Abstract: this paper deals with the simulation and presentation of a novel approach to design and implementation of algorithm to realize hand over process for a mobile communication system during mobile network. This algorithm performs the ability of the system to extract important information features about the received signal. When the strength of the received signal is dropped below a certain threshold value then an alert process is activated to achieve the continuity of the transmission due to a ready scan which is existed on time.

Abstract: Location management refers to the problem of updating and searching the current location of mobile nodes in a wireless network. To make it efficient, the sum of update costs of location database must be minimized. Previous work relying on fixed location databases is unable to fully exploit the knowledge of user mobility patterns in the system so as to achieve this minimization. The study presents an intelligent location management approach which has interacts between intelligent information system and knowledge-base technologies, so we can dynamically change the user patterns and reduce the transition between the VLR and HLR. Abstract: Advances in the technologies of networking, wireless communication and trimness of computers lead to the rapid development in mobile communication infrastructure, and have drastically changed information processing on mobile devices. Users carrying portable devices can freely move around, while still connected to the network. This provides flexibility in accessing information anywhere at any time. For improving more flexibility on mobile device, the new challenges in designing software systems for mobile networks include location and mobility management, channel allocation, power saving and security. In this paper, we are proposing intelligent software tool for software design on mobile devices to fulfill the new challenges on mobile location and mobility management. In this study, the proposed Business Process Redesign (BPR) concept is aims at an extension of the capabilities of an existing, widely used process modeling tool in industry with 'Intelligent' capabilities to suggest favorable alternatives to an existing software workflow design for improving flexibilities on mobile devices.

Abstract: This paper proposes a mobile biological sensor system that can assist in earlydetection of forest fires one of the most dreaded natural disasters on the earth. The main ideapresented in this paper is to utilize animals with sensors as Mobile Biological Sensors(MBS). The devices used in this system are animals which are native animals living inforests, sensors (thermo and radiation sensors with GPS features) that measure thetemperature and transmit the location of the MBS, access points for wireless communicationand a central computer system which classifies of animal actions. The system offers twodifferent methods, firstly: access points continuously receive data about animals’ locationusing GPS at certain time intervals and the gathered data is then classified and checked tosee if there is a sudden movement (panic) of the animal groups: this method is called animalbehavior classification (ABC). The second method can be defined as thermal detection(TD): the access points get the temperature values from the MBS devices and send the datato a central computer to check for instant changes in the temperatures. This system may beused for many purposes other than fire detection, namely animal tracking, poachingprevention and detecting instantaneous animal death.

Abstract: In the past pace of life it is difficult for people to be constantly available for their near ones who might need them while they are suffering from any disease or physical disorder. So constant monitoring of the patient’s body parameters such as body temperature, Pulse rate and sugar level etc becomes difficult. Generally in ICUs nurses are taking care of abnormalities n the health of the patient but they may not be available for taking care of patient’s health 24X7. So sometimes in absence of care taker it may happens that the health of the patient becomes abnormal /critical from normal condition. So to remove these critical conditions we have proposed an automatic low cost microcontroller & intelligent Wireless GSM based Advanced patient monitoring system which continuously in the regular interval of time (DS1307 RTC for clock) measuring the intensive parameter of the patient’s health and if any abnormal condition occurs, it directly give a message to the doctor’s cell phone that particular word no’s particular parameter is out of the range. Due to this alert message, Doctor can do the fast assessment of the patient’s health without wasting the time.

Abstract: As security threats change and advance in a drastic way, most ofthe organizations implement multiple Network Intrusion DetectionSystems (NIDSs) to optimize detection and to provide comprehensiveview of intrusion activities. But NIDSs trigger a massive amount ofalerts even for a day and overwhelmed security experts. Thus,automated and intelligent clustering is important to reveal theirstructural correlation by grouping alerts with common attributes. Wepropose a new hybrid clustering model based on Improved UnitRange (IUR), Principal Component Analysis (PCA) andunsupervised learning algorithm (Expectation Maximization) toaggregate similar alerts and to reduce the number of alerts. Wetested against other unsupervised learning algorithms to validate theperformance of the proposed model. Our empirical results showusing DARPA 2000 dataset the proposed model gives better results interms of the clustering accuracy and processing time.

Abstract:

Rapid developments of mobile technologies, data acquisition and big data analytics, and their integration with critical application domains such as transportation systems have the potential to produce more efficient, real-time, intelligent and safe transportation infrastructure. To increase the quality of transportation services, wireless sensor networks, mobile phones, crowd sourcing, RFID and Bluetooth technologies are being used. We surveyed innovations that were transformed from ideas in research labs into commercial systems in practical use. In this paper, we present some innovative mobile technologies, services and platforms that are being used in modern transportation applications including traffic data acquisition, traffic management and control, route optimizations, infrastructure redesign, road safety and enhancing user experience.

Review: Swarm Intelligent based routing Protocols for Mobile Adhoc Networks

Abstract: An ad hoc mobile network is a collection of mobile nodes that are dynamically and arbitrarily located in such a manner that the interconnections between nodes are capable of changing on a continual basis. In order to facilitate communication within the network, a routing protocol is used to discover routes between nodes. Routing is a challenging issue in ad hoc network since nodes are mobile and the topology of the networks is ever changing. Besides, all nodes need to communicate via wireless infrastructure. The primary goal of such an ad hoc network routing protocol is correct and efficient route establishment between a pair of nodes so that messages may bedelivered in a timely manner. Route construction should be done with a minimum of overhead and bandwidth consumption. This paper presents a review of swarm Intelligent based routing protocols used for mobile ad hoc network (MANET). The paper provides an overview of eight different protocols by presenting their characteristics and functionality, and then provides a comparison and discussion of their respective merits and drawbacks.

Abstract: In the modern era, patient health is no longer the only concern for hospitals. Hospitals have to bear the responsibility of the patient safety and the patient comfort. However, due to the overcrowded and understaffed clinical areas with complex workflow patterns, there are different forms of medical care errors arisen in the healthcare system. According to recent statistic from World Health Organization, ten of milions of patient around the world are injured or dead every yearas a result of incorrect medical care. Rroughly 10% patients admitted to hospital in developed countries suffered some forms of medical care errors or medical adverse events. It is about 1.4 million of world population.In order to enhance the patient safety and patient comfort in the current medical service system, an RFID‐based Patient Tracking and Mobile Alert System integrated with information communications technology was designed and developed. Apart from identifying different patient’s whereabouts, instant alerts are generated through mobile devices so as to enhance patients’ safety and comfort. With a view of investigating the feasibility of RFID and mobile technology in the healthcare environment, a pilot study was conducted in Mindset Club in the Castle Peak Hospital in Hong Kong.
