Abstract: 主体服务描述和主体服务匹配是利用主体和多主体系统为用户提供各种有效和高效服务的关键.综合考虑了语义和服务质量对匹配的影响,提出了自主单元主体服务描述模型,并在此基础上重点研究了一种支持QoS约束的自主单元语义服务匹配算法.该算法通过语义相似度匹配和服务质量匹配两个过程,有效获得满足给定语义相似度的阈值,且具有最佳服务质量水平的主体服务.

Abstract: The lack of semantic parts, increasing the number of Web services in the Web, and syntactic-based search operation are the main problems of current Web service technologies, these factors make difficult for clients to find a required web service. This paper shows a matchmaking algorithm to discover Semantic Web Services that are satisfying client requirements. It depends on two factors that distinguish it from any conventional Web service discovery algorithm; the first one is using semantic matching technique to overcome shortcoming of keyword matching techniques, the second one is tying Quality of Service (QoS) metrics of Web Service (WS) with fuzzy words that are used in user’s request. At least fifty percent average gain in search relevancy is obtained when our matchmaking algorithm is applied to WSs that are actually matching the chosen fuzzy semantic theme.

Abstract: Unlike the traditional model of information pull, matchmaking is base on a cooperative partnership between information providers and consumers, assisted by an intelligent facilitator (the matchmaker). Refer to some experiments, the matchmaking to be most useful in two different ways: locating information sources or services that appear dynamically and notification of information changes. Effective information and services sharing in distributed such as P2P based environments raises many challenges, including discovery and localization of resources, exchange over heterogeneous sources, and query processing. One traditional approach for dealing with some of the above challenges is to create unified integrated schemas or services to combine the heterogeneous sources. This approach does not scale well when applied in dynamic distributed environments and has many drawbacks related to the large numbers of sources. The main issues in matchmaking are how to represent advertising and request, and how to calculate possibility matching between advertising and request. The advertising and request can represent data or services by using many model of representation. In this paper, we address an approach of matchmaking by considering semantic agreement between sources.
Cognitive Networks Autonomic Decision-making Approach Based on Influence Diagram  [cached]

Abstract: The current research focus on the areas such as definition and system structure of cognitive networks (CNs), with the lack of autonomic decision-making theory and approach. In this paper, we proposed an autonomic decision-making approach based on influence diagram for CNs. Utilizing influence diagram to choose and execute the action which maximized the network overall performance can effectively predict the trend in network performance, archive autonomic decision-making and avoid network performance deterioration. The simulation results show that the CNs autonomic decision-making approach given network the abilities of learning, reasoning and autonomic decision-making without any human intervention. As a result, the network cognition has been archived while the network Quality of Service (QoS) has been guaranteed.
Towards Trustworthy Semantic QoS Based Web Service Description and Discovery

Abstract: The advancement of Web Services (WS) and applications leads to the publication of numerous web services with similar features. Quality of Service (QoS) has become a key factor in selecting a right service from the huge collection of similar web services. Latterly, evolved semantic based approach OWL-S provides expressive functional description and discovery but it fails to support the QoS specifications in service description. To overcome the aforementioned issues, researchers present a novel framework called Trustworthy Semantic QoS based web service description and discovery (TSQoS). The proposed framework has two prominent features that differentiate it from other existing work in this research area. First, capability profile provides more expressive QoS aware functional descriptions through corresponding semantic ontologies that support new Capability Attribute Semantic Matchmaking (CASM) to return functionally matched web services. Second, to achieve automatic service discovery, adaptive trust-aware service selection is proposed based on user s trust policy that implements a service executor. It computes actual QoS provided by the service from the objective values provided by QoS monitoring entities along with subjective evaluations (User feedback) provided by service consumers from their past experience. It also presents an efficient mechanism to determine the actual QoS by considering both published QoS description and computed eminence score. Thus, a service with high eminence score is returned as best service which can provide actual QoS required by the user. Finally, the experimental result shows that the proposed TSQoS based WSDD approach achieves increased precision and recall compared to existing QoS based WSDD approach.

Abstract: The increased complexity resulting from computer networks technologies, devices and application diversity combined with the continuously growing service demands from users, requires a computer network that offers adequate treatment and support to multiservice (voice, video, web applications) and quality of service (QoS) requirements. This management scenario adds complexity to human administration even with the adoption of Policy- Based Management (PBM) systems. In effect, the effectiveness and efficiency of the management model is, typically, directly related with the knowledge and skills of the administrator in order to define a policy database that meets all possible states. In this paper is presented a model with autonomic capabilities that is able to manage quality of service in computer networks pushing towards an autonomic Full Policy-Based Management (FPBM) approach. The proposed model introduces a knowledge layer in a traditional Policy Based Management model so that policies are created in an autonomic way, replacing as such the human interaction in the process of defining the policy database.

Abstract: In order to make up the deficiencies of current Web services matchmaking,this paper presented a novel Web service matching method which based on the vector space model extended with semantic similarity.The experiment shows that the method provides a more precise result compared with the method based on classical vector space model and related semantic Web services matchmaking method.

Abstract: Autonomic management can improve the QoS provided by parallel/ distributed applications. Within the CoreGRID Component Model, the autonomic management is tailored to the automatic - monitoring-driven - alteration of the component assembly and, therefore, is defined as the effect of (distributed) management code. This work yields a semantics based on hypergraph rewriting suitable to model the dynamic evolution and non-functional aspects of Service Oriented Architectures and component-based autonomic applications. In this regard, our main goal is to provide a formal description of adaptation operations that are typically only informally specified. We contend that our approach makes easier to raise the level of abstraction of management code in autonomic and adaptive applications.
