Abstract: Relief of the Aran elovac municipality area was formed under the power of exogen and endogen forces. However, since the endogen shapes were largely reformed on the surface, the paper paid special attention to exogen - morphosculptural processes. Therefore, the relief types are defined according to processes that played the dominant role in exogen forming of the geological basis. Geomorphologic evolution of the relief has been tracked from the Middle Miocene until these days. The forming of shapes and the entire relief is explained by geomorphologic processes. The development and the intensity of the processes depended on geological built, climate neotectonic movements and other. In the course of the morphologic evolution of the relief, the geomorphologic process have, under the effect of climate changes and neotectonic movements, mutually exchanging and restoring multiply.
Does Rumina saharica Pallary, 1901 occur in France?

Abstract: Rumina saharica Pallary, 1901 is recorded here for the first time from a locality in France. Since this species has only recently been recognized as an independent species, different from the well known Rumina decollata (Linnaeus, 1758), students of terrestrial snails in France are advised to check their samples of Rumina for the possible presence of the slender decollated snail R. saharica among them.

Abstract: Three aviculariine genera endemic to Brazil are revised. Typhochlaena C. L. Koch, 1850 is resurrected, including five species; Pachistopelma Pocock, 1901 includes two species; and Iridopelma Pocock, 1901, six species. Nine species are newly described: Typhochlaena amma sp. n., T. costae sp. n., T. curumim sp. n., T. paschoali sp. n., Pachistopelma bromelicola sp. n., Iridopelma katiae sp. n., I. marcoi sp. n., I. oliveirai sp. n. and I. vanini sp. n. Three new synonymies are established: Avicularia pulchra Mello-Leit o, 1933 and Avicularia recifiensis Struchen & Br ndle, 1996 are junior synonyms of Pachistopelma rufonigrum Pocock, 1901 syn. n., and Avicularia palmicola Mello-Leit o, 1945 is a junior synonym of Iridopelma hirsutum Pocock, 1901 syn. n. Pachistopelma concolor Caporiacco, 1947 is transferred to Tapinauchenius Ausserer, 1871, making the new combination Tapinauchenius concolor (Caporiacco, 1947) comb. n. Lectotypes are newly designed for Pachistopelma rufonigrum Pocock, 1901 , Iridopelma hirsutum Pocock, 1901 and Pachistopelma concolor Caporiacco, 1947. Cladistic analyses using both equal and implied weights were carried out with a matrix comprising 62 characters and 38 terminal taxa. The chosen cladogram found with X-Pee-Wee and concavity 6 suggests they are monophyletic. All species are keyed and mapped and information on species habitat and area cladograms are presented. Discussion on biogeography and conservation is provided.

Abstract: Ljig municipality has a dense hydrographic network, composed mostly of the streams within the Ljig River basin. However, the quantities of water in these streams are relatively small, and characterized by great irregularities during the year. Moreover, in the last ten years of the research period, there has been a noticeable decrease of water quantities. The most significant river in the area is the Ljig River (48.9 km long), which is the largest tributary of the Kolubara River. The spring of the Ljig River is situated within the territory of the municipality, while the length of the stream on this territory is 30.13 km. The most significant tributaries of Ljig are Kacer, together with its tributary Kozeljica, as well as Dragobilj with Dragobiljica (Lalinacka Reka), Zerevac and Godevac. Among all the springs in Ljig municipality, the most important is the karst spring in the village of Ba, which is considered as the main spring of the Ljig River. It is used for water-supply of the town of Ljig and the village Kadina Luka. There are many water-management problems in Ljig municipality. The most prominent are the problems of erosion, gulling streams and floods, water-supply issues, as well as insufficient water-management infrastructure.

Abstract: The aging of population in Vojvodina Province is one of the main political, national and economical issues. This paper presents the demographic situation in municipality of Kanjiza, researching the age structure. The aging is one of the most important demographic characteristics, which analyses the stage of development of a certain population. The consequence of low birthrate and emigrations in municipality of Kanjiza during the last 30- 40 years, is that the population in 1971. was in fourth stage of demographic development. The age structure in this paper is presented through the ageing of population, ageing index, age ratio, age group up to 20 year (young population) and age groups over 60 (old population), part of fertile and active population. .

Abstract: Photometry in the B and V bands is presented for the southern stellar groups NGC 1901 and NGC 1252. NGC 1901 is often described as an open cluster while NGC 1252 consists of a concentration of about 20 stars centered approx 20' north of the original New General Catalogue coordinates, and at the southwest edge of the large region previously assigned to this object in the literature. NGC 1901 has a clear main sequence and shares similarities with the Hyades. We derive a reddening value E(B-V) = 0.04, a distance from the Sun d = 0.45 kpc (Z = -0.23 kpc) and an age 0.6 +/- 0.1 Gyr. NGC 1901 is conclusively a physical system, dynamically comparable to or more evolved than the Hyades. The colour- magnitude diagram of NGC 1252 suggests a turnoff and main sequence, and a total of 12 probable members. We simulated the Galactic field colour-magnitude diagram in the same direction and found it to be a poor match to NGC 1252, suggesting that NGC 1252 is not a field fluctuation. Isochrone fitting to the probable members is consistent with E(B-V) = 0.02, a distance from the Sun d = 0.64 kpc (Z = -0.46 kpc) and an age 3 +/- 1 Gyr. NGC 1252 cannot be ruled out as a physical group with the available data. If so, evidence is found that it is not a classical open cluster, but rather an open cluster remnant.
Malaria control in an Amazon municipality

Abstract: this study aimed to evaluate the organization of malaria control actions in the indigenous population of the municipality of s?o gabriel da cachoeira, amazonas, am, brazil, from 2003 to 2007. this is an ecological study to evaluate the impact of control measures. statistical analysis of the indicators revealed that the number of cases showed an increasing trend, with the highest numbers occurring in the rural areas. the same trend was observed for the annual parasite index (api), however the highest apis were found in the urban areas. the proportion of cases caused by plasmodium falciparum showed a reduction. hospitalization and mortality rates presented fluctuations and the fatality rate decreased. the findings indicate that control actions have proved partially effective and that they have provided a broader capacity to detect cases and to provide immediate treatment. although the municipality still presents a high risk for transmission, the pluriannual plan in progress seems to have a good prognosis for the control of the disease, if maintained in a sustainable and permanent way.
Active landslides in Ljig Municipality

Abstract: During March 2006, the territory of whole Central Serbia was characterized by frequent occurrences of landslides, that caused enormous damages. The territory of Ljig municipality, with significant share of areas built of unconsolidated sediments, was in great part affected by landslide processes. This paper points to the spatial distribution of these areas, depending on geological composition and surface inclination. Examples of landslides at several most characteristic locations have been presented (in the villages of Ivanovci, Babaji , Veli evac and Liplje). Factors that influenced the genesis and the course of the process are analyzed as well.

Abstract: An analysis of riverine outflow into the Baltic Sea is presented for the years 1901 – 1990. The monthly outflows were calculated from the measurements in a number of representative rivers. The analysis included estimation of seasonal and multi-year characteristics of riverine outflows and periodic structure, as well as stochastic and statistical indicators characterising the influence of riverine water on the variability of the sea level and water volume in the basin. The article presents prognostic characteristics determined using analysis of parametric stochastic processes. The results obtained are related to oceanographic characteristics of the Baltic Sea.
