The proposal of this research is to analyse the kinds of ideal leaderships for the Regional Hospital of Presidente Prudente, in a changing atmosphere and verify the most adequated form in order to conduct a new organizational culture within the hospital atmosphere. The applied methodology was quantitative, investigating the posture of several managers in different hospital sectors, in this changing process. Based on this data, it was possible to have straightforward analyses in search of an adequated profile for the control of the Regional Hospital of Presidente Prudente. The research has shown that it is possible a participative role model of cultural leadership. Thus, it was possible to conclude that although there was some conflict or resistance of some of the collaborators; it is possible to adequate to a new model of management that acts in a coherent form, where the leaders are committed with the ideals shown in this research.
