Abstract:

The aim of the present workis tostudy long termstability of moisturizing creamsas per ICH guidelines in orderto verify theirshelf life. For this purpose we analyzedthe sample for variousphysico-chemical parameters like pH, particle size, spreadability,rheological measurement and in vitro occlusivity. The results showedthatthere was nochangeinpH, particle size, spreadability,rheological measurement and in vitro occlusivityof moisturizing creamsduring 12 monthsof its storage at 25°C ± 2°C/60% RH ±5% RH. Therefore,we concludedthatthe preparedmoisturizing cream formulation is stable for one year.
