HERMENEUTICAL ASPECT OF REFERENCE
Sanja,Ivic;
Praxis Filosófica , 2009,
Abstract: hermeneutical aspect of reference embraces a relation to reality in its broadest sense. this aspect of reference explains how some concepts employed in scientific theories and historical and fictional text, which are considered as "non-existant", transform our experience of reality. epistemological aspect of reference should not be separated from ontological and hermeneutical aspects.

Jaime Flórez I
Theologica Xaveriana , 2008,
The crisis of enlightened modernity and the new configuration modes of culture and society, in part manifested by the rise of new rationalities, demand that theology exposes its contributions and its pertinence. With this in mind, this paper seeks to establish an approach to theology from its own epistemological statute (its own language, its scope, procedures, concepts...), so that it can be validated as a knowledge by an academic community, as a coherent, systematic, methodical, hermeneutical logos that finds in symbolic language its best way of expressing the experience of Theos in the midst of human history. Within this context, theology -which goes through critical times-
Grounded Theory and the Phenomenological Approach in Social Sciences. An Epistemological Controversy upon the Building of Concepts in Grounded Theory: the Forgotten Concept of Intentionality  [PDF]
Adrian PACURAR
Revista de Cercetare ?i Interven?ie Social? , 2013,
Abstract: The study is focused upon the way in which Grounded Theory’s general frame is considering the process of conceptualization in its relation with the empirical original data. It is centered upon the issue of building the first conceptual level in order to obtain further theoretical development. The analysis begins with a description of the Grounded Theory’s way of conceiving the relation between the contact with the empirical data and the first appearance of the conceptualization process. We argue that is not possible to sustain an autonomous methodology, in the way in which this is considered by the Grounded Theory, in order to obtain the theoretical level. The argument shows that, in terms of a phenomenological epistemological perspective, the belief that a researcher would ever be able to approach the empirical data without having a form of preconception, regardless how general this one could be, about the empirical data, could never be properly sustained. Our study shows that intentionality, with all its consequences upon any form of theoretical development, will be always present in any scientific methodology which could be ever accepted in the social research field. We defend the idea that is not possible to accept, at the most fundamental level, the possibility of coexistence of two different methodologies such are the Grounded Theory and the Phenomenological approach. We argue that phenomenological approach is inherent at the most basic level of any social research. We reject the possibility of a methodological mix at the level of contact with the empirical data.
Analysis of Math textbooks: surveying researches to build a methodological proposal according to a hermeneutical approach Análise de textos didáticos de Matemática: um mapeamento e uma proposta metodológica fundada numa perspectiva hermenêutica  [cached]
Fábio Donizeti de Oliveira
Bolema: Boletim de Educa??o Matemática , 2010,
Abstract: This article discusses some methodological possibilities for analyzing textbooks in Mathematics Education. Its starting point was a review – which allowed us to build a general map – of the production developed by consolidated Research Groups that deal with this theme in Brazil. This map allowed us to propose a complementary/alternative guide to analyse textbooks according to a hermeneutical approach. Keywords: Mathematics Education. Methodology. Textbooks.
(Anti)Hermeneutical Philosophy for Science
Evaldas Juozelis
Studia Philosophica Estonica , 2012,
Abstract: Philosophical hermeneutics claims that human understanding, while being contingent and historical, is likewise universal and bears within itself some pervasive features detectable via hermeneutical analyses of historically imparted tradition and language. Similarly, hermeneutical philosophy of science is confident that hermeneutical methods are the only proper tool to adequately assess, reconstruct, explain or give a meaning to historical but universal scientific knowledge and its various forms. I point out two versions of hermeneutical philosophy of science and argue that whenever philosophical hermeneutics pursues rescuing "scientificity", human rationality, human rights, common values, and so forth under the pretence of its universality and competence, it necessarily transcends and violates the tenets of its own. I conclude in the favour of moderate interpretation of practical hermeneutics, perhaps in the very essence of it rest postmodern concepts of historicality, transparency and tolerance, without which there is no possibility of extricating oneself from hermeneuticism.
Hermeneutical Engineering of Requirements  [PDF]
Wagner Varalda, ítalo S. Vega
Journal of Computer and Communications (JCC) , 2017, DOI: 10.4236/jcc.2017.52002
Abstract: The Software Engineering aims to develop, within the deadlines and costs established, quality software and that meets the needs of its users. To be made the definition of what the software should do (to establish its purpose), it included the execution of activity the Requirements Engineering, where the context of software to be developed is identified, examined and specified. All other activities of software development depend primarily on this activity. However, there is a problem increasingly in evidence: understand the context of software to be developed. This article aims to present a proposal to face this problem through the use of specific hermeneutical methods for the Requirements Engineering, which will help the software development team understand the original needs of the business to be attended. The basic idea is to produce a hermeneutic specification acceptable, which will be used for the extraction and the specification of the software requirements to be developed. In essence, the hermeneutics focuses on the true interpretation and understanding in contextualized of what is intended to know. The Hermeneutical Engineering of Requirements comes to be the result of the adequacy of methods hermeneutical to assist, specifically the activity of Engineering of Requirements.
Freedom as a hermeneutical pretext
Antonio SANDU
Revista Romaneasca pentru Educatie Multidimensionala , 2010,
Abstract: Reformulation of the problem of freedom comes from a kaleidoscopic specifics of the contemporary world that is denying the great structural approaches. This can be developed through the convergence of sequences fractals completely disparate. The method of this research is to overcome the phenomenological structuralism with deconstruction of the real meaning, understood as a negotiation of the interpretations. Problem of freedom is a pretext” of the hermeneutical process of opening building the semnificatory act.

Reflections on Donald Capps’ hermeneutical model of pastoral care  [cached]
Yolanda Dreyer
HTS Theological Studies/Teologiese Studies , 2009, DOI: 10.4102/hts.v61i1/2.450
Abstract: This article reflects on the hermeneutical model of Donald Capps, William Harte Felmeth Professor of Pastoral Psychology at Princeton Theological Seminary. Capps points to a similarity between pastoral actions and texts, but regrets that often there is a better understanding of texts than of pastoral actions. The article illustrates Capps’ conviction that theories of pastoral care lack methodologies for understanding what makes pastoral actions meaningful. He uses hermeneutics to make a contribution to the methodology of pastoral care. The article argues that viewing pastoral actions as texts and exploring the hermeneutical insights of Paul Ricoeur, will contribute to the understanding of the meaning of pastoral actions. Such a hermeneutical model uncovers how pastoral actions can be of world disclosing value to the individuals concerned. The article concludes by demonstrating how the notion of reframing in Capps’ theory of pastoral care is based on the concept of the hermeneutical arc in Paul Ricoeur’s philosophy.
A Sketch of Deleuze’s Hermeneutical Spin
Emilian Margarit
Meta : Research in Hermeneutics, Phenomenology and Practical Philosophy , 2011,
Abstract: The aim of this article is to sketch the procedural nature of the modus in which Deleuze reads the other philosophers. The hermeneutical problem indicated by the indecision to consider his books on different authors as an authorized interpretation or as fantasist utilization may be scattered if we understand his hermeneutical attempts both as interpretation and construction (concept or problem). In addition, this indecision affects the guild of Deleuzian exegetes in respect to the directory idea (prime author) which could point out the general strategy of his philosophy.
