O conceito de media??o em Vigotski e Adorno

Abstract: this article discusses the mediation concept based in vigotsky and adorno, reputed authors in social and educational psychology. although these authors are influenced by marxism and focused on culture, their approaches are different. vigotsky outlines the concept of mediation from the social-historical perspective, while adorno analyzes the contradictions in meditation under a critical theory by the frankfurtian. on the other hand, vigotsky understands the mediation as cultural process by learning, based on marxian referential and the critique of developmental naturalization in the acquisition of superior functions. in vigotski the mediation establishes a liaison, the sign, the activity and the consciousness interact socially. for adorno, the mediation, if mystified as a result of action and subjectivity, surpasses itself a contradiction: the objectification of culture and education and in the formation; risk of establishing a false consciousness. the epistemological discussion goes beyond sociology and psychology and slips in the subject-object relation.

Abstract: That work intends, with base in some texts of Theodor Adorno and of Walter Benjamin, to discuss the meaning of the “resistance” concepts and of “conformism” for such authors. These concepts are not elaborated in way explicit or systematic by both, to the opposite they are related subtlety the some aspects of the contemporary social life, as the disappearance of the experience, the decline of the narration, the loss of the sense of the history and the consequent suppression of the memory, the appearance of the cultural industry. Of that it sorts things out, explicit those concepts, especially when referred the those subjects, it helps us not only to understand the conception of Benjamin and Adorno, but also your judgements on the cultural scene of the beginning of the century - without, though, to intend to establish a model of what can be the resistance or the conformism. Este trabalho pretende, com base em alguns textos de Theodor Adorno e de Walter Benjamin, discutir o significado dos conceitos de “resistência” e de “conformismo” para tais autores. Esses conceitos n o s o elaborados de modo explícito ou sistemático por ambos; ao contrário, s o sutilmente relacionados a alguns aspectos da vida social contemporanea, como o desaparecimento da experiência, o declínio da narra o, a perda do sentido da história e a conseqüente supress o da memória, e o surgimento da indústria cultural. Dessa maneira, explicitar esses conceitos, especialmente quando referidos a essas quest es, ajuda-nos n o só a entender a concep o de Benjamin e de Adorno, mas também seus juízos sobre a cena cultural do início do século XX - sem, todavia, pretender estabelecer um modelo do que possa ser a resistência ou o conformismo. Abstract: [es]Intentaremos en este trabajo explorar la noción de Experiencia Estética en la obra de Theodor Adorno, entendiéndola como una compleja mediación conceptual que nos puede permitir dar cuenta de las oscuras configuraciones de la relación entre arte, cultura y conocimiento en la producción del pensador de Frankfurt. En este marco, cruzaremos las reflexiones estéticas adornianas con lecturas más cercanas a nuestro campo disciplinar, como la noción de Industria Cultural y la interpretación del mito y su derivación en la conformación de la racionalidad moderna. [en] In this work, we will try to explore the notion of Aesthetic Experience in Theodor Adorno`s work, understanding it as a complex conceptual mediation that can allow us getting in the dark settings of the relationship between art, culture and knowledge in the production of Frankfurt`s thinker. Like this, we are going to cross adornians aesthetic reflections with readings that are going to be closer to our disciplinary field, as the notion of cultural industry and the interpretation of myth and its derivation in the configuration of modern rationality.

Abstract: this theoretical article discusses some ideas of theodor adorno about freedom, as part of the critical theory of society, developed by the frankfurt school. this discussion aims to provide some tools to social psychology, since this theme has not been frequently discussed. in order to carry out this theoretical research, adorno's major work, negative dialectics, was selected inasmuch as it approaches this issue more profoundly. adorno points out the maleficence of freedom restraint due to individual, metaphysical, material, ontological, or empirical criteria. for him, although freedom is experienced by the individual, it possesses a close connection with mankind, since it is related to ethical, private, and universal matters. after all, freedom is the principle that should guide moral actions.

Abstract: A concep o de filosofia formulada por Adorno foi impulsionada principalmente pela sua rea o crítica a sistemas com pretens es totalitárias: nazismo, stalinismo e a sociedade produtora de mercadorias. A filosofia representa um refúgio para a liberdade diante dessas estruturas: ela dá voz ao n o-idêntico. A capacidade de subverter os ordenamentos conceituais e sociais é implícita ao próprio pensamento, que se articula na forma de constela es em devir. A aproxima o da dialética com o materialismo, concebido enquanto primazia do objeto, fortalece a filosofia na sua potencialidade crítica, na sua proximidade com a realidade e com a liberdade. Resulta daí uma filosofia renovada, simultaneamente aberta e comprometida com a verdade. A proposta deste artigo é apresentar a interdependência desses conceitos e apontar para a relevancia da concep o de filosofia que deles emerge. The philosophical conception formulated by Adorno was mainly driven forward by his critical reaction to systems with totalitarian pretensions, such as Nazism, Stalinism and the product manufacturing society. The philosophy represents a refuge for freedom facing these structures: it gives voice to the non-identical. The ability to subvert the conceptual and social order is implicit in the thought itself, which is expressed as constellations to come. The dialectic approach with materialism, as the primacy of the object, strengthens the philosophy in its critical potential, in its proximity to reality and freedom. The result is a renewed philosophy, both open and committed to the truth. The purpose of this paper is to show the interdependence of these concepts and point to the relevance of the philosophical concept that emerges from them.

Abstract: this article analyses the concept of enlightenment in horkheimer, adorno and freud. therefore, it traces a parallel between two of the most representative works of these authors in terms of cultural criticism: the concept of enlightenment and the future of an illusion, respectively. although an initial approach might suggest different theoretical perspectives, we emphasize that they can be taken as complementary in defense of a more adequate using of conceptual thought.

Abstract: this article analyzes the concept of individual utilized by adorno in the social critic which marked the social research institute during the 40s. in order to do this, it studied many aphorisms of the minima moralia book. the main question is the possible relation between the annulment of individuality and the possibilities of resistance of the individual reported by the author. in this sense, concepts like individuality, monad, isolation, privilege, humiliation, moral duty, solidarity and resistance are analyzed.

Abstract: The text approaches the beauty and the sublime under the perspective of its intersections and of its function as barrier (the beauty), and as path to the reaching of desire (the sublime). From the kantian contribution to the notion of the Sublime along with the anxiety affect witch characterizes it, the concept of sublimation can be taken as a form of well saying, witch participates of a tragic-baroque esthetic, according with an impure desire ethic. Thereafter the text approaches the consequences of this elaboration on the transmission of the psychoanalysis and the formation of the analysts.
