Para que serve uma subjetividade? Foucault, tempo e corpo
Cardoso Jr., Hélio Rebello;
Psicologia: Reflex?o e Crítica , 2005, DOI: 10.1590/S0102-79722005000300008
Abstract: the present article main proposition focuses on the turn made by foucault when he takes into a new account the theme of the subjectivity, above all in the last two volumes of history of the sexuality. henceforth, our attention retraces the two characters of the subjectivity definition as a process or practice, it means, our relationship with the time and the creative or transformative dimension of the body. we argue, then, against the assertion that foucault's last issue would imply the return of the subject or of the man that he had previously denied, that the last foucault is consistent with the style that he had been building throughout his past books.
Subjetividade e verdade no último Foucault
Candiotto, Cesar;
Trans/Form/A??o , 2008, DOI: 10.1590/S0101-31732008000100005
Abstract: the constitution of the subject in the investigation of the late foucault is generally dealt with through the perspective of his aesthetics of existence. such approach is mainly due to the reading of the two last volumes of the history of sexuality (1984). however, the present article points out that in his collège de france courses entitled subjectivity and truth (1981) and the hermeneutics of the subject (1982), a different reading can be elaborated. the relation between subjectivity and truth is evidently central in his thinking and its developments are presented from the differences established between philosophy and spirituality, from the articulations between care of the self and knowledge of the self, useful knowledge and useless knowledge, care of the self and conversion to the self, asceticism and truth.
ARTICULA ES ENTRE VERDADE E SUBJETIVIDADE NOS úLTIMOS ESTUDOS DE MICHEL FOUCAULT: SOBRE A SEPARA O ENTRE VERDADE E ESPIRITUALIDADE
Daniel Verginelli Galantin
Synesis , 2012,
Abstract: In this article our goal is to present some of the characteristics which concern the vinculation between truth and subjectivity on Michel Foucault’s 1980 research. So we begin by a short introduction where it’s presented the new axis of our author’s work, the technics of the self. After that we focus in some of the classes from Hermeneutics of the Subject on which Foucault points out a separation between philosophy and spirituality in the middle of the history of philosophy; that separation is due to the emergence of theology. After a quick contraposition between the way which truth and subject are articulated on Foucault’s studies on modernity (made on the 1970’s), and the way they are articulated on classic and hellenic philosophies, we defend that such separation between truth and spirituality may be taken as a significant point by which we can understand the articulation between truth and subjectivity on Foucault’s late work and their political implications.
Genealogy and Subjectivity: An Incoherent Foucault (A Response to Calvert-Minor)  [PDF]
Brian Lightbody
Kritike : an Online Journal of Philosophy , 2010,
Abstract: The essay “Archaeology and Humanism: An Incongruent Foucault”argues, among other things, that Foucault “endorses a kind of humanism.” Moreover, Calvert-Minor attempts to show that withoutsuch an endorsement then the curative aspects regarding Foucault’s genealogy of subjectivity would be nonsensical. To be sure, the author seems to demonstrate that there is a clear tension in Foucault’s oeuvre regarding the Frenchman’s changing stance towards, and at times unconscious embracement of, philosophical humanism. Such a claim, if true, would certainly be damaging to Foucault’s archaeological and genealogical projects as he stridently rejected humanism in all of its myriad forms.

Abstract: According to Foucault, all discursive production implies some kind of will to knowledge. We propose to investigate the type of discourse produced by the philosopher and the type of will that it implies. Understand the speech of Foucault as an experiment that correlates what is said as truth and subjectivity explains what the philosopher himself spoke about this subject. In this paper, we investigated the type of discourse produced by the philosopher and the type of will or subjectivity that underpins it. We will see that the discursive production of Foucault can be a proof that what we are and what we say are not restricted to the order of submission, appeasement, identity and universality. For Foucault, subjectivity is in constant formation and transformation and what we say not only gives us access to truth, but, above all, change our way of being.
Subjetividade, crise e narratividade (Subjectivity, crisis and narrative)
Maria Gercileni Araújo Campos de
Revista Mal-estar e Subjetividade , 2002,
Abstract: We start with the assumption that subjectivity is inbedded in the social, including the ways of organizing the daily experiences, the singular forms of acting, thinking and feeling. Nowadays, the notion of subjectivity moves out from the Modern inheritance, which understood it as equivalent to the notion of self-reflective subject within the cartesean frames. Subjectivity isn t reduced to the coincidence with itself - the principle of identity - and shouldn t be misconceptualized as the interior accessibility of reflective action. Subjectivity is beyond the I , the individuality and the self. In this article is discussed the modes of subjectivity productiontaking into consideration the crisis which undertake capitalist societies like Brazil. The discussion is funded in the hypotheses that these societies tend to block the processes of individuation and propagate processes of individualization in series. Human beings by feeling threatened in the singularities of their styles of living, end up organizing their experiences according to the universal patterns that manufacture individualities which are manipulated in series. These patterns are conveyed as emblems through media channels. The notion of subjectivity is discussed as ethos, and the notion of narrative experience in the terms of Walter Benjamin, articulating psychotherapeutic and psychoanalytic settings, as spaces offered by the XXth century civilization, where it may be tried to rescue the possibility of singularization and historicity of subjectivities.

Wilton Garcia
This text presents a critical reflection of communication and technology as production of knowledge and subjectivity, considering the sociopolitical aspects. How to attribute new dimensions from ideological to technological values? In this context, an emergent situation about the implantation of the Brazilian system of digital TV (SBTVD) is analyzed. Body, experience and image are putted as critical categories that were introduced during this research, from the language – stratified between culture and representation. The article analyzes the contemporary studies from the cultural researches to the new technologies (analysis about body, culture, language and new technologies). Thus, contemporary studies (BHABHA, 1998; CANCLINI, 1998; COSTA, 2004; EAGLETON, 2005; GUMBRECHT, 1998; HALL, 2003; HUTCHEON, 2000; LéVY, 1999; MATURANA, 1997; YúDICE, 2004) strategically contextualize a theoretical-methodological point of view to demonstrate concepts of upgrading and innovation. The methodology is established by description of objects and their contexts to be investigated in a multidisciplinary way.

Ramminger, Tatiana;Nardi, Henrique Caetano;
Interface - Comunica??o, Saúde, Educa??o , 2008, DOI: 10.1590/S1414-32832008000200009
Abstract: this article intends to contribute towards the field of studies on the relationships between health and work, and particularly regarding discussions on the relationship between subjectivity and work. subjectivity is a concept widely used in psychology, even though there is little consensus about its meaning. this article seeks to discuss the concept of subjectivity in michel foucault's work, and suggests that this may be a strategic concept, in that it makes it possible to think in terms of the indissociability between individual and collective, interior and exterior, inside and outside, and individual and society. through this, the dichotomies traditionally present in the field of psychology and in studies on the relationship between work and health are broken.

Abstract This article aims to reflect on the construction of female subjectivity and the meanings produced from the amount that the body assumes in actuality, with the contribution theoric of psychoanalysis. The influence of media is discussed, especially in advertising, design values of contemporary female body as well as the value conferred upon it in our current society ruled by consumerism and "morality of the spectacle." After the reflection of the elements treated concluded that the manner of women relate to their body is the desire to obtain the gaze of the Other. Thus, it will be in the search of this gaze that the female subject built her subjectivity.
