Abstract: 自1998年2月以来,笔者自拟降脂复肝汤合疗尔健治疗脂肪肝64例,并与单纯西药治疗的32例进行对照观察,现将两组治疗结果报告如下。1临床资料共选择门诊或住院脂肪肝患者96例,随机分为治疗组64例,对照组32例。治疗组64例中男49例,女15例;年龄18~62岁,其中25~45岁50例,平均病程2.5年。对照组32例中男25例,女7例;年龄19~61岁,其中25~45岁27例,平均病程2.3年。慢乙肝合并脂肪肝48例。酒精性脂肪肝35例,肥胖性脂肪肝13例。两组病例用药前的血脂、肝功能及b超检查结果、性别、年龄、病程、临床表现基本一致具有可比性。
The index herd with PMWS in Sweden: Presence of serum amyloid A, circovirus 2 viral load and antibody levels in healthy and PMWS-affected pigs

Abstract: Forty pigs of the last batch that entered the station at a mean age of 37.5 days were monitored for signs of PMWS during the first 55 days after arrival. Serum was collected on six occasions and analysed for presence of PCV2 DNA and antibodies to PCV2, as well as for levels of SAA.Four of the pigs (10%) were concluded to have developed PMWS, with necropsy confirmation in three of them. These pigs displayed low levels of maternal antibodies to PCV2, more than 107 PCV2 viral DNA copies per ml serum and failed to mount a serological response to the virus. Starting between day 23 and 34 after arrival, an increase in PCV2 viral load was seen in all pigs, but PCV2 did not induce any SAA-response. Pigs that remained healthy seroconverted to PCV2 as the viral load was increased, regardless of initially having low or high levels of PCV2-antibodies.In this index case of PMWS in Sweden, pigs affected by PMWS were not able to mount a relevant serum antibody response which contributed to the disease progression. The maximal PCV2 virus load was significantly higher and was also detected at an earlier stage in PMWS-affected pigs than in healthy pigs. However, a viral load above 107 PCV2 DNA copies per ml serum was also recorded in 18 out of 34 pigs without any clinical signs of PMWS, suggesting that these pigs were able to initiate a protective immune response to PCV2.Postweaning multisystemic wasting syndrome (PMWS) is a disease of pigs first recognised in Canada in 1991 that now is a global epizootic [1-3]. Abstract: Postweaning multisystemic wasting syndrome (PMWS) is a major disease of swine, caused by porcine circovirus type 2 (PCV2). The major clinical signs of PMWS are wasting, paleness of the skin, enlargement of the lymph nodes, respiratory distress, and occasional diarrhea as well as icterus [1,2]. PCV2 has a significant impact on the pig industry worldwide [3]. PCV2 is a small non-enveloped DNA virus which contains a single-stranded circular genome of 1.7 kb [4,5]. The PCV2 genome has three major open reading frames (ORFs), which encode replication-associated proteins (ORF1) [6], viral capsid protein (ORF2) [7], and apoptotic protein (ORF3) [8]. The ORF2 is an essential determinant for the genetic typing of PCV2 isolates, since the capsid gene has more variability than the other ORFs [9]. Phylogenetic analysis demonstrated two major subtypes of PCV2, which are PCV2a (Group2) and PCV2b (Group 1). Each subtype was classified into different clusters, 1A to 1C for the subtype PCV2b, and 2A to 2E for the subtype PCV2a [9]. Furthermore, a third subtype (PCV2c), found only in the Danish pigs, was described [10]. A novel subtype, PCV2d, which is dominant in Chinese pigs, was recently reported [11]. A number of studies suggested that PCV2b is more virulent than PCV2a and predominant in PMWS-affected herds [12,13]. However, an experimental inoculation of pigs with PCV2a and PCV2b demonstrated no divergence in the virulence of both subtypes [14]. Thus, no association of the PCV2 subtype designations, the disease status, or the geographical distribution appears to be evident.Since PMWS was first observed in Canada in 1991 [1], the prevalence of PCV2 and the occurrence of PMWS have been worldwide reported [15-25]. Abstract: 热疗是一种历史悠久的疾病治疗方法,在中国和世界各地都有用热疗治愈疾病的历史记载.本文主要从技术、产品和临床3个方面综合回顾了现代热疗的发展历程,分析了微波、射频、超声等热疗技术的进步和磁感应热疗等新型热疗技术的出现.分析表明,目前热疗已经发展到了一个新的高度,可以实现更高的治疗温度,温度控制更精确,副作用更小,疗效更好;在肿瘤治疗领域,热疗甚至有可能成为一种新的主流治疗手段,在一些常见的良性疾病治疗方面也将得到更广泛的应用.
PMWS (Postweaning Multisystemic Wasting Syndrome) In Central Italy: Histopathological, Immunohistochemical and Ultrastructural Findings

Abstract: We describe the presence of Porcine circovirus 2 (PCV-2) in thirteen pigs necropsied in Department of Biopathological Sciences and Hygiene of Animal and Alimentary Productions in Perugia. Sistemic lymphadenopathy, sometimes haemorrhagic and necrotic, spleen enlarged thymus atrophic, lungs collapse and consolidated, were the principal gross findings. The most consistent histological lesion was a moderate to severe lymphocellular depletion in lymphoid organs, syncytial giant cell formation, and intracytoplasmic inclusion bodies in macrophages. PCV-2 was immunohistochemically detected in all pigs with PMWS. Electron microscopy investigations demonstrated viral particles compatible with Porcine PCV-2.
