Two criteria for trascendental sequences
Jaroslav Han?l
Le Matematiche , 2001,
Abstract: The concept of trascendental sequence is defined in this contribution by means of the related trascendental series. The main results are two criteria for when certain sequences are trascendental. Several applications are presented.
La suspensión de la ética en el Malestar de la libertad: lo Divino y el destino = The suspension of ethics in the discomfort of freedom: the divine and the destiny
Valentim, Inácio
Teocomunica??o , 2011,
The purpose of this article is to demonstrate the ethical-practical conflict in the relation between the divine-fate and human beings. The incessant search for liberty and knowledge by human beings has been the principal factor in the suspension of the ethic. This freedom and wisdom invaded and disappropriated the exclusive space of the divine-fate resulting in the necessity for a new postcreation approach such as the fixed and contractual rules which will bind the human being to the divine-fate from now on.
Philosophy and dance conversing. When philosophy enlightens dance as concept of being and experience of the divine Filosofia e danza in dialogo.
In this essay we have two forms of wisdom conversing, on one hand the philosopher’s and on the other the dancer’s. Two wisdoms only apparently distant. The one, expressed through the philosophical language typical of the early Maurice Merleau-Porty; the other gained through the practice of classical ballet typical of the French dancer Mireille Nègre. The reflections and the research paths carried out by the main characters of this virtual conversation revolve around a fascinating and mysterious thematic knot: the body of Jesus of Nazareth and the body of the dancer express the same experience, they trace a circular movement that joins human and divine, sky and earth, visible and invisible. Both authors recognize that the human body is capable of God. If the incarnation of Jesus stands for the implementation of a horizontal relationship between man and God, dance can be then experienced as a real and ineffable encounter with the absolute that mysteriously unfolds in the dancing body.
Abstract: This article intends to insist once again in the relationship between Catherine of Genoa (1447-1510), the Company of the Divine Love in Genoa, and the foundation of the regular clergys. Though apparently it is not related to Saint Catherine of Genoa to the foundation of the Divine Love of Genoa, there are motives to think that existed links.

Abstract: The coordinated activities at centromeres of two key cell cycle kinases, Polo and Aurora B, are critical for ensuring that the two sister kinetochores of each chromosome are attached to microtubules from opposite spindle poles prior to chromosome segregation at anaphase. Initial attachments of chromosomes to the spindle involve random interactions between kinetochores and dynamic microtubules, and errors occur frequently during early stages of the process. The balance between microtubule binding and error correction (e.g., release of bound microtubules) requires the activities of Polo and Aurora B kinases, with Polo promoting stable attachments and Aurora B promoting detachment. Our study concerns the coordination of the activities of these two kinases in vivo. We show that INCENP, a key scaffolding subunit of the chromosomal passenger complex (CPC), which consists of Aurora B kinase, INCENP, Survivin, and Borealin/Dasra B, also interacts with Polo kinase in Drosophila cells. It was known that Aurora A/Bora activates Polo at centrosomes during late G2. However, the kinase that activates Polo on chromosomes for its critical functions at kinetochores was not known. We show here that Aurora B kinase phosphorylates Polo on its activation loop at the centromere in early mitosis. This phosphorylation requires both INCENP and Aurora B activity (but not Aurora A activity) and is critical for Polo function at kinetochores. Our results demonstrate clearly that Polo kinase is regulated differently at centrosomes and centromeres and suggest that INCENP acts as a platform for kinase crosstalk at the centromere. This crosstalk may enable Polo and Aurora B to achieve a balance wherein microtubule mis-attachments are corrected, but proper attachments are stabilized allowing proper chromosome segregation.

Abstract: Reconcilia o Divina, Humana e Planetária: o desafio do amor divino diante da crise existencial humana e ecológica (Divine, Human and Planetary reconciliation: the challenge of divine love against the human and ecological existential crisis) Pretende-se, num primeiro momento, fazer um estudo sobre o modelo salvífico da reconcilia o, apresentando (1) as causas do afastamento humano, (2) a barreira do pecado, (3) a obra de Deus em Cristo, bem como (3) sua manifesta o de amor. Abstract At first, it is intended to do a study about this reconciliatory theology, stating (1) the reasons for the human separation, (2) the barrier of sin, (3) the work of God in Christ, as well as (4) his expression of love. A second time, it will raise about the subjective aspect of reconciliation, ie the christian re-action to the model. A third time will be about the new relationship of equality that the human being can experience. Three important issues will be spoken concerning to this new relationship proposed by God: (1) the reconciliation with God, (2) the human reconciliation and (3) the cosmic/planetary reconciliation, where all nature is in harmony with God and humanity. The article’s intention is to present the divine love as a solution able to validate this divine and reconciliatory relationship; an action that inaugurated by death of Christ on the cross, becomes real and effective for all mankind. This love delivered, which is offered indiscriminately, happens unconditionally to all that, excited by the good news of reconciliation

Acta Medica Medianae , 2012,
Abstract: The aim of our research was to determine the connection between the conative characteristics and success in water polo. The sample of participants for this research can be defined as the population of water polo swimmers (N=60) aged 16 to 18 years, who were only included in the study under the condition that they had taken part in the water polo training process for a period of at least four years. In order to evaluate their conative regulatory mechanisms, we relied on six primary variables: the activity regulator (EPSILON), the organic function regulator (HI), the defense reaction regulator (ALFA), the attack reaction regulator (SIGMA), the system for the coordination of regulatory functions (DELTA), the system for the integration of regulatory functions (ETA), all of which were selected so that the structure of the analysis could be carried out on the basis of the cybernetic. For the evaluation of the criterion variables, we used two variables. The first variable represents the relationship between the number of times a participant played for his team and the number of achieved victories during these matches, and the second variable represents the evaluation of technical ability on the basis of the participants’ performance on certain tests related to water polo. The relations between conative characteristics and success in water polo were determined using a canonical correlation analysis. A correlation analysis was carried out and it indicated a very high correlation between conative characteristics and success in water polo. During the training and competitive process of water polo players, the training components were well balanced, which could mean that they were optimally focused on the development of the relevant motor skills, which correlate with conative characteristics and make up the basis for the training process of water polo players.
