Abstract: 芍药属Paeonia木本类群,即牡丹组sect.Moutan DC.,为中国特有;广泛栽培的牡丹也起源于 中国。遗憾的是我国学者对牡丹类群的分类一直未予重视,野生类群的标本也很少。90年代以来对该 类群的分类突然热起来,中外学者连续发表了多个新种、新亚种和新等级,但仍然没有一个全面的修订。 在美国地理学会基金资助下,我们几乎踏遇了该类群分布区的各个角落,拜访了所有模式产地(仅一个 例外),对64个居群进行了考察和取样。在性状分析的基础上检查了各个分类群的问题,考证了全部模 式,最后对该类群作出分类修订。本文是对分类历史的回顾,并表述了我们的分类处理:牡丹组共有8个种,其中3个种各包含两个亚种,另有两个杂种。

Abstract: Cladistic analysis of the morphological relationship of 40 populations of Paeonia sect. Moutan DC. (including all wild species) was carried out with an attempt to have a better understanding of the phylogeny of tree peonies. Twenty-five morphological characters were selected and used in unweighted pair-group method using arithmetic averages (UPGMA), the neighbor-joining (NJ) and the maximum parsimony (MP) tree construction executed with PAUP * program. The topologies of the trees obtained were largely in congruence and topological differences occurred only between MP tree and the other two in a clade comprising five species, P. suffruticosa, P. jishanensis, P. qiui, P. rockii and P. ostii, which were considered as closely related species based on both morphological and cytological characters. In both NJ and UPGMA trees, all the populations of each species formed a monophyletic clade, and the clades of P. ludlowii, P. qiui and P. decomposita had strong bootstrap supports (>90%), the clades of P. rockii , P. delavayi had moderate bootstrap supports (>70%), and the clades of P. suffruticosa , P. ostii and P. jishanensis had weak bootstrap supports (51%-70%). In MP tree, however, the corresponding bootstrap values of all the clades mentioned above were generally smaller than those in NJ and UPGMA trees and the populations of P. delavayi , P. ostii and P. suffruticosa failed to form monophyletic clades. Based on the above results, interspecific relationships of wild tree peonies were discussed and a phylogeny of sect. Moutan was reconstructed for the first time.
A Preliminary Study of the Chemistry and Systematics of Paeoniaceae

Abstract: From the root of Paeonia suffruticosa and P. lactiflora seven compounds have been isolated. They are identified as paeoniflorin I, benzoylpaeoniflorin II, oxypaeoniflorin III, paeonol IV, paeonoside V, paeonolide VI and apiopaeonoside VII. The contents of the seven constituents in the root of 23 Paeonia taxa, including 19 species and 6 varieties, are determined by means of the quantitative HPTLC scanning method. The results show that paeoniflorin occurs ubiquitously in all the species examined and is the characteristic constituent of the family Paeoniaceae; The paeonol compounds (IV, V. VI, VII) are found to be restricted to the woody Sect. Moutan and notably absent in the herbaceous Sect. Paeon. This differentiation gives a support to the division of sections in Paeoniaceae. The chemical comparison between Paeoniaceae and 15 possibly related families shows that Paeoniaceae is different from Ranunculaceae, Ranunculales of Magnoliales and is similar to Dilleniaceae, Theaceae and Rosaceae in some respects. The chemical data support the sugges- tion that Paeoniaceae be elevated to the order rank, Paeoniales.
牡芍合剂镇痛作用的药效学研究  [PDF]

Abstract: 目的研究牡芍合剂的镇痛效果。方法小鼠扭体镇痛试验:各组动物给药60min后,立即注射0.4%hac0.4ml/20g,记录15min内各组动物扭体次数;小鼠热板镇痛试验:分别测定各组动物给药后60、120、180min在55℃热板上痛反应时间,以小鼠舔足、跳跃、抬足为指标,记录各组动物痛反应时间。结果牡芍合剂能抑制化学刺激引起小鼠的痛反应;能明显延长小鼠热刺激引起的痛反应时间。结论牡芍合剂组的镇痛效果明显优于定风正痛胶囊组。

Abstract: 目的观察牡芍合剂对骨折术后疼痛模型大鼠丘脑中β-内啡肽(β-ep)及八肽胆囊收缩素(cck-8)的影响,探讨牡芍合剂的镇痛机理。方法选取体重250~300gspf级雄性wistar大鼠,随机分为正常对照组(空白组)、模型组、牡芍合剂治疗组和曲马多对照组,采用brennan术后痛模型,术后曲马多对照组、牡芍合剂治疗组立即给药,给药后1h处死动物取脊髓,采用放射免疫法测定β-ep及cck-8的含量。结果与模型组相比,牡芍合剂能显著升高术后疼痛模型大鼠丘脑中β-ep含量,并降低cck-8的含量。结论牡芍合剂可以促进β-ep的分泌,抑制cck-8的分泌,起到镇痛作用。
Screening of Bioactive Compounds from Moutan Cortex and Their Anti-Inflammatory Activities in Rat Synoviocytes  [PDF]

