The purpose of this study is to determine the validity and reliability of NNAQ developed byHeckert et al., (2000) on a group consisting universty students. The items of the scale have beenrelated with psychological needs(achievement, affiliation, utonomy, and dominance). The studygroup of the research consists of students in the Faculty of Education at Sel uk University. Inorder to examine the structure validity and factor structures of NNAQ, confirmatory factoranalysis have been carried out. For the validity of the scale, Cronbach’s Coefficient Alpha hasbeen used. For the criterion related validity of the scale, correlations have been used. The internalreliability score of the scale has been found 0,80. For the criterion related validity of the form ofPersonal Preference Survey has been used. In line with the findings obtained it can be assumedthat the scale has language equivalence, validity and reliability.
