Radiative Transitions in Charmonium  [PDF]
Jozef Dudek,Robert Edwards,David Richards
Physics , 2005,
Abstract: The form factors for the radiative transitions between charmonium mesons are investigated. We employ an anisotropic lattice using a Wilson gauge action, and domain-wall fermion action. We extrapolate the form factors to $Q^2 = 0$, corresponding to a real photon, using quark-model-inspired functions. Finally, comparison is made with photocouplings extracted from the measured radiative widths, where known. Our preliminary results find photocouplings commensurate with these experimentally extracted values.

T. Barnes
Physics , 1993,
Abstract: This talk summarizes the status of the charmonium system, with particular emphasis on outstanding problems in QCD spectroscopy which a tau-charm factory can address.
Inclusive radiative decays of charmonium
Tormo, Xavier Garcia i;Soto, Joan
High Energy Physics - Phenomenology , 2007,
Abstract: We discuss the theoretical status of inclusive radiative decays of charmonium, with a particular emphasis on the QCD description of the photon spectrum, where progress has occurred in recent years. We also comment on the possible extraction of alpha_s (M_J/psi) and on the possibility to gain important information on the nature of J/psi and psi (2S).
Charmonium meson and hybrid radiative transitions  [PDF]
Peng Guo,Tochtli Yépez-Martínez,Adam P. Szczepaniak
Physics , 2014, DOI: 10.1103/PhysRevD.89.116005
Abstract: We consider the non-relativistic limit of the QCD Hamiltonian in the Coulomb gauge, to describe radiative transitions between conventional charmonium states and from the lowest multiplet of $c\bar{c}$ hybrids to charmonium mesons. The results are compared to potential quark models and lattices calculations.
Observation of double radiative capture on pionic hydrogen  [PDF]
S. Tripathi,D. S. Armstrong,M. E. Christy,J. H. D. Clark,T. P. Gorringe,M. D. Hasinoff,M. A. Kovash,D. H. Wright,P. A. Zolnierczuk
Physics , 2002, DOI: 10.1103/PhysRevLett.89.252501
Abstract: We report the first observation of double radiative capture on pionic hydrogen. The experiment was conducted at the TRIUMF cyclotron using the RMC spectrometer, and detected $\gamma$--ray coincidences following $\pi^-$ stops in liquid hydrogen. We found the branching ratio for double radiative capture to be $(3.05 \pm 0.27(stat.) \pm 0.31(syst.)) \times 10^{-5}$. The measured branching ratio and angle-energy distributions support the theoretical prediction of a dominant contribution from the $\pi \pi \to \gamma \gamma$ annihilation mechanism.
Charmonium singlets, open charm and exotic hadrons
Richard, J. M.
High Energy Physics - Phenomenology , 2007,
Abstract: Caution is suggested on the comparison of the spin-singlet charmonium P-state with the centre of gravity of triplet states, when the mass splitting is of the order of a few MeV. The physics of new hidden-charm states X and Y is briefly reviewed. Perspectives for producing double-charm baryons and double-charm exotic mesons are discussed.
