Abstract: The aim of this paper is to explore the authentic leadership styles of an entrepreneurs and its impact on employee’s commitment and satisfaction. By using the authentic leadership model, this study seeks to give a tentative test of the connection among employees’ awareness of the business creator as an authentic leader and the employees’ attitudes. Findings are that the opinion of employees’ about authentic leadership serves as the intoxicating analyst of employee job satisfaction and organizational commitment.

Abstract: This paper presented the overview of the human resource practices in small and medium enterprises. The nature and importance of small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) sector in Pakistan’s economy is unparallel. Hence this paper discussed the general views of the SMEs operating in Pakistan, the current employment sector and the HR practices in SMEs. The arguments developed in the paper supports the contention that SMEs in Pakistan have great potential for greater economic and social development. Some key issues pertaining to Pakistan’s SMEs are also identified.

Abstract: The rapid development of information technology enables informationization to become the necessary means for medium-sized and small enterprises to improve their competitive advantages. With efforts for several years, establishment of informationization in medium-sized and small enterprises has achieved some achievements. However, because they started later, together with disadvantages of the enterprises themselves, the overall application level of informationization is still low. Through analysis of the important significance of informationization implementation in medium-sized and small enterprises, this article summarized primary issues existing in the process of informationization in medium-sized and small enterprises and their causes, and proposed suggestions with operability on that basis. The conclusion of this article has extremely important significance to practices of informationization in medium-sized and small enterprises in China.

Abstract: With the globalization of the world economy, especially after China entering the WTO, it is an unavoidable trend for China!? small & medium-sized enterprises to join the international competition.According to the analysis on the advantages and disadvantages of China!?s small & medium-sized enterprises, industrial cluster should be an efficient way for the small medium-sized enterprises to reach the target of internationalization. By establishing and improving specialized industry clusters with regional uniqueness, China!?s small & medium-sized enterprises could have formed their core competing powe in global competition and carry out their strategy of internationalization.

Abstract: eLearning through its flexibility and facility of access is seen as a major enabler of lifelong learning (LLL), as a catalyst of change and a chance for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to improve their business and to integrate into European market. But so far the eLearning in the context of vocational educational training has been mainly adopted by large enterprises, while only little activity can be observed in SMEs. The question arises what the chances and challenges for SMEs are and what is the experience with its usage. In this paper after a presentation of key issues in eLearning chances and challenges of eLearning for SMEs are discussed and experiences are exemplified by three EU-funded eLearning projects. The focus lies on the ongoing project ARIEL - Analysing and Reporting the Implementation of Electronic Learning in Europe - coordinated by the Institut Arbeit und Technik (IAT).
Internationalization of small and medium-sized enterprises

Abstract: Highly developed countries, which are similar to Croatia by size and population, highlight the importance of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as holders of export activities and key factors in raising the competitiveness of the entire economy. In this paper authors research the concept of internationalization of SMEs. Analyzing the influence of decision makers on the process of internationalization and showing its advantages and disadvantages for the respective company and country, this research introduces the most common models on the basis of which this process is implemented in practice. A case study of a small export company from Croatia illustrates the process of internationalization to the U.S. market and provides useful information to the companies which are planning to enter new markets.

Abstract: The paper examines the role of SME sector in Moldova’s economy and its likely implications in the RD processes. There are emphasized several key features of the relationship between knowledge economy, RD and SMEs, and their effect on regional and local communities. Then, a summary of RD particular features in Moldova is presented.The role of SME sector, examined in terms of its performance by ownership and activity types, as a whole and by main firms’ categories (micro-, small, and medium-sized) is analyzed. Small enterprises have been considered as the most adequate solution forpromoting RD in general case. National-level analysis is completed by regional insight into the sector as a whole. Finally, some critical aspects of SMEs’ role in RD in Moldova are discussed.
