%X During the renaissance, Britain¡¯s economy developed a lot. At the same time, it also injects some new ideas into society. Some works reflected how people¡¯s attitude toward love changed during this time like Philip Sidney¡¯s A Ditty. This paper studies the poem through economic criticism and interprets it from a new perspective.
