This paper aims to explore the textual transplant features of translating film titles into Chinese, using the Chinese translation of the movie ¡°Waterloo Bridge¡± as a case study for in-depth analysis. By examining the language, culture, and communication aspects, we will demonstrate how textual transplant influences the translation of film titles and how the emotional and cultural connotations of the original title can be preserved in the Chinese translation.
