The purpose of this article is to identify the authorities, institutions, or bodies of the Republic of Moldova involved in the protection of the cultural heritage, to analyze the general areas of responsibility, and to specify, where necessary, the relations between them, to determine the relations of subordination or collaboration. Although there are a large number of responsible institutions involved in the cultural heritage management process, we still notice the lack of efficient management and the low capacity to exploit the cultural heritage. The low level of management at the central and local level, as well as the lack of cooperation between ministries, local public administration agencies, cadastral agencies and civil society is the reason for the inefficiency of public heritage management. %K Heritage %K Architectural Heritage %K Protection %K Conservation %K Restoration %K Institutions %K Competencies %K Public Authority %U http://www.oalib.com/paper/6765831
