Abstract: The essay offers a general view of western Emilia during the Longobardic reign and, despite scarce sources (written as well as archaeological), brings out the peculiarity of Parma as a crossroad and a border area. Il saggio fornisce un inquadramento d’insieme sull’Emilia occidentale durante il regno longobardo, e sia pure sulla base di una documentazione (scritta e archeologica) piuttosto scarsa individua le specificità di Parma nel suo ruolo di snodo viario e di realtà di confine.

Abstract: small family businesses present a series of peculiarities and challenges, especially when it comes to the management of human resources. this case describes the true situation of an enterprise, restaurante sabor de casa, and portrays the relationship between the founder and successor and its consequences on the practice and policy of human resources. the story is told from the point of view of the successor, who thinks about the situation of the company and his deep involvement in the dynamic and complex stage of working with his mother, the founder of the company, whose performance is that of an entrepreneur, albeit a traditional one. it shows his reflections on the directions the company has taken, the opinions of employees, based on research conducted in 2006 by university students and their questions about the way the contributions of the employees are managed, mainly by recognizing their importance for both the present and the future of the company. this case deals with the complexity of the management of human resources in a family organizational environment.

Aprendizaje sabor-sabor en la adquisición de preferencias gustativas  [cached]

Abstract: En este trabajo, en el que se emplean ratas como sujetos experimentales, ponemos a prueba la hipótesis según la cual el aprendizaje de preferencias adquiridas con respecto a sabores sin consecuencia nutritivas post-ingesta se rige por mecanismos de condicionamiento clásico (por ej., Fedorchak, 1997). Con este objetivo llevamos a cabo dos experimentos. En el Experimento 1 utilizamos un dise o entre-sujetos para analizar el desarrollo de preferencias gustativas condicionadas hacia un sabor inicialmente no preferido (ácido cítrico). Para ello, se emparejó el ácido cítrico con otro sabor de demostrado valor hedónico positivo (sacarina) que carece de poder calórico (Capaldi, Hunter y Lyn, 1997). En el segundo experimento comprobamos la posible naturaleza asociativa de este aprendizaje devaluando el valor reforzante de la sacarina mediante su emparejamiento con una inyección de Cloruro de Litio. En general, los resultados mostraron un efecto de preferencia condicionada hacia el ácido cítrico tras su emparejamiento con la sacarina. Esta preferencia condicionada fue eliminada tras devaluar el valor reforzante de la sacarina mostrando que el mecanismo responsable de la asociación sabor-sabor es de naturaleza asociativa.

Abstract: this article attempts to make known the epistolary, up to now inedited, of sister josefa de los dolores pe?a y lillo, chilean dominican nun from the xviii th century. her text constituted by sixty five letters, addressed to her father confessor, the jesuit manuel alvarez. these letters are kept in the archive of the dominican monastery of santa rosa de lima in santiago, chile. the letters seem a manifestation of confessional discourse which the nuns had to write by order of their father confessors or ecclesiastical autorities. however, the epistolary analysis reveals the transformations of that discoursive pattern, which sor josefa's writing constitutes itself in the support of a selfknowing process and in a construction of woman identity, which is not recognized only in her religious vocation and virtues, but also in her knowing capacity, wisdom and words management.
