Abstract:

The aim of this study is to make on etymological analysis of the word yalgukk( )ya which is stated in a work of 11th century calledDa akarmapathaavadānamālā (DKPAM) which is written Old Uigur. This word is defined as Hapax legomenon (Hap.leg). Hapax legomenon is a Greek term which means the word being stated only ones in a document or in a literary studies. The word yalgukk( )ya, the subject of our analysis, is mentioned in the 13th and 15thlines on the front page of the document numbered mz. 766 which belongs to the Mainz collection of Berlin Brandenburg Academy of Sciences. Bu al man n amac , 11. yüzy la ait Eski Uygurca Da akarmapathaavadānamālā (DKPAM) adl bir eserde ge en yalgukk( )ya kelimesinin etimolojik bir incelemesini yapmakt r. Bu kelime, hapax legomenon (Hap.leg) olarak tan mlanan bir kelimedir. Hapax legomenon, bir dokümanda ya da bir edebi eserde yaln zca bir kez ge en s zcük anlam na gelen Yunanca k kenli bir terimdir. ncelememizin konusu olan yalgukk( )ya kelimesi, Berlin-Brandenburg Bilimler Akademisi Mainz koleksiyonuna ait Mz. 766 numaral belgenin n yüzü 13. ve 15. sat rlar nda yer almaktad r.
