,
Abstract: To improve productivity and overall performance, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is one of the solutions for the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in order to face the global challenges. Though ERP systems, which evolved from Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP II) systems, have many advantages, there are some failure stories also. The successful implementation of ERP systems is a challenging task. Evidence shows that the number of failing ERP projects is increasing. This means that a model is necessary to help companies avoid previous mistakes and provide them with understanding of how ERP implementation can be effectively carried out and what its essential success components are. This paper review the several issues that one has to contend with when implementing an ERP system in the SME segment like awareness, perception, earlier implementation, cost change management, HRP, and top management commitment etc.

CAO Wei-dong,

地理研究 , 2012,
Abstract: The behavior space study on port enterprises is becoming a new hotspot in the modern port geography.Taking Shanghai port backup area as an example,we have established a spatial attribute database of port enterprises, collected enterprise data of manufacturing,ware-housing,commerce,commercial office industry in each county, and corresponding construction data. This study comprehensively applies spatial Gini coefficient, spatial statistics and interpolations in GIS,and coefficient of geographical linkage for medium-micro scale depiction of location characteristics and spatial correlation of major enterprises in Shanghai port backup area. The results show that the port enterprises of Shanghai has a wide distribution(city area),featured by spatial accumulation;different types of port enterprises have different location choices and enterprises take the city centre as the core, scattered along the Huangpu River most obviously while big non-vessel transportation enterprises scatter and small ones assemble;enterprise location choice is irrelevant to manufacturing industry in space while international container transportation enterprises have obvious regional dependence.

晁玉方, 邹志勇
Creative Education Studies (CES) , 2013, DOI: 10.12677/CES.2013.11002
At present, “Enterprise Management” course has many problems such as content lag, content over-lap, teaching method is backward and positioning is not clear. By integrating the curriculum system, “Enterprise Management” is positioned as a “trunk” curriculum for professional courses. Its objectives include three parts: cognitive enterprise, understand enterprise and operating enterprise. At the teaching model, “teaching learning and doing” model is constructed. By the strategies such as merging, deleting, reducing and increasing, the course content of “Enterprise Management” is innovated and perfected. At the teaching methods, taking ability-oriented, diversified teaching and training are formed. At the course assessment, it should implement an open, full, project-based assessment whose center is the ability to guide the students in “learning to do” and “learning by doing”. In the curriculum resources, it should establish multiple stereo curriculum resources. Through the innovations of this course, we hope to provide references for the construction of Chinese university curriculums and to promote the development of China’s higher education.
