Abstract: The Search engines plays an important role in the success of the Web, Search engines helps any Internet user to rapidly find relevant information. But the unsolved problems of current search engines have led to the development of the Semantic Web. In the environment of Semantic Web, the search engines are more useful and efficient in searching the relevant web information., and our work shows how the fundamental elements of the meta search engine can be used in retriving the information resources in a more efficient way. Abstract: The amount and variety of information on the World Wide Web (Web) is increasing in an unstructured way. This makes navigation and retrieval of information a difficult and sometimes frustrating process. For instance, Web search engines are becoming less effective as the documents available on the Web proliferate and users' queries return hundreds of links. Users may become lost or frustrated because navigation is unintuitive and semantic meanings are not used to evaluate the relevance of the links, most of which may be unrelated to what the user wants. Gathering useful and interesting information from the Web or discovering knowledge from hypertext data is a problem that may be solved by implementing measures to make Web information understandable by a Web search engine or other types of software [8]. This project discusses about to classify web search data according to the need of web search engine user. Classification leads’ the sorting, indexing, combining different results, categorized the output data. More over it provide a help to write query for the search engine.

Abstract: All modern web browsers - Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, and Safari - have a core rendering engine written in C++. This language choice was made because it affords the systems programmer complete control of the underlying hardware features and memory in use, and it provides a transparent compilation model. Servo is a project started at Mozilla Research to build a new web browser engine that preserves the capabilities of these other browser engines but also both takes advantage of the recent trends in parallel hardware and is more memory-safe. We use a new language, Rust, that provides us a similar level of control of the underlying system to C++ but which builds on many concepts familiar to the functional programming community, forming a novelty - a useful, safe systems programming language. In this paper, we show how a language with an affine type system, regions, and many syntactic features familiar to functional language programmers can be successfully used to build state-of-the-art systems software. We also outline several pitfalls encountered along the way and describe some potential areas for future research.

Abstract: The WorldWideWeb (WWW) is a huge conservatory of web pages. Search Engines are key applications that fetch web pages for the user query. In the current generation web architecture, search engines treat keywords provided by the user as isolated keywords without considering the context of the user query. This results in a lot of unrelated pages or links being displayed to the user. Semantic Web is based on the current web with a revised framework to display a more precise result set as response to a user query. The current web pages need to be annotated by finding relevant meta data to be added to each of them, so that they become useful to Semantic Web search engines. Semantic Look explores the context of user query by processing the Semantic information recorded in the web pages. It is compared with an existing algorithm called OntoLook and it is shown that Semantic Look is a better optimized search engine by being more than twice as fast as OntoLook.

Abstract: The tremendous growth in the volume of data and with the terrific growth of number of web pages, traditional search engines now a days are not appropriate and not suitable anymore. Search engine is the most important tool to discover any information in World Wide Web. Semantic Search Engine is born of traditional search engine to overcome the above problem. The Semantic Web is an extension of the current web in which information is given well-defined meaning. Semantic web technologies are playing a crucial role in enhancing traditional web search, as it is working to create machine readable data. but it will not replace traditional search engine. Abstract: With the rapid advancements in Information Technology, Information Retrieval on Internet is gaining its importance day by day. Nowadays there are millions of Websites and billions of homepages available on the Internet. Search Engines are the essential tools for the purpose of retrieving the required information from the Web. But the existing search engines have many problems such as not having wide scope, imbalance in accessing the sites etc. So, the effectiveness of a search engine plays a vital role. Meta search engines are such systems that can provide effective information by accessing multiple existing search engines such as Dog Pile, Meta Crawler etc, but most of them cannot successfully operate on heterogeneous and fully dynamic web environment. In this paper we propose a Web Service Architecture for Meta Search Engine to cater the need of heterogeneous and dynamic web environment. The objective of our proposal is to exploit most of the features offered by Web Services through the implementation of a Web Service Meta Search Engine.

Abstract: With the tremendous growth of information available to end users through the Web, search engines come to play ever a more critical role. Nevertheless, because of their general-purpose approach, it is always less uncommon that obtained result sets provide a burden ofuseless pages. The next-generation Web architecture, represented by the Semantic Web, provides the layered architecture possibly allowing overcoming this limitation. Several search engines have been proposed, which allow increasing information retrieval accuracy by exploiting a key content of Semantic Web resources, that is, relations. To make the Semantic Web work, well-structured data andrules are necessary for agents to roam the Web [2]. XML and RDF are two important technologies: we can create our own structures by XML without indicating what they mean; RDF uses sets of triples which express basic concepts [2]. DAML is the extension of XML and RDF The aim of this project is to develop a search engine based on ontologymatching within the Semantic Web. It uses the data in Semantic Web form such as DAML or RDF. When the user input a query, the program accepts the query and transfers it to a machine learning agent. Then the agent measures the similarity between different ontology’s, and feedback the matched item to the user.

Abstract: This paper presents an approach to identify efficient techniques used in Web Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Understanding SEO factors which can influence page ranking in search engine is significant for webmasters who wish to attract large number of users to their website. Different from previous relevant research, in this study we developed an intelligent Meta search engine which aggregates results from various search engines and ranks them based on several important SEO parameters. The research tries to establish that using more SEO parameters in ranking algorithms helps in retrieving better search results thus increasing user satisfaction. Initial results generated from Meta search engine outperformed existing search engines in terms of better retrieved search results with high precision.
Design and Evaluation of Semantic Guided Search Engine

Abstract: Search engines provide a gateway through which people can find relevant information in large collections of heterogeneous data. Search engines efficiently service the information needs of people that require access to the data therein. Web search engines service millions of queries per day, and search collections that contain billions of documents. As the growth in the number of documents that are available in such collections continues, the task of finding documents that are relevant to user queries becomes increasingly costly. In this work, Semantic Guided Internet Search Engine is built to present an efficient search engine – crawl, index and rank the web pages – by applying two approaches. The first one, implementing Semantic principles through the searching stage, which depends on morphology concept – applying stemming concept – and synonyms dictionary, and the second, implementing guided concept during input the query stage which assist the user to find the suitable and corrected words. The advantage of guided concept is to reduce the probability of inserting wrong words in query. The concluded issues in this research that the returned web pages are semantic pages yielding with synonyms depending on the query terms which achieved the concept of semantic search and as compared with Google, good results are appeared depending on the Recall and Precision measurements reaching 95% - 100% for some queries in spite of the differential of environment between the two systems. Also, the performance of the search is improved by using guided search and by using the improved PageRank, which reduces the retrieved time. Finally removing stop words from a document minimizes the storage space, which enhanced the proposed system.
