Jurnal Manajemen & Agribisnis , 2012,
Abstract: The oil palm replanting program is becoming of importance for the next decade as some of oil palm plantations are reaching the productivity peak. This research was aimed to select the priority of oil palm replanting strategy with respect to the related factors and impacts to the share holders of PIR Trans and KPPA plantation of PT. AGROWIYANA , and to identify key success indicators of replanting model. A discriptive research methodoligy was carried out using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) involving multi stakeholders of PT. AGROWIYANA . Results of this research indicated that financial is considered as the most important factor for replanting implemention with the total cutting using standard technology as chosen replanting strategy. The funding scheme through intensive fund rising IDAPERTABUN needs to be well prepared to involve more farmer groups. Keywords: PT. AGROWIYANA , Replanting Strategy

Modern Economy (ME) , 2017, DOI: 10.4236/me.2017.812098
Abstract: This study is assessing the effect of small crops farmers’ education to accessibility and utilization of the financing pattern of crops. The analytical tool used is different, whether there is a difference for crop farmers with high educated middle class and lower educated small crops farmers. Research location is in Jambi, in two districts of Tanjung Jabung Barat and Muaro Jambi. The locations taken are SimburNaik Village in Tanjung Jabung regency and Gedung Karya in Muaro Jambi. The result of the research shows that there are different financing patterns used by the high educated small crops farmer with the lower educated small crops farmers. Highly educated farmers tend to use formal financing patterns, while middle and lower-income farmers tend to use informal financing patterns.

Abstract: This study aims (1) to analyze the performances among regencies/ cities in Jambi Province, and (2) to categorize the regencies/ cities in Jambi Province based on economic, human resources, and infrastructure development performances. Datas used in this study are secondary data of 2009-2012 from Statistics Indonesia, consists of eight component indicators to assess the performance of economic development, the five component indicators to assess the performance of the components of human resources development, and eight component indicators to assess the performance of infrastructure development. The analytical method used to achieve the objectives of the first research purposes is principal component analysis (PCA) which followed by factor analysis and to achieve the third purpose is cluster analysis. The results showed that (1) Jambi City is ranked first in the overall development performance, followed by of Tanjab Barat and Batang Hari Regencies, (2) four clusters of regencies/ cities in Jambi Province are formed based on the performance of development, namely: cluster I (Kerinci, Merangin, and Tebo Regencies) have lower performance of regional development, cluster II (Tanjab Timur Regency) has average to high performance of regional development, cluster III (Sarolangun, Batang Hari, Muaro Jambi, Tanjab Barat, Bungo Regencies, and Sungai Penuh City) have average performance of regional development, and cluster IV (Jambi City) has high performance of regional development.

Open Journal of Forestry (OJF) , 2014, DOI: 10.4236/ojf.2014.41013
Abstract:

Amid the euphoria of Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation (REDD) and REDD+ discussions, the expectations of large financial gains raise the interest of all. A country, however, will only enjoy REDD benefits if the cost of REDD is lower than the benefit. The opportunity cost analysis is an effective tool for assessing the feasibility of REDD+ since the largest portion of costs associated with REDD+ and can help to identify fair compensation for those who change their land use. The opportunity cost analysis has been exercised in Tanjung Jabung Barat (Tanjabar) district-Indonesia to examine the economic-feasibility of carbon emission reduction under different type carbon price scenarios. This study reveals a sharp decline of land-use systems with high carbon-stock and low profitability is obvious. On mineral soil, low carbon-stock and high profitability (mostly oil palm) has increased rapidly, especially in the period 2000-2009. It has become the dominant land-use system. The low-to-medium carbon stock and medium profitability land-use category increased from 1990 to 2005 but declined from 2005 to 2009. The low carbon-stock and low profitability category was constant and the proportion of the area was below 15%. The ex-ante analysis in predicting the potential for future emissions reduction in Tanjabar through REDD+ approaches shows that the cumulative emission of Tanjabar in 2020 is estimated at 61.91 Mg CO

Biodiversitas , 2000,
Abstract: Plankton, an aquatic biota, often used as an indicator of water quality. The objectives of the research were to know: (1) diversity of both phyto- and zooplankton at Jabung swamp, East Java; (2) water quality at the swamp, and (3) diversity of fish that act as primary consumer of the plankton. Field sampling procedures were done at the swamp, followed with identification and data analysis at laboratory. Sampling locations were at the inlet, pools in the swamp and at the outlet. Sample were taken triplicate at each location between September and November, 1999 using a plankton net, while fish data were collected by interview and direct observation at the field. Thirty-one species of plankton were found in this research consisting of 17 species of phytoplankton and 14 species of zooplankton. The results of the plankton analysis indicate that Jabung swamp categorizes as moderately polluted at the inlet, polluted free at the pools inside the swamp, and lightly polluted at the outlet. There were 15 fish species found at the swamp both of cultivated and non-cultivated fish.

Journal of Applied Technology in Environmental Sanitation , 2011,
Abstract: This paper studied the climate change effect due to optimization of irrigation. Location of study was at Jabung District, Malang Regency, Indonesia. Indication of climate change was analyzed based on climate factors (temperature, humidity, bright shiny, velocity of wind) and rainfall data. Data used in this study was between in the year of 2001 and 2010. The methodology consisted of comparing the result of irrigation optimization before and after climate change. Optimization analysis used linear programming. Result was used as the consideration on allocating water irrigation to get maximized net benefit.

Jurnal Perspektif Pembiayaan dan Pembangunan Daerah , 2015,
Abstract: This study aims to analyze the phenomenon of flypaper on the financial performance of the district / city in the province of Jambi. For this purpose developed two panel data regression model showing the relationship between the behavior of local government expenditure by the regional income. The research found that: 1) Revenue-sharing (DBH), allocation funds (DA), lag operational expenditure (Boit_1) and dummy autonomy (DO) significantly affect the operational expenditure district / city in the province of Jambi. The effect of DA on operating expenditure is greater than from DBH to operational expenditure, which means there flypaper in the district / city in the province of Jambi; 2) Revenue-sharing (DBH), funds allocation (DA), per capita income (Y) and dummy autonomy (DO) significantly affect capital expenditures district/city in the Province of Jambi. The effect of DA on capital expenditure is smaller than from DBH to capital expenditures, which means there flypaper in the district / city in the Province of Jambi where DA tends to be used to finance operating expenditure

天然气地球科学 , 2009,
Abstract: ?
