International Journal of Digital Information and Wireless Communications , 2011,
Abstract: Telecommunications technologies are advanced; they introduced new technologies to meet the needs of individuals and organizations to make commercial transactions, where we find the birth of e-commerce after the emergence of the Internet. But this approach has limits like the use of a client / server model, which limit the use of these transactions in anytime and anywhere. Recently and after the emergence of the wireless networking, the commerce increase the range of the E-commerce applications in anytime and anywhere by the technology of mobile commerce. In this article, we propose an approach of mobile commerce based mobile agent with the aim to deploy the mobile agent paradigm for mobile commerce applications.

iBusiness (IB) , 2011, DOI: 10.4236/ib.2011.32026
Abstract: The increased attention of E-auction services in mobile E-commerce demands an approach to identify the relevant auctions as per the bidder’s requirements so as to increase the bidder satisfaction level and auction winning probability. In this paper, we propose an intelligent agent based model to identify the relevant set of auctions for a mobile bidder based on the bidder’s requirements, preferences and constraints from a set of active auctions available in the active auction service directory in regional gateway connected to Internet. The agent functions are based on Belief, Desire and Intention (BDI) cognitive architecture and are capable of taking dynamic decisions to search the matching auctions for the products requested by the bidder in the bidder belief set located in the bidder’s mobile device and/or in the case base of the regional gateway. If matching auctions are not found in either of them, BDI agent searches them in the active auction service directory and computes the relevance factor based on the parameters in the bidder’s requirements for all the matching active auctions and clusters into relevant (or potential) and non relevant auctions. The model is simulated to test the performance measures like availability of relevant auctions, average response time, and probability of winning auctions with better satisfaction. The proposed model is also compared with advertisement based auction service discovery model to show its effectiveness.

Abstract: Considering some factors (the quality of service and network load) on searching efficiency for the intelligent e-commerce applications, this paper defined the concept of time slice, and presented a migration strategy model of mobile agents searching goods. In this context, the evaluation approach of QoS (the quality of service) was given for businesses objectively and accurately. The request response mode is utilized to effectively avoid the migration failure because of network overload and server overload, and reduce the waste of the network bandwidth and server resources.

Information Technology Journal , 2006,
Abstract: Internet access and agent technology promises to revolutionize the landscape of agricultural business. Already E-commerce is clearly beginning to have a major impact in the agricultural sector. The way people go about purchasing agricultural products is of great concern. Sometimes buyers have to travel far distances to get agricultural products and getting the right quality is not guaranteed. Also, various market prices cannot be compared because buyers do not have all the time and resources to visit every agricultural farm. Hence, the need for an electronic means of trading called Agriculture Electronic Commerce (Agric-EC), which would help farmers and other buyers, make their appropriate business transactions online. To achieve this, a prototype Agric-EC site would be developed using web service technologies as the communication infrastructure between the buyers and the farms server using an Agent sheet simulator. This paper focuses on how mobile agents, a new technology can be incorporated into an Agriculture E-commerce system to aid buying and selling in the agricultural sector and more importantly, how prices can be retrieved from Agricultural electronic commerce sites in cases where the buying agent recommends the best price.

Abstract: Mobile commerce is enabling the development of additional revenue streams for organizations through the delivery of chargeable mobile services. According to the European Information Technology Observatory, the total amount of revenue generated by mobile commerce was reported to be less than {\pounds}9 million in the United Kingdom in 2001. By 2005 this had, at least, doubled and more recent industry forecasts project significant global growth in this area. Mobile commerce creates a range of business opportunities and new revenue streams for businesses across industry sectors via the deployment of innovative services, applications and associated information content. This paper presents a review of mobile commerce business models and their importance for the creation of mobile commerce solutions.
