Abstract: V prispevku je prikazan motiv mesta v slovenski mladinski knji evnosti v tirih razli nih obdobjih, od za etkov v prvem obdobju izvirne slovenske mladinske knji evnosti v drugi polovici 19. stoletja, v drugem obdobju oziroma v prvi polovici 20. stoletja, v tretjem obdobju oziroma po letu 1950, ko nastanejo bistvene kratke sodobne pravljice s poudarkom na slikani ki knji ni izdaji in realisti ni pripovedni prozi in v etrtem obdobju oziroma po letu 1990. Vidni premik je v 30. letih 20. stoletja oziroma v asu socialnega realizma. Izrazitej e mno i ne selitve iz va kega okolja v mestno zaradi industrializacije so opazne po letu 1960. Motiv urbanega okolja je po letu 1990 posebno zaznamoval sodobno realisti no pripoved, imenovano problemska pripovedna proza, z osredoto enostjo tudi na problematiko sodobnega odra anja v tem okolju. Motivno-tematsko se mesto ne pojavlja le v realisti ni pripovedi temve tudi v fantasti ni pripovedi e od za etkov 20. stoletja. Slovenska mladinska realisti na pripoved tako dihotomi no spremlja podobo realnega mesta.
Pontryagin's maximum principle and optimization of the flight phase in ski jumping [Pontrjagin v princip maxima a optimalizace stylu letu ve skoku na ly ích]

Abstract: BACKGROUND: There are several factors (the initial ski jumper's body position and its changes at the transition to the flight phase, the magnitude and the direction of the velocity vector of the jumper's center of mass, the magnitude of the aerodynamic drag and lift forces, etc.), which determine the trajectory of the jumper ski system along with the total distance of the jump. OBJECTIVE: The objective of this paper is to bring out a method based on Pontryagin's maximum principle, which allows us to obtain a solution of the optimization problem for flight style control with three constrained control variables – the angle of attack (a), body ski angle (b), and ski opening angle (V). METHODS: The flight distance was used as the optimality criterion. The borrowed regression function was taken as the source of information about the dependence of the drag (D) and lift (L) area on control variables with tabulated regression coefficients. The trajectories of the reference and optimized jumps were compared with the K = 125 m jumping hill profile in Fren tát pod Radho těm (Czech Republic) and the appropriate lengths of the jumps, aerodynamic drag and lift forces, magnitudes of the ski jumper system's center of mass velocity vector and it's vertical and horizontal components were evaluated. Admissible control variables were taken at each time from the bounded set to respect the realistic posture of the ski jumper system in flight. RESULTS: It was found that a ski jumper should, within the bounded set of admissible control variables, minimize the angles (a) and (b), whereas angle (V) should be maximized. The length increment due to optimization is 17%. CONCLUSIONS: For future work it is necessary to determine the dependence of the aerodynamic forces acting on the ski jumper system on the flight via regression analysis of the experimental data as well as the application of the control variables related to the ski jumper's mental and motor abilities. Abstract: Edo Mihevc (1911–1985) je bil eden protagonistov slovenske moderne arhitekture po drugi svetovni vojni in eden Ple nikovih tudentov, ki se je lo il od njegove manire ter zakorakal na pot samoizraznosti in iskanja skladja med modernizmom, regionalizmom in humanisti no filozofijo. Pomen njegovega prispevka slovenski arhitekturi in kulturi je predstavljen skozi perspektivo ve razse nostne dejavnosti, s poudarkom na vlogi urbanista slovenske obale. Posamezni deli iz njegovega opusa so predstavljeni z vidika asa nastanka, uporabe in arhitekturne vrednosti, pomen in vloga zamisli ter trendov pa skozi dela. V lu i sodobnih doktrin varovanja kulturne dedi ine, pravo asna ocena in minimalno varstvo njegove arhitekture mora biti dose eno, tudi za mojstrovine iz bli nje preteklosti.

