Abstract: The basic functions and the relative concepts of ZigBee network are analyzed in this paper. The implementation method of ZigBee network layer is proposed, and then a algorism about how to built a Zigbee network is defined. Finally, a experiment is simulated by prove the liveness of the Zigbee network, the result shows the PC can get the monitored data from the Zigbee network.

Abstract: This abstract tells about a Wireless Technological Device which is popular for extremely Low Power, and Low Bit Rate Wireless PAN Technology called ZigBee. ZigBee is designed for wireless Automation and other lower data tasks, such as smart home automation and remote monitoring. ZigBee is a low-cost, low-power, wireless mesh networking standard. The low cost allows the technology to be widely deployed in wireless control and monitoring applications, the low power usage allows longer life with smaller batteries, and the mesh networking provides high reliability and larger range. Due to the low-cost and low-power usage this wireless technology is widely used in Home Automation, Smart Energy, Telecommunication Applications, Personal Home, Hospital Care. ZigBee enables new opportunities for wireless sensors and control networks. ZigBee is standard based, low cost, can be used globally, reliable and self healing, supports large number of nodes, easy to deploy, very long battery life and secure.[1]

Abstract: Zigbee Technology specification for a suite of high level communication protocols using small, low-power digital radios. The technology is intended to be simpler and cheaper than Blue tooth. ZigBee is the newest specifications which have low data rates, consume very and low power. With ZigBee technology, interoperability will be enabled in multi-purpose, self-organizing mesh networks. ZigBee is standard for embedded application software. The bandwidth of Blue tooth is 1 Mbps and ZigBee has onefourth of this value. ZigBee has low costs and long battery life. Abstract: ZigBee is a fairly new but promising wireless sensor network standard that offers the advantages of simple and low resource communication. Nevertheless, security is of great concern to ZigBee, and enhancements are prescribed in the latest ZigBee specication: ZigBee-2007. In this technical report, we identify an important gap in the specification on key updates, and present a methodology for determining optimal key update policies and security parameters. We exploit the stochastic model checking approach using the probabilistic model checker PRISM, and assess the security needs for realistic application scenarios.

Zigbee was developed to satisfy the market's need for a cost-effective, standardsbased wireless network that supports low data rates, low power consumption, security, and reliability.This paper illustrates that the ZigBee wireless technology can perform well in industrial environments in terms of performance and reliabilities.
