Antimicrobial activity of Rhodobryum ontariense  [PDF]

Abstract: The antimicrobial activity of dimethyl sulfoxide extract of moss Rhodobryum ontariense (Kindb.) Kindb. was evaluated by microdilution method against eight bacterial (Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Salmonella typhimurium, Enterobacter cloacae, Listeria monocytogens, Bacillus cereus, Micrococcus flavus and Staphylococcus aureus) and five fungal species (Aspergillus versicolor, Aspergillus fumigatus, Penicillium funiculosum, Penicillium ochrochloron and Trichoderma viride). The extract was proven to be active against all the bacteria and funghi tested but to varying degrees. It showed better inhibitory activity compared to the known antifungal drug against T. viride (MIC 100 and 200 μg/ml, respectively). This finding implies that R. ontariense could be considered as a promising material for natural antifungal products.

Abstract: ?研究目的是获得适用于狭边大叶藓(Rhodobryumontariense)遗传多样性研究的ISSR-PCR反应标准化程序。通过单因素试验设计,对Mg2+、dNTPs、TaqDNA聚合酶、模板、引物浓度,以及退火温度、循环次数等影响ISSR扩增的主要因素进行了研究和优化。结果表明,UBC808、UBC811、UBC812、UBC825、UBC826、UBC841、UBC888及UBC891引物适用于该研究;20μLISSR-PCR最适反应体系包括:6ngDNA模板、0.4μmol/L引物、2.25mmol/LMg2+、0.6UTaqDNA聚合酶、0.4mmol/LdNTPs。扩增程序为:94℃预变性4min;然后94℃变性1min,48~50℃(根据不同引物确定)复性2min,72℃延伸1min,共进行40个循环;最后,72℃延伸7min,4℃保存。

Genetic structure of the rare moss species Rhodobryum ontariense in Vojvodina (Serbia) as inferred by isozymes

Abstract: Rhodobryum ontariense (Kindb.) Kindb. (Bryaceae, Bryophyta) is a rare moss, only recently discovered in Serbia (at Deliblatska Sands). After a revision of the genus Rhodobryum in Serbia, it was concluded that all high-mountain records belong to R. roseum, while R. ontariense is confined to the one known locality at Deliblatska Sands. It is listed in the bryophyte red-list of Serbia and Montenegro. Within the single known locality we have counted 15 small sub-populations over a total surface area of 6 hectares. The species is always in sterile condition and has been recorded only on dunes exposed to the north, at the edge of shrub-grassland transition interspersed with fragments of steppe vegetation. No propagules are known. This raised the question of whether the population was once continuous, or whether vectors exist that spread detached plants or fragments to establish new subpopulations. To answer this question an isozyme analysis was performed to estimate the genetic structure of this isolated population. Based on the isozyme forms of superoxide dismutase and peroxidase at least six haplotypes were determined within the population. It can be concluded that the present patches of the moss do not derive from one subpopulation. Some kind of short-distance dispersal exists, but it remains unclear what structures act as propagules and what is the vector for them.

Abstract: 基于标本和文献,对新疆丝瓜藓属(PohliaHedw.)进行全面修订,更正了此前部分标本的错误鉴定,将卵蒴丝瓜藓(Pohliaproligera)和糙枝丝瓜藓(P.camptotrachela)从本区名录中移除,将多态丝瓜藓(P.minor)归并为丝瓜藓多态变种(P.elongatavar.greenii)的异名,新增新疆丝瓜藓属新纪录2种拟长蒴丝瓜藓(P.longicollis)和小丝瓜藓狭叶变种(P.crudoidesvar.revolvens)。[WTBZ]现已知新疆丝瓜藓属有8种,2变种,种数约占全国的1/3。通过分析各个种的识别特征、与相近种的区别和生境,编制了新疆丝瓜藓属分种检索表。

Abstract: 通过对甘肃省金昌市永昌县境内龙首山及周边湿地苔藓植物进行调查鉴定,报道了甘肃省分布的丛藓科(Pottiaceae) 1个新记录属——盐土藓属(Pterygoneurum Jur.)和4个新记录种——卵叶盐土藓[P.ovatum (Hedw.) Dix.]、盐土藓[P.subsessile (Brid.) Jur.]、卷叶墙藓[Tortula atrovirens (Smith) Lindb.]和狭叶链齿藓[Desmatodon cernuus (Hueb.) Bruch & Schimp.]。标本存放于内蒙古大学植物标本馆(HIMC)。

