Abstract: This article focuses on the theoretical research and practical teaching in training and improving students’ ability of practical writing in higher vocational colleges through analyzing present curricular status of writing courses. It clarifies the idea of teaching reformation and finds out a series of teaching methods possessing practical significance. It also makes a reference to the teaching reformation of practical writing courses in higher vocational colleges.

Abstract: The rapid development of higher vocational education in our country, to higher vocational ideological and political education work has brought serious challenges, researching the effectiveness of the ideological and political education work, improving the effect of education, higher vocational education is not only the objective need of development, is suspending in front of ideological and political education workers a key subject concerning theory and practice. Based on the method of recessive ideological and political education in higher vocational colleges in the field of the characteristics and development, the paper analyzes the current situation of ideological and political education, and puts forward the recessive ideological system of ideological and political education of college students in China.

Abstract: How to establish and perfect the personnel training mode based on the entrepreneurial-oriented English teaching according to professional features and center on the principles of “setting up the majors in industry, learning foreign languages in profession” to make students become “professionals with rich expertise, fine career skills, and rich Chinese heritage”, and also deepen the education and teaching is the focus of the current professional business English teaching reform in vocational colleges. Abstract: Along with the development of linguistic science, the second language acquisition (SLA) has become an independent subject. Its theory is widely accepted and applied to the foreign language-teaching field. The mark theory, the mother tongue transfer theory, language input theory, cultural introject theory and so on have important enlightenment and the value to the foreign language teaching and the study in vocational colleges and can promote the solution of the present problems.

Abstract: In our education life, most of us do not question sufficiently what, how much, and how we learn and what we need to learn. Education life in schools might be limited to certificates received without answering these questions fully. It seems difficult to expect success without answering these question in practical training at industrial institutions which are important for vocational education,. In vocational and technical education,it is important to reach an overlap between the learning outcomes and the expectations of business world and students’ interests-needs in terms of developing national economy, facilitating employment after vocational education, and keeping social peace through job satisfaction. This study aims to analyze the skills and knowledge developed by the students in technical departments of vocational colleges during workplace training. Therefore, a questionnaire related to students learning outcomes is prepared and applied. After the application of the questionnaire, the results are discussed. As a result of the data analysis in the study, the learning outcomes that occur during industry-partnered education are found to fall into three main areas: understanding the business world; achieving personal development and career planning; acquiring the practical skills and institutional knowledge in the related field.

Abstract: Higher vocational education is an important part of Vocational Education in China, and deepening school-enterprise cooperation is an important way and method to improve the quality of Higher Vocational education. We must give full play to the role of relevant government departments in promoting the cooperation between Higher Vocational Colleges and enterprises, and do a good job in the top-level design of the cooperation between Higher Vocational Colleges and enterprises. Higher vocational colleges should establish the sense of reform and brand, adopt a variety of school-enterprise cooperation modes according to local conditions, constantly improve the technical service ability of schools, and promote the connotative development of Higher Vocational colleges. Through establishing the guarantee mechanism of school-enterprise cooperation and improving the quality of personnel training, we can constantly improve the long-term operation mechanism of school-enterprise cooperation, constantly improve the quality of education in Higher Vocational colleges, and realize mutual benefit and win-win in the true sense of both sides.

Abstract: With continuously deepened internationalization of education, “internationalization of local talents and localization of international talents has become a tendency”. Sino-foreign cooperative education in higher vocational colleges is vigorously developed and has achieved unprecedented expansion and development in terms of both scale and level. Ever since higher vocational colleges in Jiangsu Province conducted Sino-foreign cooperative education, they have achieved a series of important educational achievements and have exerted great influences in all walks of the society. Indeed, the primary purpose of Sino-foreign cooperative education in higher vocational colleges is to bring in excellent education resources, and promoting educational and teaching reform is a perfect resource carrier and learning carrier, but among a multitude of Sino-foreign cooperative education projects, the phenomenon of dragons and fished jumbled together also exists. And the various problems revealed in the process of education have seriously damaged the cultivation quality and reputation of Sino-foreign cooperative education. This paper is going to discuss and analyze in details problems implied in Sino-foreign cooperative education in higher vocational colleges from twelve aspects. These difficulties constrain the healthy development of Sino-foreign cooperative education in higher vocational colleges and have to be practically emphasized and resolved.

Relationship between EFL Learners’ Belief and Learning Strategy Use by English Majors in Vocational Colleges  [cached]

Abstract: This study, based on two questionnaires, explored relationship between foreign language learning beliefs and the strategy use among English major sophomores of vocational colleges in Jiangxi. In addition, it attempted to find any relationship between the two variables. The results shows: (1) Overall mean of the belief is 3.44, which means majority of subjects agree with the statements or at least stay neutral. They hold strong opinion about the six belief categories, especially about the language learning and communication strategies.(2) The overall strategy use fall within the range of medium use (mean=2.89), which means the vocational students “sometimes” use the strategies. Compensation strategies are the most popular strategies with the vocational English majors, while memory strategies are least used. (3) Moderate correlation coefficient is detected between the language learning beliefs and frequency of strategy use (r=.476, p<.01).

In this article, curriculum location of general microbiology about object, character, function, content design for the higher vocational colleges were disscused. The result would provide some gist to reform teaching methods for microbiology course.
