 Angelo Di Canto Physics , 2012, DOI: 10.1393/ncc/i2013-11400-3 Abstract: Exploiting the full Run II data sample collected by the CDF trigger on displaced vertices, we present a search for CP violation in neutral D mesons decays to hadronic final states. We use the strong D^{*+}\to D^{0}\pi^{+} (and c.c.) decay to identify the flavor of the charmed meson at production time and exploit CP-conserving strong c\bar{c} pair-production in p\bar{p} collisions. The results are the world's most precise measurements to date and confirm the presence of sizable CP-violating effects in the charm sector as recently observed by the LHCb Collaboration
 Mirco Dorigo Physics , 2013, Abstract: I report recent measurements in b-hadron decays reconstructed in the full data set of \sqrt{s} = 1.96 TeV proton-antiproton collisions collected by the CDF experiment at the Tevatron. These include the final CDF results on: measurements of CP asymmetries in two-body charmless decays of the Bd, Bs, and \Lambda^0_b hadrons; bounds on the Bs mixing phase and on the decay width difference of Bs mass eigenstates; and updated measurements of branching ratios of Bs->Jpsi Phi and Bs->Ds(*)Ds(*) decays. All measurements are among the most precise from a single experiment and in agreement with the standard model predictions.
 Physics , 2012, Abstract: The LHCb and CDF Collaborations have recently reported evidence for a CP asymmetry around -0.7% in $\Delta A_{CP}$, the difference between $A_{CP}(D^0 \to K^+ K^-)$ and $A_{CP}(D^0 \to \pi^+\pi^-)$. In the Standard Model this effect may be accounted for by enhanced $1/m_c$ corrections in a CP-violating penguin amplitude governed by a Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa (CKM) factor $V^*_{cb}V_{ub}$. A consistent scheme based on broken flavor SU(3) is presented relating Cabibbo-favored (CF) and singly-Cabibbo-suppressed (SCS) $D$ meson decay rates into two pseudoscalars. Two important ingredients supporting the above interpretation for $\Delta A_{CP}$ are a large exchange amplitude in CF decays which is formally $1/m_c$-suppressed, and a pure $\Delta U=0$ U-spin breaking CP-conserving penguin amplitude involving $V^*_{cs}V_{us}$ and $V^*_{cd}V_{ud}$ which accounts for the difference between the $D^0\to K^+K^-$ and $D^0\to \pi^+\pi^-$ decay rates. The magnitudes of the CP conserving and CP violating penguin amplitudes, where the former involves U-spin breaking at a level of 10%, are shown to be related to each other by the magnitudes of corresponding CKM factors. This simple scheme leads to preferable sign predictions for CP asymmetries in charmed meson decays into two pseudoscalars and to correlations between asymmetries in two pairs of these processes.
 Angelo Carbone Statistics , 2012, Abstract: The LHCb Collaboration has recently observed evidence of CP violation in neutral D meson decays. CP violation in the charm sector is generically expected to be very small in the Standard Model, but can be enhanced in many models of new physics. In this document we will present the results of a search for time-integrated \CP violation in $D^0 \rightarrow h^- h^+$ with $(h=K,\pi)$ decays, performed with around 0.6 fb$^{-1}$ of data collected by LHCb in 2011. The difference in CP asymmetry between $D^0 \rightarrow K^- K^+$ and $D^0 \rightarrow \pi^- \pi^+$, $\Delta A_{CP} = A_{CP}(K^- K^+) - A_{CP}(\pi^- \pi^+)$ is measured to be $\Delta A_{CP} = [-0.82 \pm 0.21 (stat.) \pm 0.11 (syst.)]%$ . This differs from the hypothesis of CP conservation by 3.5 sigma.

EPJ Web of Conferences , 2012, DOI: 10.1051/epjconf/20122804007 Abstract: The preliminary results of a search for time-integrated CP violation in D0 → h h+ (h = K, π) decays performed with 0.6 fb of data collected by LHCb in 2011 are presented. The flavour of the charm meson is determined by the charge of the slow pion in the D*+ → D0π+ and D* → Dˉ 0 π ${ar D^0}{pi ^ - }$ decay chains. The difference in CP asymmetry between D0 → K K+ and D0 → π π+, ΔACP ≡ ACP(K K+) ACP(π π+), is measured to be ΔACP = | 0.82 ± 0.21(stat.) ± 0.11(syst.)|%. This differs from the hypothesis of CP conservation by 3.5σ.

We also report a new measurement of CP-violating asymmetries in D\ast\pm-tagged D0 \rightarrow h+h- (h = K or {\pi}) decays, where any enhancement from the Standard Model prediction would be unambiguous evidence for New Physics.
