Abstract:

Along the Danube to the East Turkistan, felt art is living in the Turkish World. Felt art, one of the oldest arts and crafts of Turks, is still carried on at several locations along with Afyonkarahisar. Making Felt, which is an intangible cultural heritage, is perpetuated by craftmen whose number is decreasing rapidly. Patterns, used at felt has been reflected from past to present as cultural sustainability and seen as common cultural element with the Turkish World. This cultural unity can also be seen in Afyonkarahisar. Tuna boyundan Do u Türkistan’a kadar Türk Dünyas nda ke ecilik ya amaktad r. Türklerin en eski el sanatlar ndan olan ke ecilik, birka merkezle birlikte Afyonkarahisar’da da sürdürülmektedir. Somut olmayan kültürel miras ke ecilik, say lar h zla azalan ustalar taraf ndan ya at lmaktad r. Ke ede kullan lan yan lar, kültür süreklili i olarak ge mi ten günümüze yans makta ve Türk Dünyas ile ülkemizde ortak kültür unsuru olarak g rülmektedir. Afyonkarahisar’da da bu kültür birli i izlenebilmektedir.
