Abstract:
The Health Department of Turkish National Assembly Government has published series of monographs (19) called Türkiye’nin S hhi-i ve timai Co rafyas between 1922-1938 to describe the health problems as well as other aspects of social life in each city. Each book was prepared through the Health Authority of a certain city and describes health issues and social life through using questionnaires in six sections. All these monographs were written based on field-work analyses regarding the certain city or area. The idea behind the preparation of these monographs was to identify the problems and to make a road map for the solutions of these problems. One of these monographs is about K rklareli. This study focuses on the description of this monograph since it is one of the few resources that describe the daily life in K rklareli during two years of occupation.

Abstract:
In this study, the researcher examined the First Police School in Konya using ‘Document Analysis Technique’ with which the researcher analyzed some pictures, curriculum documents and some formal documents received from the archives of the Police General Directorate in Ankara. The researcher described the history of the school, curriculum of the school with the courses taken during the police candidates’ education, the issues of the entrance to the school, graduation from the school, and its closeness with the reasons. The researcher also added the appendices (ten appendices) at the end of the paper.

Abstract:
Musa Kaz m Beg was born in 1858, graduated from French department of Galatasaray High School in 1887 and taught in Kastamonu High School. In 1899, he came to Ankara and was assigned to French teacher and at the same time he was the second principle of Ankara High School after Pertev Beg. While he was the principle of Ankara High School, he gave lectures of teaching in Ankara Teacher Training College. He gathered his lectures in his monument “Rehber-i Tedris ve Terbiye”. He managed to publish first volume in 1894 and second volume in 1897. This work is mostly about his views about profession of teaching and his basic approaches about the occupation. Musa Kaz m Beg in this two volumes work presents the required occupational courses in this term and in addition the work reflects the pedagogical understanding of the term. Abstract:
The Ottoman Empire was a huge civilization which was an associationed in its every parts. One of the most important association of these were lmiye organization. Except for (Ottoman) ruler, sovereign strength and directors of the administrative, military and public work was provided from ilmiye organization. Briefly, Mekteb, has educated children; Medrese, has informed with scientific and religious knowledge and Enderun, melted in different cultures in melting pot in Ottomans.

Abstract:
We first introduce the concept of (k,k',k'')-domination numbers in graphs, which is a generalization of many domination parameters. Then we find lower and upper bounds for this parameter, which improve many well-known results in literatures.

Abstract:
New data are presented on $J/\psi \to \omega K^+K^-$ from a sample of 58M $J/\psi$ events in the upgraded BES II detector at the BEPC. There is a conspicuous signal for $f_0(1710) \to K^+K^-$ and a peak at higher mass which may be fitted with $f_2(2150) \to K\bar K$. From a combined analysis with $\omega \pi ^+ \pi ^-$ data, the branching ratio $BR(f_0(1710)\to\pi\pi)/BR(f_0(1710) \to K\bar K)$ is $< 0.11$ at the 95% confidence level.

Abstract:
Using 14M psi(2S) events taken with the BES-II detector, chi_cJ-->K+K-K+K- decays are studied. For the four-kaon final state, the branching fractions are B(chi_c0,1,2 -->K+K-K+K-)=(3.48\pm 0.23\pm 0.47)\times 10^{-3}, (0.70\pm 0.13\pm 0.10)\times 10^{-3}, and (2.17\pm 0.20\pm 0.31)\times 10^{-3}. For the \phi K+K- final state, the branching fractions, which are measured for the first time, are B(chi_c0,1,2-->\phi K+K-)=(1.03\pm 0.22\pm 0.15)\times 10^{-3}, (0.46\pm 0.16\pm 0.06)\times 10^{-3}, and (1.67\pm 0.26\pm 0.24)\times 10^{-4}. For the \phi\phi final state, B(chi_{c0,2}-->\phi\phi)=(0.94\pm 0.21\pm 0.13)\times 10^{-3} and (1.70\pm 0.30\pm 0.25)\times 10^{-3}.

Abstract:
Using chiral low energy theorems and elastic unitarity assumption, the $\tau\to\pi K \nu $ decay is investigated. The vector and scalar $\pi K$ form factors are calculated. It is found that the $\pi K$ spectrum is dominated by the $K^*$ resonance. By measuring the forward-backward asymmetry, it is shown that the S wave $\pi K$ phase shift can be determined near the $K^{*}$ resonance region. The calculated branching ratio and resonance parameters are in good agreement with experiments.

Abstract:
The decays of $J/\psi \to \omega K\bar{K}\pi$ and $J/\psi \to \phi K\bar{K}\pi$ are studied using $5.8 \times 10^{7}$ $J/\psi$ events collected with the Beijing Spectrometer (BESII) at the Beijing Electron-Positron Collider (BEPC). The $K^{0}_{S}K^{\pm}\pi^{\mp}$ and $K^{+}K^{-}\pi^{0}$ systems, produced in $J/\psi \to \omega K\bar{K}\pi$, have enhancements in the invariant mass distributions at around 1.44 GeV/$c^{2}$. However, there is no evidence for mass enhancements in the $K\bar{K}\pi$ system in $J/\psi \to \phi K\bar{K}\pi$. The branching fractions of $J/\psi \to \omega K^{0}_{S}K^{\pm}\pi^{\mp}$, $\phi K^{0}_{S}K^{\pm}\pi^{\mp}$, $\omega K^{*}\bar{K}+c.c.$, and $\phi K^{*}\bar{K}+c.c.$ are obtained, and the $J/\psi \to \eta K^{0}_{S}K^{\pm}\pi^{\mp}$ branching fraction is measured for the first time.

Abstract:
We introduce the class $\Sigma_k(d)$ of $k$-stellated (combinatorial) spheres of dimension $d$ ($0 \leq k \leq d + 1$) and compare and contrast it with the class ${\cal S}_k(d)$ ($0 \leq k \leq d$) of $k$-stacked homology $d$-spheres. We have $\Sigma_1(d) = {\cal S}_1(d)$, and $\Sigma_k(d) \subseteq {\cal S}_k(d)$ for $d \geq 2k - 1$. However, for each $k \geq 2$ there are $k$-stacked spheres which are not $k$-stellated. The existence of $k$-stellated spheres which are not $k$-stacked remains an open question. We also consider the class ${\cal W}_k(d)$ (and ${\cal K}_k(d)$) of simplicial complexes all whose vertex-links belong to $\Sigma_k(d - 1)$ (respectively, ${\cal S}_k(d - 1)$). Thus, ${\cal W}_k(d) \subseteq {\cal K}_k(d)$ for $d \geq 2k$, while ${\cal W}_1(d) = {\cal K}_1(d)$. Let $\bar{{\cal K}}_k(d)$ denote the class of $d$-dimensional complexes all whose vertex-links are $k$-stacked balls. We show that for $d\geq 2k + 2$, there is a natural bijection $M \mapsto \bar{M}$ from ${\cal K}_k(d)$ onto $\bar{{\cal K}}_k(d + 1)$ which is the inverse to the boundary map $\partial \colon \bar{{\cal K}}_k(d + 1) \to {\cal K}_k(d)$.
