In recent years, heritage hourism has been attracting more and more attentions. As an important part in tourism, the interpretation system in heritage tourism, which is gradually concerned by tourism administrations, is quite different from normal system. This paper gets a conclusion that compared with normal interpretation system, the resources in the heritage tourism have a higher culture grade , and the tourism market segmentation is more striking. At the third part, this paper takes Luoyang as a case to analyse the resources, tourists and market of heritage tourism, including the resource distribution features, source markets, tourist behavior, travel motivations and so on . It also raises some problems present in the interpretation system in Luoyang, such as lack of humanization, unstandardization in design, and weak in media. The analysis is based on fieldwork and travel survey made by Luoyang tourism administration during the 23rd Peony. Based on above analysis, the paper makes some relative recommendations on the development of interpretation system, and hopes that it can provide decision-makers with necessary theoretical knowledge and some relevant suggestions for their references.
