Cinq Continents , 2012,

CODRUT IVAN
Cinq Continents , 2011,
Abstract: Tourism in Romania in the last decade. Case study: the city of Brasov. The urbanization is a phenomenon that took proportions lately, due to the economical development, of transports, of the socio-cultural interests, to the increase of the education level, etc. Due to the means of information, communication, and transport and to the concentration of the touristic historical-cultural objectives inthe big cities, these ones have become important points of attraction for the touristic activity. In the last decade, due to the economic restructuring and to the increase of the role of the services sector, tourism has begun to have an important contribution in the economy of the country including the city of Brasov. In Romania, the city of Brasov represents one of the most important touristic centresof the country due to the numerous historical and cultural objectives within it but also the special natural resources. Although tourism has become one of the main factors concerning the economical development, we cannot ignore the negative aspects that result as a consequence of the touristic activity that is why it is necessary that this one should take place in the conditions in which the actual generation to beneficiate and use the current natural and anthropic resources sothat the next generations can take advantage of as well.

Brasov people’s fears after EU accession. Study carried out at the level of Brasov Municipality
Claudiu COMAN
Bulletin of the Transilvania University of Bra?ov. Series VII : Social Sciences and Law , 2012,
Abstract: This study is part of a wider research, a compared type based sociological survey using the questionnaire, applied in Brasov during January 2010 and June 2010: "Effects of the EU integration perceived at the level of Brasov community and its implications on life quality and styles." By trying to explain precisely these effects of European integration (as research objective) it was found that, in the scientific literature, the subject of the EU integration effort was oriented by means of the utilitarian theory (Gabel, 1998). Other international studies have also put in evidence that public opinion on EU integration matters, is determined by economic considerations and personal calculations such as cost-benefit (Anderson, 1995; Eichenberg and Dalton, 1993; Gabel, 1998). Using secondary analysis of the 2010 database and by following the proposed model of Ioan M rginean, Iuliana Precupe u and Ana Maria Preoteasa (2004) regarding the development of a measurement model of the post-accession EU fears, adapted to the Brasov realities and based on three dimensions (the sphere of private life, the sphere of social life and the relationship between the individual and the society), the statistical analysis provides new clues upon the types, the categories and the attitudinal fears profiles found in Brasov and their correlation with a new global factor - the economic crisis.

Restructuring in Combinatorial Optimization  [PDF]
Mark Sh. Levin
Mathematics , 2011,
Abstract: The paper addresses a new class of combinatorial problems which consist in restructuring of solutions (as structures) in combinatorial optimization. Two main features of the restructuring process are examined: (i) a cost of the restructuring, (ii) a closeness to a goal solution. This problem corresponds to redesign (improvement, upgrade) of modular systems or solutions. The restructuring approach is described and illustrated for the following combinatorial optimization problems: knapsack problem, multiple choice problem, assignment problem, spanning tree problems. Examples illustrate the restructuring processes.
CONSIDERATIONS ON THE MINERAL WATERS FROM COUNTY OF BRASOV, SPA AND RECOVERY  [PDF]
RODICA MERE?
Aerul ?i Apa : Componente ale Mediului , 2011,
Abstract: The essential element of the existence of life on earth is water. This ensures that the body needs nutrients and water while still eliminated from the body have become useless or toxic elements to it. In terms of mineral waters, it may be a true ”oasis” of charity for Brasov county, since the particular climate that predisposes people to various diseases could be treated by exploiting these mineral waters. We believe therefore extremely important that a knowledge of typology mineral water in the county and their therapeutic characteristics, it would mean a possible spa development in the county of Brasov. Natural potential of any region must be known and properly valued above all.