Abstract: 摘要 在近年对新疆苔藓植物详细调查采集和标本鉴定的基础上,发现并报道4个新疆泥炭藓科新记录种,即小叶泥炭藓(Sphagnum angustifolium)、拟狭叶泥炭藓(S.cuspidatulum)、狭叶泥炭藓(S.cuspidatum)、广舌泥炭藓(S.russowii),对它们的主要识别特征和地理分布进行了初步讨论,并制定新疆泥炭藓科分种检索表.除已知泥炭藓科在新疆布尔津县喀纳斯国家级自然保护区的分布外,新增在阿尔泰市、青河县、福海县和哈巴河县的地理分布记录.研究结果为新疆苔藓植物区系提供了新资料.
Abstract:Based on extensive investigation and specimen identification of bryophytes in recent years, four new records of Sphagnaceae species have been reported for Xinjiang Province, namely Sphagnum angustifolium, S.cuspidatulum, S.cuspidatum and S.russowii. The major distinguishing morphological characteristics and geographic distribution of these species are discussed in this paper. The key to species of Sphagnaceae in Xinjiang has been provided. In addition, the geographic distribution of Sphagnaceae in Xinjiang was expanded to include Altai City, Qinghe County, Fuhai County and Habahe County, in addition to Hanas National Nature Reserve in Buerjin County, as previously reported. The results provide additional information on Sphagnaceae for bryoflora of Xinjiang.

Abstract: 该文首次报道了摩拉维采真藓(新拟)在中国的分布。研究表明:(1)摩拉维采真藓的主要识别特征为:叶常聚集在茎顶成莲座状,叶倒卵状披针形至匙形,具长毛尖,具分化边缘,中肋消失于叶尖下,叶细胞长菱形至六边形,叶腋处着生大量单列细胞构成的分枝或不分枝的丝状芽胞。(2)通过对摩拉维采真藓的命名和系统位置的讨论,确认该种是真藓属细叶真藓组的有效种。(3)摩拉维采真藓与近缘种细叶真藓和幽美真藓有诸多相似特征:莲座状的茎顶、有分化边和菱形至六边形中上部细胞的倒卵形叶,但该种以具有大量叶腋生丝状芽胞和叶中肋不及顶等特征区别于细叶真藓的无腋生芽胞、叶中肋突出叶尖成长芒状,以具有叶湿时平展、干时卷曲和叶腋有芽胞等特征区别于幽美真藓的叶湿时内凹、干时紧贴于茎和无腋生芽胞;拟三列真藓、圆叶真藓和灰黄真藓的部分种群都曾报道有与摩拉维采真藓相似的腋生丝状芽胞,但摩拉维采真藓的假根集生于植株基部、叶有狭分化边、叶缘平直、中肋消失于叶尖下而区别于拟三列真藓的茎中下部密被假根、叶有宽分化边、叶缘背卷、中肋及顶或短出,摩拉维采真藓有分化边和长毛尖的倒卵状披针形区别于圆叶真藓叶有无分化边和圆钝叶尖的卵圆形叶,区别于灰黄真藓有中肋及顶和短尖的卵状披针形叶;柔叶真藓有与摩拉维采真藓相似、中肋不及顶的叶,但无芽胞而易与新记录种区分。(4)该种在北温带有较广泛分布,形成欧洲 北亚 中亚 西亚和北美两个主要分布区;作者在四川和新疆等地的发现可以推测摩拉维采真藓在中国可能有更广泛的分布。

Abstract: A total of 38 volatile components were identified in Rhodobryum giganteum (Schwaegr.) Par. collected from two different geographic regions by headspace solid-phase microextraction (HS-SPME), combined with gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS). The volatile components included some aliphatic and aromatic aldehydes, monoterpene hydrocarbons and a sesquiterpene (α-farnesene), with 1-methoxy-2-propyl acetate and n-hexanal being found to be the most abundant volatile components. Analysis of the chemical constituents in the volatile oil of the two samples showed that ten compounds were shared.
