In order to enrich childrenĄ¯s reading experiences, to promote their early emergent literacy and future academic achievements, introducing the classics of foreign childrenĄ¯s literature is an effective way. In this process, translation serves as a bridge between the original text and the translation. At present, the literature focusing on the evaluation and analysis of childrenĄ¯s literature translation is mainly based on those traditional translation theories such as reception aesthetics theory and functional equivalence theory, and there is still a lack of researches based on eco-translatology. Therefore, this paper is mainly devoted to sorting out the relevant tenets of eco-translatology studies, and taking this as the theoretical framework to comment on Ren RongrongĄ¯s translated version of The Wind in the Willows. On the one hand, this paper aims to evaluate the translation of childrenĄ¯s literature based on eco-translatology. On the other hand, it analyzes the feasibility of eco-translatology when applying in analyzing the translated version of certain childrenĄ¯s literature works. %K Eco-Translatology %K ChildrenĄ¯s Literature %K The Wind in the Willows %K English-Chinese Translation %U http://www.oalib.com/paper/6761166