Abstract: Bagranje in ravnanje s sedimentom se v ve ini primerov obravnava kot tehnologijo, ki omogo a izgradnjo in vzdr evanje plovnih poti. V raziskavi, ki sem jo izdelal v sklopu magistrske naloge, sem elel predstaviti na in, kako lahko bagranje pripomore k prostorskemu urejanju slovenske obale. Slovenska obala je relativno kratka in omejena, ob njej so veliki poselitveni interesi. Zaradi tega obstajajo te nje po dalj anju obale s pomo jo nasipavanja oz. ustvarjanja umetnih otokov in polotokov. Velikokrat se nasipava zaradi izgradnje pomolov, za potrebe marin in ostalih pristani . Cilj raziskave je bil obrniti ta trend, ki bi se izognil kr enju morskih povr in in tako izkoristiti kanale ter raz iriti oz. ustvariti nove vodne povr ine za potrebe gospodarskih dejavnosti ali zaradi varovanja okolja. Da bi to dosegel, je bilo potrebno najprej preu iti zakonodajo ter poiskati ustrezen na in za ravnanje z izkopanim sedimentom. Ko smo zagotovili nadaljnje ravnanje s sedimentom, je mo no upo tevati bagranje kot pomemben dejavnik pri predlagani prostorski ureditvi slovenske obale.

Abstract: We present intermediate resolution spectroscopy and near infrared photometry of NOVA Sco 2001 (V1178 Sco), which was first detected May 13th 2001 and reported June 21th 2001, and obtained by us the same day. We also retrieved very accurate astrometry of the target in this very crowded field. This is needed to be able to do follow up observations of the postnova during the next years. The spectrum shows an overall expansion of 2100 km/s and has clearly complex, and most likely nonsymmetric, outflow substructures. We clearly identify this object as classical nova, "Fe II" subclass.

Abstract: The use of three dimensional – 3D models is becoming ever more frequent as clients increasingly appreciate their high level of usefulness. This article provides one of several possible compositions of a 3D city model by a presentation of an area of a 3D model, and the organisation of the vector cartographic model. This article focuses on the data required in the composition of a 3D model, its preparation and processing until the final dynamic visualization. The practical example of a 3D city model is based on Slovenske Konjice, where the emphasis is on the making of 3D models of buildings.

Abstract: We present an analysis of low- and medium resolution spectra of the very fast nova, Nova Cygni 2001/2 (V2275 Cyg) obtained at nine epochs in August, September and October, 2001. The expansion velocity from hydrogen Balmer lines is found to be 2100 km/s, although early H-alpha profile showed a weak feature at -3500 km/s, too. The overall appearance of the optical spectrum is dominated by broad lines of H, He and N, therefore, the star belongs to the ``He/N'' subclass of novae defined by Williams (1992). Interstellar lines and bands, as well as BV photometry taken from the literature yielded to a fairly high reddening of E(B-V)=1.0+/-0.1 mag. The visual light curve was used to deduce M_V by the maximum magnitude versus rate of decline relationship. The resulting parameters are: t_0=2452141.4(+0.1)(-0.5), t_2=2.9+/-0.5 days, t_3=7+/-1 days, M_V=-9.7+/-0.7 mag. Adopting these parameters, the star lies between 3 kpc and 8 kpc from the Sun.

Abstract: CCD photometry of the type Ia SN 2001V occured in the edge-on spiral galaxy NGC 3987 is presented. The observations made through Johnson-Cousins BVRI filters were collected from Feb. 24 (t = -8 days, with respect to B-maximum), up to May 5 (t = +62 days). The light curves are analyzed with the revised Multi-Colour Light Curve Shape (MLCS) method by fitting template vectors to the observed light curves simultaneously. The reddening of SN 2001V is estimated to be E(B-V)=0.05 mag, while the galactic component is E(B-V) = 0.02 mag, suggesting that part of the reddening may be due to the ISM in the host galaxy. The Delta parameter in MLCS converged to -0.47 mag, indicating that this SN was overluminous relative to the majority of Type Ia SNe. The inferred distance to its host galaxy, NGC 3987, is 74.5 \pm 5 Mpc, which is in good agreement with recently determined kinematic distances, based on radial velocity corrected for Virgo-infall and Hubble constant H_0 = 65 km/s/Mpc.

Abstract: In the paper relatively modestly preserved but very numerous pteropod remains from Middle Miocene – Badenianmicaceous marlstones of Poli~ki Vrh locality in Slovenske gorice, northeastern part of Slovenia are described.The fossils were attributed to the pteropod family Cliidae Jeffreys, 1869, respectively the species Clio pedemontana(Mayer, 1868). They represent the first documented finds of this species in Slovenia, and so far also the southernmostoccurrence of the pteropods belonging to this species in Neogene beds of the Styrian basin in the Central Paratethys.
