Abstract:

an individual of alchornea glandulos a (endl. & poepp.) was observed in blumenau (26o55'26", s49o03'22"w), santa catarina state on the border of secondary atlantic rain forest from september to november belween 1990 and 1991, with the goal of identifying species of birds with potential to spread out its seeds. in twelve hours of observation 21 species of birds explorcd the seeds.