Abstract: Moutan Cortex, a widely used traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of various diseases, is the root bark of Paeonia suffruticosa Andrews (Paeoniaceae). Most of the pharmacological investigations of Moutan Cortex have been addressed to its central nervous system activities, anti-oxidative and sedative actions. Otherwise, there are few reports about the active compounds with anti-inflammatory activity of Moutan Cortex. The aim of the present study was to screen and identify bioactive compounds with anti-inflammatory effect from Moutan Cortex. With the aid of preparative high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) technique, ethyl acetate and ethanol extract of Moutan Cortex were isolated into twenty-two fractions. Bioactivities of these fractions were evaluated by measuring expression of tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) in rat synoviocytes subjected to interleukin-1β (IL-1β). Eight compounds were isolated from six active fractions and identified by HPLC/MSn. Purified compounds, paeoniflorin, paeonol and pentagalloylglucose resulted in dose-dependent inhibition of TNF-α synthesis and IL-6 production in synoviocytes treated with proinflammatory mediator. These results suggested that paeonol, paeoniflorin, glycosides and pentagalloylglucose contribute to the anti-inflammatory effect of Moutan Cortex.

Abstract: Aims Paeonia delavayi (Paeoniaceae) is an endangered plant restricted to southwestern China. Our objective was to study the numerical population dynamics of the largest and most concentrated natural population in Shangri-La, Yunnan Province, China. Methods The distribution area of P. delavayi was investigated from 2009 to 2011. We studied the numerical dynamics of the population using static life table, survivorship and mortality curves, fecundity schedule and Leslie matrix model. Important findings P. delavayi underwent strong environmental screening at ages three to six years. The physiological life span was about 15 years, and generation span was eight years. The net reproductive rate (R0=0.985 7), intrinsic rate of increase (rm=–0.001 7) and finite rate of increase (λ=0.998 3) were relatively low, indicating that the population was decreasing. The Leslie matrix model showed that plant numbers from seedlings and sprouts declined about 50% during the past 30 years. The survival rate exhibited a steep curve (B1 type). The mortality rate of individuals was different at every stage, and the killing power (Kx) was high at the ages of six and 12 years. The present population is maintained mainly by sprouts and seedlings. Likely key threats to the species are the damaged ecological environment and human disturbances.
THE ANALYSIS OF DISTRIBUTION PATTERN IN THE PAEONIACEAE AND ITS FORMATION

Abstract: 芍药科Paeoniaceae为单属科,芍药属Paeonia L.共30种,隶属三个组,牡丹组Sect.Moutan DC.为该属的木本类型,有6种,分布在中国的一个局部地区,从云南的中部(景东24.4°N)和西藏东部(札囊,90°E)向东北至安徽的巢湖(117.7°E)和陕西延安(36.5°N)。6个种中滇牡丹P.delavayi分布最广,其余5种分布区都比较局限。北美芍药组Sect.Onaepis Lindley 仅2种,是该属最狭域的组,仅分布于北美西部,从太平洋沿岸的俄勒岗州至蒙大拿州,南起加利福尼亚州的圣迭戈(32.7°N),向北至华盛顿州与其它两组成间断分布。芍药组Sect.Paeonia是该属种类最多,分布范围最广的组,包括22种,从亚洲温带东部的色丹岛(146.6°E),至欧洲最西部的葡萄牙和非洲西北部的摩洛哥Demnat省,向南至我国云南的宁南,北缘进入北极圈。本文按照一般学者所能按受的演化趋势,并结合细胞学、生态学和分子系统学研究的初步结果,推论了该属性状演化趋势。结合在世界各区中种数的比较、各区特有种的比较和在中国的分布,得出下列初步结论:(1)牡丹组Sect.Moutan是芍药属中最原始的组;北美芍药组Sect. Onaepia既有一些原始性状,又有特化性状,它是直接从木本类型分化发生的类群,芍药组Sect.Paeonia 是该属最大,分化强烈、有若干复合体,又有不少特化的类型,因而它是芍药属中相对年轻、特化的类群。 (2)东亚区(尤其是中国中部)是芍药属的多样性中心,该区的中国东亚部分,特别是从云南至山西,陕西一线是现存芍药属原始类群分化发展的中心,地中海区是芍药属的种的分化中心,是次生分化中心。(3)随着Sect.Paeonia的成员从中国东亚部分向西、向北迁移,具四倍性和根纺锤状加粗等特化性状的种数增加。
