As the main gathering place for middle-aged and elderly people in cities, a deep understanding of the impact of the built environment of old communities on their social activities is an important way to promote the physical and mental health of the elderly. Based on domestic and foreign literature, multiple evaluation indicators of built environment factors affecting elderly activities were selected. Two typical old communities with high community vitality in Mianyang City were used as research samples to conduct a questionnaire survey on the elderly population in the community. The results of 300 phenotypic questionnaires were obtained as the data basis, and SPSS and Amos software were used for data analysis to construct a Structural Equation Model (SEM) model. The research results indicate that the built environment has a positive impact on the communication activities of elderly people through dynamic and static communication activities. %K Old Community %K Perceiving the Built Environment %K Elderly People %K SEM %K Social Activities %U http://www.oalib.com/paper/6797755
