The analyses are based on figures which were published in 2013-2014 by international organizations and they refer to the years 2000-2012. The analysis shows that at the present time, the efficiency of energy use in the Republic of Azerbaijan is 23% higher than the world average. Abstract: This paper discusses the interactive relationships of coupling, integrating and harmonizing in Ecology. We present three significant world-wide concerned ecological issues as global ecological security indicated by climate changes, economic fluctuations and social conflicts; regional ecological services degradation characterized by resources exploitation, environmental pollution and ecological stresses; losses of human ecological health and socio-ecological welfare caused by poverty, over-consumption and brutal exploitation. Furthermore, we explore the connotation of ecological civilization as cognitive, institutional, physical and mental dimensions, and discuss its research, development and strategic management. Finally, we present some strategic suggestions on developing ecological civilization as strengthening the research on fundamental and applied ecology, promoting the activities of ecological education and ecological knowledge popularization, and implementing public participation in ecological decision-making and management.

Mingyue Zhang
Journal of Modern Agriculture , 2012,
Abstract: Henan has a population of over one hundred million people, which ranks the first in all Chinese provinces. Its total grain output accounts for one tenth of the country. As the most populous and largest agricultural province in China, research on Henan is a window for penetrating into phenomena in China. At present, Henan is in the stage of developing agricultural modernization, advancing industrialization, and urbanization at the same time. The contradiction between ecological environment and economic development has become increasingly prominent in Henan. Only with correct development orientation, integration of advantages, highlighting of characteristics, can we find a scientific way of coordinated development of agricultural modernization, industrialization and urbanization at no expense of destroying agriculture and food security, ecology and environment. In this way, we can better serve as the bibcock model in the course of accelerating the construction of economic zone of Central Plains and realize mutual benefit and win-win result.

Third, we should try our best to construct the responsible ecology image of China, and concentrate on the conviction of maintaining the right of China environment and development.
From Kant to Schelling to Process Metaphysics: On the Way to Ecological Civilization  [PDF]
Arran Gare
Cosmos and History : the Journal of Natural and Social Philosophy , 2011,
Abstract: The post-Kantians were inspired by Kant’s Critique of Judgment to forge a new synthesis of natural philosophy, art and history that would overcome the dualisms and gulfs within Kant’s philosophy. Focusing on biology and showing how Schelling reworked and transformed Kant’s insights, it is argued that Schelling was largely successful in laying the foundations for this synthesis, although he was not always consistent in building on these foundations. To appreciate this achievement, it is argued that Schelling should not be interpreted as an idealist but as a process metaphysician; as he claimed, overcoming the oppositions between idealism and realism, spiritualism and materialism. It is also argued that as a process metaphysician, Schelling not merely defended an organic view of nature but developed a theory of emergence and a new conception of life relevant to current theoretical and philosophical biology. This interpretation provides a defense of process metaphysics as the logical successor to Kant’s critical philosophy and thereby as the most defensible tradition of philosophy up to the present. It provides the foundations for post-reductionist science, reconciling the sciences, the arts and the humanities, and provides the basis for a more satisfactory ethics and political philosophy. Most importantly, it overcomes the nihilism of European civilization, providing the foundations for a global ecological civilization.
Revitalizing Traditional Chinese Concepts in the Modern Ecological Civilization Debate  [PDF]
Finn Arler
Open Journal of Philosophy (OJPP) , 2018, DOI: 10.4236/ojpp.2018.82009
Abstract: The subject of this paper is the question of China’s contribution to the establishment of an association of ecological civilizations—as seen from the perspective of a European—given the growing economic, political, and ecological influence that China has in the world today. The question is which values are likely to guide Chinese development. Can concepts like “sustainability”, “environmental carefulness”, and “common concerns of humankind” easily be integrated as topics on the Chinese agenda? Or are they likely to be expelled due to some basic values and ideas in traditional (or modern) Chinese worldviews? The paper discusses a number of modern interpretations that have argued that some basic concepts in the Chinese tradition are not only congenial with, but even provide fruitful additions to the modern debate about the establishment of cooperative ecological civilizations. In the final part the strong modern influence of both Marxist conceptions and consumerist behaviour is considered.
